Every season tells a story about God’s faithfulness.
After winter’s cold and spring’s unpredictability, summer arrives with longer days, warmer temperatures, and signs of new life everywhere we look. Trees are full of leaves, flowers bloom, and fields begin producing fruit. These changes remind us that God faithfully sustains His creation year after year.
Lynette Kittle points to Jesus’ words in Luke 21:30, where the sprouting leaves signal the arrival of summer. Just as the changing seasons reveal God’s order and faithfulness, they also remind us that He is continually working in our lives.
Summer offers an opportunity to reflect on God’s promises of growth, provision, and renewal. Just as He waters the earth and causes crops to flourish, He also nurtures our hearts and strengthens our faith. Even when difficult seasons seem long, God’s timing remains perfect.
As we enter this new season, may we welcome summer not only as a change in weather but also as an invitation to trust God’s plans, embrace His blessings, and look forward with hope.
Prayer
Dear Father,
Thank You for the beauty of summer and the reminders of Your faithfulness found throughout creation.
As we enter this new season, help us recognize Your hand at work in our lives. Just as You bring growth to the fields, gardens, and forests, bring spiritual growth to our hearts.
Teach us to trust Your timing, celebrate Your provision, and remain grateful for Your daily blessings. Help us use the months ahead to draw closer to You, grow in faith, and become more fruitful in our walk with Christ.
May this summer be marked by renewed hope, deeper trust, and greater awareness of Your presence.
