American figure skater Paige Rydberg performs a stunning routine to ‘Broken Vessels (Amazing Grace)’ by Hillsong Worship.
This 2014 Hillsong hit reminds us that God loves us despite our sins and shortcomings.
“All these pieces broken and scattered
In mercy gathered mended and whole
Empty handed but not forsaken
I've been set free, I've been set free”
21-year-old Paige Rydberg has been a staple in the figure skating world for years. With multiple medals under her belt, it’s always a welcome treat to see this talented young woman on the ice.
Today, she is sharing a whole new side with this mesmerizing performance set to ‘Broken Vessels (Amazing Grace)’ by Hillsong Worship. This song already fills me with praise for the Lord, but seeing it come to life on ice is an entirely different experience.
Just watch as Paige glides across the glassy surface, effortlessly turning and twirling as this worship song fills the arena.
“Oh I can see You now
Oh I can see the love in Your eyes
Laying Yourself down
Raising up the broken to life”
Professional figure skating can be a tough career path. A skater puts in countless hours of hard work and faces many obstacles such as injury. But in those moments of weakness, we are made stronger. Just like we are strengthened when God is by our side.

This singing dog will have you laughing until you cry when you hear his performance of Celine Dion’s ‘All By Myself’ on ‘America’s Got Talent.’
Casper the chihuahua won over the judges’ hearts before he even started his audition. How could you not love a cute little pooch with a bowtie on his collar?!
Casper’s owner, Pam, carried him on stage in her coordinated outfit. Her yellow skirt matched his collar. Her red cardigan matched his harness. Her black shirt matched his leash. They were dressed to impress!
When the judges asked how she figured out Casper could sing, Pam said, “Well, as a puppy, he had no voice. He would squeak and squawk, and the weirdest little noises would come out of him. And then one day, I was playing guitar and singing, and all of a sudden this noise came out of him.”
Pam shared that the duo has only shared their voices at a work talent show, but that definitely didn’t hold either of them back.
Simon Cowell said, “I’ve always said if you could find a dog that could sing, you’d make a fortune.” Clearly, even Simon was excited about this audition.
Pam had to clear some things up with Casper before they began. She said, “Okay Casper, so I’m going to take the verses as usual. You will come in on the chorus. ONLY the chorus. Understood?” I guess we can tell who makes the decisions between the two.
If you don’t know ‘All By Myself,’ yes you do. You’ll recognize it. It’s a pretty dramatic ballad that really showed off Casper’s strengths. When Pam started singing the chorus, Casper took a deep breath and let out one of the most dramatic cries/howls I’ve ever heard. And he continued for the rest of the song.
Everyone absolutely loved this little star, and so do I! All four judges gave the pair a yes -- not necessarily because they think Casper could win, but because they wanted to watch him perform again. Thank you, judges!

Listen to these talented triplets sing incredible harmonies in ‘The Blood Covered It All.’
Family members that sing together create beautiful harmonies that can only happen when they share DNA. Malaika, Mahari, and Mikaili Foster are identical triplets from Jamaica. They grew up in the church and began singing when they were tiny toddlers.
Since their parents decided to homeschool the triplets, they had the time to be heavily involved in their church and with community service. Their parents surrounded them with gospel music through their childhood until they made the choice for themselves to devote their lives to gospel music.
The sisters have shared their music with a bunch of churches in Jamaica and a handful of places in the U.S. The group has released two albums in addition to sharing their covers on Youtube.
‘The Blood Covered It All’ was made popular by The Greenes in 1997 and released on their album called ‘And The Walls Came Down.’ The Foster Triplets said they have always loved this song and that the words can resonate with people anywhere.
Try to imagine how this miracle took place
Love beyond measure our god's amazing grace
Sometimes when we're weary we might stumble and fall
But just one drop of his precious blood it covered it all
One sister began the song by herself and sounds beautiful. But when the other two sisters joined to harmonize, I got goosebumps. Their voices sound perfect together and compliment each other as if it were one person singing all three parts.
The beauty of their voices brings even more power to the message the song shares. They were truly born to sing to spread God’s love.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
Watch this scared dog learn to love again as his new owner patiently gains his trust.
Most dogs naturally love to socialize with people. Even shy dogs have their person that they want to be around. But this poor pooch had no idea that people could be his friends.
On his way to his new forever home, Walt, the hound mix, stared at the floor with his head hanging. His body was pressed against the car door as if he was trying to find a place to hide. The leash didn’t scare him much, but Walt did not want to step into the strange house.
Poor thing was used to betrayal and distance, and now all of a sudden, this mom and daughter want to give him all of the love in the world.
Walt’s new furry sibling couldn’t contain her excitement and wiggled all around him. She couldn’t wait to start playing with her new friend, but he still closed himself off from her and the humans. His new mom, Kelly, said, “He sat and stared at the wall for hours. And even when I touched him to comfort him, he was cowering away from me because he was afraid I was going to hurt him.”
Slowly, Walt got more comfortable exploring his new home and even greeting the people that live in it! Kelly said that she knew Walt felt safe when he started to put his head in her lap or under her hand because he wanted a pet.
He eventually learned how to play like a dog and would challenge Kelly by jumping toward her wagging his tail. She would jump back toward him, and he’d take off running around their back yard only to come back and do something over and over again.
Walt’s new sister loves sharing a bed with him so they often snuggle in one bed. He truly seems like he’s grown to trust his new family with his life. Walt now knew what warmth and love felt like instead of being neglected.
God bless Kelly and her family for giving Walt a home, and may they have endless happy days together!
Hear ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ in a whole new way with this viral video performance. In 1814, Francis Scott Key penned the iconic song after the events of The War Of 1812. British forces bombed Fort McHenry but the U.S. still proved victorious during the battle.
The next morning, Francis Scott Key spotted the American flag flying over the fort and he was hit with love and inspiration. What followed are the special words that we know and love today.
“O! say can you see by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?”
Often referred to as ‘The National Anthem,’ ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ is a song full of history and pride for the United States. In this video, you’ll hear the story behind the lyrics while the iconic melody plays underneath.
“And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;
O! say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?”
This video has been viewed over 17 million times online and the number is still growing. What a beautiful way to honor our country.
2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
