Mother-daughter duo Honey and Sammy managed to impress the judges with their second chance audition and earn the coveted golden buzzer.
When Sammy heard that her daughter, Honey, had applied for Britain’s Got Talent, she was thrilled. But the real shock was when she found out that Honey included her name on the application too.
Arriving onstage, the duo shared how Sammy recently overcame cancer and that has brought the two of them closer than ever. Together, they set out to entertain the theater with a special rendition of ‘She Used To Be Mine.’ But before the song was finished, judge Simon Cowell stopped the track and asked if they would be willing to learn another song and come back later.
Of course, the two agreed and rushed to learn an entirely new song with unfamiliar lyrics and a duet arrangement. Just a few minutes later, Honey and Sammy stepped back onto the stage to belt out the words of ‘Lost Without You’ by Freya Ridings.
“But I think I'm lost without you
I just feel crushed without you
I've been strong for so long
That I never thought how much I needed you
I think I'm lost without you”
The pair earned a standing ovation and even had judge Amanda wiping away the tears.
Simon applauded the mother-daughter act and said, “After everything you’ve gone through, you deserve that moment. And I’m going to remember this audition for a long long time.” But it was Amanda who was moved beyond measured. “It was just the most wonderful thing to witness.”
That’s when she leaned over and pressed the golden buzzer sending the sweet duo on to the next round. What an incredible moment!

In a swift rescue, one kind woman saves a squirrel who was drowning.
As one can see from the surveillance video, the woman was taking out some cardboard boxes to recycle. While she is walking back to the building, she notices a squirrel swimming around in a trash can and he can’t get out.
She quickly tips the trash bin over, letting all the water flow out. The tired and wet squirrel crawls out and starts to find his way over to a tree. How relieved he must have been to get rescued!
"It was my sister who walked outside and then saw the squirrel drowning and decided to save its life and bring inside to warm up,” writes the user who uploaded this rescue video. “It was freezing cold outside and the squirrel couldn’t move after he got out of the bucket.”
That’s when the woman decided to bring the wet squirrel back inside and try to nurse it back to health.
“My sister brought him in and put him on her heating pad with a towel and a ton of peanuts, and he didn’t show any signs of getting better. She checked on him a couple hours later and he jumped out of the box and looked like he was back to normal and almost dry.”
What great news to hear that the squirrel recuperated after the care he received from this kind woman! And it seems like she really made a mark on him as he has been coming back to visit her ever since he got better.
“She let [the squirrel] back outside,” writes the woman’s sister on YouTube. “And he’s been coming back ever since to say hi and she feeds him."

10-year-old Joseph Sheppard stunned the judges with his rock and roll audition on Britain’s Got Talent.
When we first met Joseph, he was shaking out the nerves with a funny dance backstage. He told the hosts that he would be singing, but didn’t quite tell the whole story.
After introducing himself to the judges, Joseph ran off stage for a quick wardrobe change. That’s when he returned with his guitar and a leather jacket. Joseph rocked the stage with a brilliant performance of ‘Johnny B Goode’ from Chuck Berry.
From his guitar skills to his vocal talent, Joseph truly lit up the stage. He even earned two thumbs up from Simon Cowell. After the unexpected performance, the judges had nothing but praise for the young man.
David started off by saying, "You are so cool. You are such a little dude and you're very very skilled. That is not easy to sing and play guitar like that. I think you're going to be a huge star."
Then, Amanda chimed in. "You are the complete package. That was a brilliant audition. Well done." Joseph easily earned four yes votes from the judges and he will move on to the next round of competition.
This young man certainly has a lot of skill and personality. Britain’s Got Talent is truly the perfect place for this boy to show the world exactly what he can do. And I cannot wait to see what he has in store for his next performance. What about you?

Christina is singing the song ‘Shallow’ from the 2018 version of ���A Star Is Born’ with Lady Gaga. Barbra Streisand was the leading lady in the 1976 version of the film, and Judy Garland starred in it in the 1954 film.
“I’m going to find some way to bring all three of these stars together somehow,” says Christina before she starts her performance.
As Christina starts off the song, she is impersonating Judy Garland in voice and in mannerisms. She then switches to a Barbra Streisand impersonation. As she switches between the two iconic ladies, the crowd keeps laughing and giving her applause. They are loving it! It is clear that Christina is a talented impersonator and performer.

With over 21 million views worldwide on her YouTube videos, Christina is best known for her renditions of Bonnie Taylor’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart” and Idina Mensel’s “Let It Go.” These videos led to her performing on major television programs such as The Ellen Degeneres Show and The Queen Latifah Show.

Country superstar Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren Akins, recall their emotional adoption story on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
Thomas Rhett is one of the biggest names in country music. With hit songs like ‘Die A Happy Man’ and ‘Life Changes,’ Thomas has solidified his place in the country music world. But it’s his love story that is getting all the attention these days. Thomas and Lauren wed back in 2012.
For years, they dreamed of starting a family, but they never imagined where the Lord would lead them. Lauren was on a trip to Uganda when she met a little baby that stole her heart.
After calling her husband, she recounted the conversation to Kelly Clarkson. “Honey, we’ve got to find her her forever home, I know that’s why I’m here—to get this girl to her home.” But it was Thomas’ answer that truly blew the host away. “It was after a concert and I was going to bed, I was like, 'Well, we'll bring her home.’”
That’s when Kelly started to wipe away the tears as the she exclaimed that she had done her own makeup and it wasn’t waterproof. Thomas and Lauren went on to adopt Willa Gray. And, since that time, they’ve added two additional girls to the family with Ada James and Lennon Love.

A talented young dancer who lost her leg inspires Melissa McCarthy on Little Big Shots when she shows her just what she can do.
“Tessa started dancing when she was two years old,” says Tessa’s dad, Matt. “It was always a natural thing for her. Music comes on, the girl moves.”
But in 2017, Tessa became very sick. “Her leg started swelling up. She couldn’t stand on it,” Matt shares. “We took her to the emergency room. We knew something was really wrong with her.”
The doctors found out what was going on with Tessa and had to put her into emergency surgery. It was then when she lost her leg. After that, the little dancer was in a coma for five days.
Once Tessa came out of the coma, her parents had to let her know about the loss of her leg. “It’s the hardest thing trying to explain that to your child,” Matt says.
After spending over two months in the hospital, Tessa was finally able to come home.
“Once we got her home is when the true Tessa started coming back,” shares her father. “She wanted to get her roundoff back handspring back; she was determined. She set goals and she set her heart to it.”
With her strength and determination, Tessa got her back handspring back! In fact, she showed off her roundoff double back handspring to Melissa McCarthy. Melissa was so impressed she fell to the floor and gave Tessa a big hive five after her trick.
“So, after you had your surgery, how long did it take you before you started dancing again?” Melissa asks Tessa. She tells her that it was about 2 months later.
“That’s amazing. I did not think that it was that quick,” says Melissa. “It was definitely hard,” Tessa responds.
In order to achieve her goal and get back into dancer shape, Tessa stuck to a vigorous workout routine. And she continues to work out five times a week, four hours a day. What a hardworking little girl!
It is inspiring to see Tessa work so hard at her passion and use her story to inspire others. What a joyful and resilient young lady!
