Recent research from the University of Toronto suggests that there is real hope for those who have been diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and have received treatment. There is also a surprising element of this that is of particular interest to people of faith.

Inspirational survivor Elizabeth Smart shares why she’s helping other women take back their power after a terrifying incident on recent Delta flight. Elizabeth was just 14 years old, when she was kidnapped and suffered through months of horrible sexual abuse. But her faith in God helped to get her through and, now, Elizabeth Smart has been fully restored by Him. Since that time, Elizabeth has openly shared her story and uses it to inspire and encourage others. Sadly, this Christian celebrity recently found herself as the victim of yet another sexual predator. Elizabeth told Gayle King, in a CBS This Morning interview, how she was flying home to Utah and fell asleep during the flight. “I’ve always felt safe on an airplane,” she explained. “I’ve never been worried — I’ve never felt threatened on an airplane until now.” But everything changed when Elizabeth awoke to inappropriate touching from the man sitting next to her. “I was shocked. I mean the last time someone touched me without my say so was when I was kidnapped. And I froze. I didn’t know what to do.” The frightening incident left Elizabeth feeling vulnerable and helpless all over again. “I kept saying to myself, ‘You’re Elizabeth Smart. You should know what to do.'” She immediately notified Delta and an investigation is currently underway. But Elizabeth felt compelled to do more. That’s when her husband encouraged her to share her experience with a family friend trained in self-defense. And it led Elizabeth to a powerful revelation. So, Elizabeth started to train in self-defense and decided to use her position to help other women do the same. Elizabeth Smart now offers a program called Smart Defense. It’s self-defense classes for women and girls with the goal of empowering them to fight back if ever attacked. Elizabeth is the true definition of an overcomer and this testimony is truly inspiring. The Vale dance group returns to The Greatest Dancer stage for another awe-worthy performance. We first met this talented contemporary dance team when they auditioned blindfold on The Greatest Dancer. This British show follows dancers of all ages and genres as they compete for prize money and the chance to appear on Strictly Come Dancing. At first, the dancer or group is hidden behind a wall. As they start to perform, the audience is given the chance to vote on the audition. If more than 75 percent of the audience likes the dancer, the mirrored-wall will open and the dancer moves on to the next round. Vale blew everyone away when they appeared blindfolded. In fact, they performed the entire routine with their eyes covered. The contemporary dance group easily earned their spot in the next round and, now, they are back for a performance in the live shows. This particular dance is a steam-punk style clock-themed routine. As the dancers move to the music, the quick tempo changes only add to the difficulty of the dance. Each team member effortlessly pulls off each move. It’s obvious that Vale is a top contender in the competition and they put so much time and effort into each performance. We have seen a lot of talented dancers and ensemble on The Greatest Dancer this season, but Vale is definitely a stand out among the competition. Daytime personality Kelly Clarkson cries as Hoda Kotb describes the life-changing realization that she was a mother. Today, he’s back on the big stage as a contestant on America’s Got Talent: The Champions. The popular competition features over 40 acts from all over the globe. The list of contenders includes past winners, finalists and fan-favorites. Marcelito initially impressed the judges with his jaw-dropping performance of ‘The Prayer.’ But now that the element of surprise was gone, some worried that Marcelito might not have what it takes to go all the way. As he prepared for the finale show, Marcelito knew he would have to give the performance of a lifetime. Teen ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer entertains Kelly Clarkson and friends with a hilarious rendition of ‘Something’s Got A Hold On Me.’ This talented young lady quickly shot to fame after winning the twelfth season of America’s Got Talent in 2017. Darci’s first audition earned the coveted golden buzzer and became a viral hit. Darci Lynne easily won over the hearts of America with hilarious routines combined with a talented singing voice. She introduced us to characters such as Petunia, Oscar and Edna. Week after week, she blew everyone away with her ability to sing difficult songs while simultaneously operating the puppets. Since her big win, Darci Lynne has been touring all over the country. She’s also headlined television specials and appeared on numerous talk shows. Today, she’s visiting The Kelly Clarkson Show for a special performance of ‘Something’s Got A Hold On Me’ from Etta James. It was an incredible moment captured on camera with this man on a park bench started an impromptu concert of ‘Livin’ On A Prayer.’ This iconic rock song was originally recorded by the band, Bon Jovi. It was an instant hit for the group and continues to stand the test of time as one of the greatest songs ever. So, it’s no surprise that someone would choose this tune to belt out in front of a large crowd. And that’s exactly what happened when this man on a park bench started to sing the beloved lyrics. “We've got to hold on to what we've got It doesn't make a difference if we make it or not We've got each other and that's a lot for love We'll give it a shot” As the man starts to sing, you can see people all over the park turn to see where the music is coming from. There are smiles, nods and even some quizzical looks. But then, the most amazing thing starts to happen. Voices from all over the area start to join in for this impromptu rendition of ‘Livin’ On A Prayer.’ And when they hit the chorus, everyone was singing their heart out. “Woah, we're half way there Woah, livin' on a prayer Take my hand, we'll make it I swear Woah, livin' on a prayer” This incredible moment just proves that it only takes one person to create a movement. This simple act set off a wave of joy that radiated through the entire park. And now, the Internet is able to join on the happiness too. Who else is singing along to this rock hit?

In this contemporary dance routine, a group called Brothers of Dance take us back in time with their performance. The group is dancing on a show called The Greatest Dancer which is on BBC 1 and hosted by Alesha Dixon and Jordan Banjo. The judges on the show are Cheryl, Matthew Morrison, Oti Mabuse, and Todrick Hall and they are searching for the greatest dancer in the UK. As the men in Brothers of Dance take the stage, they look dapper in their costumes inspired by the Peaky Blinders. The Peaky Blinders were a street gang in England at the end of the 19th century and after World War I. Members of the Peaky Blinders wore a signature outfit that included tailored jackets, lapel overcoats, button waistcoats, and peaked flat caps. At the beginning of the dance, fire comes blazing up from the stage and sets up the intense mood for the performance. Once Brothers of Dance start to move, they can be seen all over the stage doing lots of incredible jumps, flips, and turns. They are all so impressive and entertaining to watch! The song that the group is dancing to is called ‘Glory’ by The Score. The song has just the right edge and grit to it to fit the theme of the performance. “This is not another story This is not another drill I refuse to be another number now, never staying down This is something real I'm a name that you'll remember I am more than just a thrill I am gonna be the greatest ever now; watch out I'm a force that you will feel” On YouTube, many people are fans of the routine by Brothers of Dance. “Just love their control, fantastic!” says one comment. “Wow, I loved the intensity in the dance!” writes another fan. What a fierce and exciting dance brought to life by such wonderfully talented dancers!

13-year-old Angelina Jordan returns to the America’s Got Talent stage with a unique rendition of ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’ by Elton John. We first met Angelina back in 2014 on Norway’s Got Talent. This hypnotic crooner was just 8 years old when she named the winner the entire season. Her powerful voice and unbelievable performances racked up millions of views online. Angelina is best known for singing classic jazz tunes such as ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ and ‘Summertime.’ And now, she’s bringing her talents to the USA as a contestant on America’s Got Talent: The Champions. The popular competition features over 40 acts from all over the globe. During Angelina’s first performance, she belted out an incredible rendition of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ that earned the golden buzzer from judge Heidi Klum. Now, she’s pulling out all the stops for her semi-final performance of ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.’ Just listen as she sings these classic Elton John lyrics. “So goodbye yellow brick road Where the dogs of society howl You can't plant me in your penthouse I'm going back to my plough Back to the howling, old owl in the woods Hunting the horny-back toad Oh, I've finally decided my future lies Beyond the yellow brick road” After her performance, Angelina earned rave reviews from the judges. Heidi said, “I can feel it all the way down to my bones that you are a superstar in the making.” There’s no doubt that this young singer has what it takes to go all the way. But only time will tell if the viewers feel the same.

It was a precious moment captured on camera when this newborn elephant takes its very first steps. I think we can all agree that God truly took His time when He placed animals on this Earth. All across the land, we see the most incredible creatures. And the more we see of His many wonders, the more we appreciate their beauty and splendor. Animals are truly a gift. Each and every one has a specific purpose and it is amazing to witness them in their natural habitat. One of the most majestic creatures on land is the elephant. While some people may think that these large animals are scary or a danger, that is not always the case. And it couldn’t be further from the truth with this newborn elephant. This sweet baby just entered the world and he’s trying out his new legs. Carole Deschuymere, a wildlife photographer, noticed the little guy while she was on a safari in Zimbabwe. The video shows him attempting to take a few hilarious steps before falling down. It’s so amazing to watch this tiny creature adapt to his new surroundings and start to learn about the world. And I think we are all smiling a little bit bigger right now. Am I right? Talented dancers impress the judges on The Greatest Dancer during their moving performance of a Romeo and Juliet themed dance. The Greatest Dancer is a dance talent show on BBC One, and it features incredible dancers from all over the world. Michael and Jowita are the dancers in this stunning Shakespearean performance. It starts off with Jowita standing above Michael on a balcony, with him kneeling down and looking up at her beauty. It looks just like the iconic scene from Romeo and Juliet. Then, Jowita jumps into Michael’s arms with such grace and he catches her. It was absolutely exquisite to watch and a move that made the crowd erupt in cheers. The pair dances together beautifully, doing turns and lifts all over the stage. While Michael and Jowita twirl around the stage while fog is covering the floor, the camera spins around them and gives viewers a sense of the atmosphere of the room. You can see that everyone there is enthralled and captivated by the performance. It’s impossible to take your eyes off Michael and Jowita as they elegantly tell a story with their dance moves. Later in their performance, soft and delicate petals start to fall from the sky as Michael beautifully lifts Jowita and spins her around in one breathtaking move. “I just can’t stop watching this clip -- absolutely beautiful, stunning, mesmerizing,” says one fan on YouTube. Another person comments about how they reacted when they first saw this dance while they were watching the show on their TV. “At home when this finished, I stood up and applauded. I loved it. Cannot wait to see their next performance.” Let’s hope that Michael and Jowita continue to make it through future rounds of The Greatest Dancer, because watching their talent is a feast for the eyes!

These pint-sized dancers, Lily and Joseph, dazzle everyone during their retro performance on The Greatest Dancer. The Greatest Dancer is a dance talent show on BBC One. The competition features a host of talent from across the world of dance from ballet to jazz and hip hop to contemporary. The dancers give the performances of their lives in the hope of being named The Greatest Dancer. In this performance, Lily and Joseph’s energy is off the charts! They show so much emotion with their facial expressions, and it is so cute and entertaining to see. For the dance, Joseph is dressed in an adorable pink suit while Lily is wearing a colorful and sparkly dress. Their costumes match the theme of the stage décor, which is full of bright and colorful props to make it look like a summer day at the beach. The caption on Youtube for this video could not be more accurate: “Lily and Joseph spend a day at the beach and along with the ice cream, they melt everyone's hearts!” These talented, young dancers are just so much fun to watch! And the song that they chose to dance to for their routine, “Runaway Baby” by Bruno Mars, is just as much fun to listen to. Throughout the song, Lily and Joseph can be seen dancing all around the stage doing high kicks, jumps, flips, and turns. Their stamina and the precision of their steps is very impressive. When looking on the Facebook page of The Greatest Dancer, it is clear that Lily and Joseph are a crowd favorite. “Youngest two in the competition and they completely held their own. They are total stars no matter what,” says one fan on Facebook. “Cuteness overload!” says another. Hopefully Lily and Joseph will go far in this competition, and we will see more of these dazzling and enthusiastic dancers in the future!

In this heartwarming video, friends help a paralyzed groom stand up and dance with his bride on their wedding day. Ten years ago, Chance Veazy was struck by a car. This terrible accident led to him being paralyzed from the waist down. But with a little help from his best friends, Chance was determined to dance with his beautiful bride, Molly, at their wedding reception. In order to make Chance’s dream come true, his friends ended up strapping their legs to his for support. Then they pulled him all the way up and carried his body weight while Chase was able to sway with Molly on the dance floor. What an incredible moment made possible by some wonderful friends! For Chance and Molly’s first dance song, they chose “Because You Loved Me” by Celine Dion. “You were my strength when I was weak You were my voice when I couldn't speak You were my eyes when I couldn't see You saw the best there was in me Lifted me up when I couldn't reach You gave me faith 'cause you believed I'm everything I am Because you loved me” “It was unreal. It was more than you could ever expect,” says Chance when thinking back to his first dance with his wife. “It just gave me a sense of fulfillment from being a man and standing tall and actually having her head be on my chest.” Molly thinks back on that wonderful dance as well and how special that moment was for the two of them. “I don’t know a better word for it than just magical,” she says. How amazing it is that Chase’s friends were able to make this beautiful and touching moment happen for the newlyweds! Friendships like these are ones to cherish and always thank God for.
