TNT Boys From The Philippines Perform 'And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going'

The TNT Boys return to The World’s Best stage with an incredible rendition of ‘And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going.' Filipino singers Francis Concepcion, Mackie Empuerto, and Kiefer Sanchez make up the talented group. In fact, The TNT Boys were finalists on the Filipino amateur singing show “Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids." Now, they’re competitors on a brand new talent competition. The World’s Best is a new format that brings contestants from all over the world in every different genre. The acts audition for a panel of judges and ‘wall’ of 50 experts in all areas of entertainment. If a contestant scores 75 or above, then they will move on to the next round. After the initial audition, the battle rounds begin. Today, the TNT boys are back with a their own rendition of ‘And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going’ from the Broadway musical Dreamgirls. “And I am telling you I'm not going Even though the rough times are showing There's just no way, there's no way We're part of the same place We're part of the same time We both share the same blood We both have the same mind And time and time we have so much to share” These 3 boys may be young, but they have talent well beyond their years. I'm in awe of the harmonies and notes that they can all hit and it’s obvious that the judges are impressed too. They easily moved on to the next level of competition and I cannot wait to see what they do next.

10-Year-Old's Barbra Streisand Audition Earns Golden Buzzer

10-year-old Eleana Gabunada earned the coveted golden buzzer with her Barbra Streisand audition on Asia’s Got Talent. When this young talent took the stage, she brought everything that she had. As soon as she stepped up to the microphone, Eleana captivated the entire audience with her positive personality. And then she started to sing an awe-inspiring rendition of Barbra Streisand's 'Don't Rain On My Parade.’ “Don't tell me not to live Just sit and putter Life's candy and the sun's A ball of butter Don't bring around a cloud To rain on my parade” This is a very difficult song to perform, especially for a young girl. There are so many high notes that it has a tendency to trip up even the most seasoned performers. But Eleana belted out the words in perfect fashion. This young girl may be small but she certainly possesses one big voice. And her performance definitely impressed the judges. She earned rave reviews for this entertaining performance. Judge David Foster was so impressed that he said, “There’s no doubt in my mind that if you want to be on Broadway one day, you will be.” And when it came time to vote, David decided that Eleana deserved more than just the usual ‘yes.’ He reached over the table and hit the golden buzzer sending this young talent right through to the next round. You can just see the look of joy and amazement on Eleana’s face as confetti flies down from the ceiling. I have a feeling that we will be hearing this name in the future.

2 Teens Sing The Doxology In A Cathedral

Two teens perform a beautiful rendition of The Doxology inside a cathedral. The Doxology is one of the most recognized pieces of Christian music in the entire world. Many churches still sing these words together each and every Sunday. “Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; Praise Him, all creatures here below; Praise Him above, ye heavenly host; Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.” Thomas Ken wrote these iconic words in 1674. Now, two teenagers are standing inside a cathedral singing each word with love and praise. The combination of their skill vocals and the acoustics in the building give this classic song a hauntingly beautiful feel. As each note is sung out loud, you can truly feel God’s spirit wash over you. What a refreshing performance from this duo. It’s always such a blessing to see the next generation worshipping our Lord and sharing His incredible message. When we join our voices in song, we are creating joyful noise for all of the world to hear. What a blessing, indeed. 1 Chronicles 16:23-27 “23 Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day. 24 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples. 25 For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods. 26 For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens. 27 Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his dwelling place.”

During the first round, Dundu scored an almost-perfect 97. Now, they’re back for another performance and it’s even better than the first. This puppeteer group utilizes a giant, lighted puppet that is controlled by numerous people underneath. But this time, Dundu isn’t the only puppet on stage. He’s introduced to a female and, together, they share a journey of love that will absolutely amaze. Somehow, the puppeteers can make every single move look so fluid and nature. The large puppets seem to glide across the stage as they dance and interact. Without any words, the entire story is played out right in front of us. Caroline Morahan, an actress and television host from Ireland is part of the wall. She remarked on the performance by saying, “There’s something magical that you do. It transcends language.” There’s no doubt that this group has so much talent and skill. They have created a way to tell stories that is unlike anything we’ve ever seen. The point of The World’s Best is to bring together all kinds of talent and that is exactly what we are seeing today. I hope Dundu continues to tell stories for years to come.

Original Voice Of Ariel Jodi Benson Sings 'Part Of Your World'

The original voice of Ariel, from The Little Mermaid, performs the iconic song ‘Part Of Your World’ on Pickler And Ben. It’s been nearly 30 years since the popular Walt Disney movie was released. Now, Jodi Benson is reprising her role for this special performance. Just listen as she belts out the classic lyrics to this beloved tune. “Look at this stuff Isn't it neat? Wouldn't you think my collection's complete? Wouldn't you think I'm the girl The girl who has ev'rything? Look at this trove Treasures untold How many wonders can one cavern hold? Lookin' around here you'd think (Sure) she's got everything” Over the years, many artists have lent their voices to ‘Part Of Your World.’ But no one can compare to the original voice of Jodi Benson. As part of the anniversary celebration, Jodi is stepping back into the role that made her famous. There’s something so amazing about hearing the original voice sing this fan favorite. Whenever I hear classics like this, I'm always transported back in time to my childhood and it puts the biggest smile on my face. I can remember watching the movie in theaters and singing along to every single song. The Little Mermaid is just one of the timeless Walt Disney movies that made up many of the memories of our youth. These songs and scenes truly stood the test of time and, now, the next generation can enjoy these amazing stories. Who else was belting out the words to this Disney classic?

'Coal Miner's Daughter' Audition Has 2 Judges Battling For This Country Girl

18-year-old Hannah Kay impresses the judges with her ‘Coal Miner’s Daughter’ audition on The Voice. This Texas native brought her country roots to the stage and she did not disappoint. Just watch as she confidently belts out the lyrics to this iconic Loretta Lynn song. “Well, I was borned a coal miner's daughter In a cabin, on a hill in Butcher Holler We were poor but we had love That's the one thing that daddy made sure of He shoveled coal to make a poor man's dollar” Before Hannah even finished the first verse, judges Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson both turned their chairs around. After that, it was a battle between the two winning judges for Hannah’s unique country voice. Blake is one of the most successful country artists of the modern decade and Kelly has performed with other country acts such as Reba McEntire and Jason Aldean. Both judges were determined to win over Hannah and add them to their team. Blake celebrated her ‘old school’ voice by saying, “I heard Kelly mention the old style and it’s not really out there anymore. And the truth is, it is out there. It’s just not being celebrated. Hannah, you could be that female.” Hannah certainly has a talent that we do not see enough of anymore. This young woman would do great with either judge, but ultimately, she decided to join Team Blake. I am so excited to see her next song selection and just how far this future country queen can go.

Man Sings The Star Spangled Banner While Painting

Artist and singer Joe Everson stunned the crowd at a basketball game when he performed The Star Spangled Banner while painting. I think we can all agree that The National Anthem is one of the hardest songs to perform. Those high notes at the end can be a challenge even for the most seasoned musician. But today, one man is sharing a unique rendition of this iconic song and it has the whole nation in awe. Joe Everson was tasked with singing The Star Spangled Banner before a Mississippi Tigers basketball game at Mizzou Arena. He started to belt out the lyrics that we all know and love. 'O say can you see by the dawn's early light What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming' Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming' But Joe wasn’t just singing, he was also painting at the same time. At first, the crowd wasn’t quite sure what he was drawing. You can see faces in the crowd looking intently at Joe and his creation. Right before the big finale, Joe flipped the canvas around and it revealed the symbolic image of raising the flag on Iwo Jima. The crowd ignited in cheers as Joe proudly added the stripes on the flag while simultaneously hitting that last note. What an incredible display of talent, artistry and patriotism. Joe certainly has a gift for performing and painting and I’m so glad that he’s sharing his skills with the world. Who else was in awe when he turned the painting over?
