Are you in need of a little hope? Well, here’s a small dose of hope in the form of an uplifting video about faith, God, and the journey to hope. Kathie Lee Gifford shares a message behind her new faith-based film and book with Hoda and Jenna. 

Kathie’s new book, ‘The God Of The Way: A Journey into the Stories, People, and Faith That Changed the World Forever’ releases on August 30. But there’s more! This book is the companion to the film titled, ‘The Way,’ which she produced with her fellow co-author and co-producer, Rabbi Jason Sobel. Kathie says one without the other is like a nice dinner with no dessert.

The pair share their perspective on how little changes in life can create more fulfillment and hope. Rabbi Jason says many of the characters in both the book and film were living in hopeless situations we can all relate to, but the beauty of each story is how God showed up. He goes on to tell Hoda and Jenna that the word ‘Tikva’ is the Hebrew word for hope, which means: to stretch or strengthen. Then he says something that is absolutely mindblowing, we have to be stretched in order to be strengthened. Isn’t that the truth? 

Many of us are dealing with struggles like our finances, a rough patch in marriage, parenting a wayward child, or dealing with a health crisis. We’re being stretched beyond what we think we can carry, but that’s when God steps in to strengthen us and provide a redeeming dose of hope. 

Kathie shares that millions of little miracles are happening all around us every single day but the key to witnessing miracles is having a heart, mind, and soul that is receptive because God is a gentle spirit who gently reminds you of who he is. He’s not going to knock you over the head with miracles and hope, as Kathie reminded Jenna and Hoda. 

Rabbi Jason went on to remind us that we have to be willing to see the good. If we want to see God’s blessings, if we don’t want to miss what he is doing, we have to operate from a heart and mind that are looking to God to see what he is doing in our lives. It’s a matter of keeping our eyes on Jesus.

What an incredible way to honor a friend. Donny Osmand shares a favorite duet with the late Olivia Newton-John. 

After the iconic Australian-born star passed away earlier this month at the age of 73, Donny took to the internet. He found some old footage of him and Oliva singing together and posted it online with this caption, “Singing with Olivia was one of the greatest moments for me during The Donny and Marie Show. I can only imagine how wonderful heaven is now that this beautiful angel is there. My dear friend, Olivia, I Love You. I Honestly Love You.”

Donny posted this personal tribute, and the video quickly went viral with close to 100,000 views.I’m guessing this video will continue to trend because this sweet memory is worth more than its weight in gold. 

Olivia had lost her fight against breast cancer, and we all know she is walking in a healed body next to Jesus. The memories she left behind have given fans, family, and friends like Donny some solace. Like this duet where Olivia is wearing a beautiful white shirt and white leggings singing one of our favorites, “You’re The One That I Want,” from the film Grease. Donny, of course, had to match her and he looked fresh and fancy wearing a white suit and pants too. 

Although I personally love the original with John Travolta, I’d say Donny was a pretty good contender. The emotions on his face revealed that he was thrilled to be singing the song with Olivia. Not only did they sing together, but they also choreographed a few dance moves, which included hip bumps and Olivia pulling him along the stage by his tie. Perhaps what makes this tribute so special is the photo Donny shared after the song ends that captures how great of friends they were. 

What a precious way to say goodbye to a friend, knowing one day, Donny and the rest of us will be reunited in God’s mighty kingdom.

America’s Got Talent had another heart stopping moment thanks to one of the judges and you don’t want to miss it. 

Simon stopped her audition, but singer Camille K came back with an epic original. If you haven’t heard Camille K croon romantic, jazzy melodies, you’re in for a real treat. And deep down, I think Simon knew it too. 

When Camille came out of the stage she was confident and full of smiles. She knew she had a unique voice and she was ready to share it with the world. 

She shares with the judges why she wanted to come on the show and audition before launching into a cover song. But not thirty seconds in, Simon stops her. 

He realized the song she was singing wasn’t doing her vocal talents justice. So he stops her and asks Camille to sing an original song since she shared that she not only sings but writes her own music. 

Camille handled the pressure beautifully and flawlessly. I don’t think I could’ve recovered and I definitely would’ve been flustered. 

And what happened next was absolutely jaw dropping. Camille sang an original that showcased her unique voice and revealed she has a beautiful way about her. When she finishes crooning a romantic melody, the crowd went wild with a standing ovation and the judges were in awe. Simon called her voice, “Beautiful,” and reminded her going forward to sing songs that define who she is. 

Another judge told her that Camille’s voice is much more than just beautiful, it was spectacular. Simon went on to give Camille some very wise advice. He told her that songwriting and singing is all about finding the songs that define you. Without it, she would be just another pretty voice instead of standing out. We can’t wait to hear from Camille K again. The way she handled the audition was impressive and she’s been given the gift of a heavenly voice!

It is always encouraging to watch a good reunion happen. In this video, a dad reunites with his daughter after spending three years apart.

At the start of the video, the 60-year-old father named Eunan is sitting at a restaurant table when all of a sudden, a sweet blonde girl taps him on the shoulder, and he jumps up in shock. 

With his hands over his face, he is completely thrown off guard seeing his daughter after having been apart for so long. When Eunan sees Carolyn, his 28-year-old daughter, he is amazed. 

She had been away for such a long time out of the country, and this was completely unexpected for the Irish man. Carolyn says, “They had no idea when I would be back, and we made the big decision a few months ago.

After recognizing his daughter was right in front of him, Eunan embraced her and held her close. Carolyn sobs in his arms, and it is an absolutely emotional moment as she tells her father that she loves him. 

Eunan looks upward and begins to hold back tears as he gently kisses his daughter's forehead. The mother is seen crying and looking on nearby. 

When we see this picture of a daughter returning home to her dad, it reminds us that we are all children of God and will one day be returning to our Father in heaven. As we see the joy and the emotion as these two embrace, may it remind us how loved we are by our Heavenly Father today and forever.

Check out this incredible rescue story. A toddler cracks a missing person case after finding an elderly woman in the backyard. 

At the start of the clip, a mom is playing bubbles with her young toddler. He is having so much fun on a bright and sunny day. It seemed like just another afternoon in the backyard of their Georgia home when the young boy followed their pet dog to the fenced area, and he discovered someone unexpected. 

When the mother asked what the boy saw, he responded, “feet.” As she bent down to look, there was an 82-year-old woman named Nina lying there. She had been missing for a couple of days.

Nina’s daughter was very relieved to discover that her mother was found. She shares how they had tried everything to find her mother but had not succeeded, so when she found out that a toddler discovered her mom, she was amazed. 

Nina has early onset Alzheimers. Nina had gone out to look for her sister, whom she forgot passed away. After everything, the boy and Nina were able to meet. This young toddler saved this woman’s life.

This is a miraculous story of how the Lord used a young person to rescue an older person. It is absolutely incredible to hear of the impact that this boy made on not only this woman but on her family. 

Similarly, when we work on being aware of the needs of those around us, we can love on them and encourage their loved ones as well by the ways that we show Christ to them.

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God” 1 John 4:7

Some people practice to learn a skill, and some people are born with natural talent. In this video, a self-taught pianist goes viral after playing a chilling tune on a public piano.

At the start of the video, the guy asks a girl in the airport if she knows how to play the piano, and she tells him that she does. He welcomes her over to come and play. 

She begins to play beautifully to the soundtrack of Interstellar the movie. Everyone watches intently. She does a great job with tone painting and knows how to press into each melodic moment. 

As she performs, people walk by and view her or listen on their way to their gates. Her two friends stand by watching and videoing. 

The young woman is a high-level pianist who has integrity and intensity. She has the entire piece memorized. It is extremely impressive to watch her and hear her skills. She obviously has a love of the instrument and spends time enjoying it. 

There is beauty in having a gift to share with the world. If we simply conceal it, no one else can see or hear it, but if we use our talents for the glory of God and for others to see, they can be used as platforms for sharing His love with the world. At the end of the video, the actual performer tells her, “well done.” 

This unique moment of watching this young woman perform reminds us to not hide our skills from the world, but to allow the Lord to use them for His purposes.

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.” 1 Peter 4:10
