World-renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli gives thanks to mothers everywhere with the official lyric video for ‘Mamma.’ Originally performed in Italian, the words translate to a stunning testament to our amazing moms.
“Mother, I am very happy
Because I return to you
My song tells you
That it is the most beautiful dream for me”
For decades, Andrea has been showcasing his incredible vocal skills with songs such as ‘The Prayer’ and ‘Time To Say Goodbye.’ After a 14-year hiatus from releasing an album, Andrea produced ‘Si’ in 2018.
This international success proved that the Italian vocalist is still a powerhouse and that the best may be yet to come.
Today, he is celebrating mothers all around the world with the beautiful song, ‘Mamma.’
Just listen as he belts out these words of praise for these special women.
“Mother
But you are the most beautiful song
You are the life
And for the life I will not let you go anymore”
On YouTube, Andrea shared his heartfelt thoughts on the song. "The first word we learn how to say, the first sound to mean something, as if we see in her the heart and the secret of life itself from the start of our earthly adventure: mom!”
What a wonderful way to say thanks to all of the incredible women that have helped to shape our lives.
Proverbs 31: 28-29 “Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.”
This paralyzed toddler miraculously walks out of hospital on his own, despite the bleak outlook on his future.
In early December last year, 2-year-old Alaric Bridgeman told his dad that his back hurt. Most parents wouldn’t be alarmed hearing a complaint like this from their seemingly healthy toddler. So his dad, Dustin, rubbed it a little and moved on.
Then Alaric said his toes were hurting. Dustin knew this was different. He tried to stand his son up to walk, but he fell.
When his mom, Sarah, got home, the parents took their sweet little boy to the hospital. Alaric was immediately transferred to Akron Children’s Hospital.
Poor little Alaric was diagnosed with a spinal cord infection called transverse myelitis. His nerves were being attacked, so he eventually became paralyzed from the neck down.
His mom explained, “He didn’t progress as fast as they would’ve liked. He didn’t make as many steps in the right direction. It actually took him quite a while to start moving, and everybody got a bit concerned at that point.”
His first movement was on December 20th, over 15 days after the initial emergency room visit.
His parents documented his slow progress with short videos here and there. Little Alaric was not giving up! The determination and effort of this little boy are inspiring!
His dad said, “He was in [physical therapy] five, six hours a day every day and never gave up. He’s a fighter.”
After a total of almost two months in the hospital, Alaric walked down a little paper road the hospital staff put together. With his walker, Alaric crossed the finish line under the checkered flags.
Since getting released, Alaric has been progressing at home with the help of his loving family.
Alaric’s smiles and giggles through the whole recovery process warm my heart and remind me of the good in the world. God had a plan for this little boy to walk again, and we will pray for a quick and full recovery!

This 59-year-old opera singer stuns on ‘Spain’s Got Talent,’ and you HAVE to see it!
Even if opera music isn’t your favorite, you’ll be impressed with Juan Carlos Martos’ performance. He auditioned for the 2021 season of ‘Spain’s Got Talent’ a few months ago. The judges and audience were amazed by his musical gift. Two of the judges ended up pressing the golden buzzer together because Juan was THAT incredible.
This stunning video is Juan’s performance from the semi-finals. He definitely brought his A-game and is ready to win the season!
Juan Carlos is almost 60 years old and works in a hospital. Health care workers do God’s work every day, especially throughout the pandemic. He has probably changed many lives and helped thousands of people. But why did he end up in the medical world instead of on stage?
Taking a step back in life and thinking, “huh, maybe this is what I’m meant to do” takes loads of courage. Walking on that stage in an attempt to change his life is inspiring. And he should have been performing on stages around the world for decades before his audition!
In the video, Juan Carlos is accompanied by five instrumentalists including a piano player, although it’s difficult to pay attention to anyone else! The background seems to be a bunch of different windows of different colors. Most of the stage is dark except for lights on the musicians and of course, a spotlight on Juan.
Just when you think Juan’s talent has hit its limit, he hits a note one step higher and holds it one beat longer. The judges were endlessly impressed as they have been after every one of his performances throughout the competition.
Clearly, this man was put on this planet to perform and share his gift with international audiences. Just announce him as the winner! We are all ready for it!

A couple of homeowners were stunned to find a 19th Century hidden tunnel under their home.
Maybe stunned is an understatement. Gary and Beth Machens made the shocking discovery only by chance. Their sidewalk began buckling and in the process of dealing with that they saw something odd. There was an opening leading to an old tunnel that was still in great condition.
“There’s the opening we have to shimmy into,” Gary said, commenting on the tunnel’s small entry point.
The tunnel featured a brick archway. One one end had the small opening the couple used to get inside, and on the other end was a just large pile of dirt.
“There’s a pile of dirt here,” the husband said simply.
The Machens have no idea what the tunnel wsas for, but have learned that the structure can be traced back to 1895.
The find was odd for sure, and for some would have been disconcerting. Just imagine, finding a secret building beneath the place you call home. A home beneath a home, or a tunnel, or anything - that’s definitely not everyone’s cup of tea for sure.
The Machens were not the only people discovering odd things inside their home.
One Massachusetts homeowner hired treasure hunter Keith Wille to help her find treasure she suspected was stashed in the house decades ago by a relative. Keith was successful, finding a box of money totalling $46k in the attic. The box was buried beneath the floorboard, and tucked under additional pieces of wood. Keith found the box using a metal detector.
The find came just in time as the homeowner was preparing to move. Now she can take some of that money with her.
Not everyone can claim to have the experience of these homeowners. Sometimes we buy or rent homes and there’s nothing fascinating to find. Maybe that’s good. One thing’s for sure, every property has history. Even if we don’t find hidden treasure, maybe one day we will be the one to leave something behind for a later occupant to discover.
This a cappella group sings a medley of our favorite 90s TV songs, and I almost cried when the nostalgia settled in!
Voctave is an a cappella group from Florida that was formed in 2015 by their producer/arranger, Jamey Ray. Even though their voices blend so magically, each member brings a special spark to the group. There are 11 members that all have different musical backgrounds.
Their range of backgrounds also creates a range of music. Their seven albums have songs from Broadway to Disney to our favorite TV show songs.
A few of the most popular songs in their mashup video include ‘Winnie the Pooh’ and ‘Muppet Babies.’ In the Muppet song, there are some spot-on Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy impressions, guaranteed to impress!
The Pooh song is from ‘The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh’ which aired from the late ’80s into ‘91. The sparkly little tune was written by Steve Nelson and originally sung by Steve Wood. I wonder if they knew their song would one day induce severe childhood nostalgia!
Much like the 90s fashion trends, the video has colors EVERYWHERE! The members are in different colored boxes move around the screen depending on who is featured during the tune.
The best setup is when one of the members is in a large box in the middle and all the others are in smaller boxes around that one because in most of the video, not every member was on the screen at once.
The music arrangement is incredible. Once you realize what show the song is from, they seamlessly transition into the next song.
Definitely watch this if you want to reminisce about simpler times and possibly shed a tear or two.
