The servant is not greater than his lord

The servant is not greater than his lord
These things I command you, that ye love one another. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. John 15:17-21

Parable of the Mustard Seed

Parable of the Mustard Seed

" Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof."
Matthew 13:31-32

Champion Figure Skaters Defy Gravity With Stunning Routine

Check out these champion figure skaters defy gravity with their stunning routine! Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron are Olympic medalists and four-time figure skating world champions. The pair has been dancing on the ice together since 2009 when they were just 9 and 10 years old! In this performance, you can see them bending backwards with their hands delicately skimming the surface of the ice. Their moves are so graceful and beautiful as they glide across the ice so effortlessly. It is clear that Gabriella and Guillaume completely trust and support each other. After skating together for so long, the two have developed an incredibly strong bond. It is why they are able to do such complex moves and pirouettes as they spin together on the ice. “So incredibly talented,” someone comments on the Facebook video. “I could watch them for hours!” “They are surreal. Absolutely love them,” writes another person online. “Poetry in motion when you watch them compete.” The skaters are definitely mesmerizing to watch them, and their ballet-like moves are breathtaking. Their movements are beautifully expressive, and they make the whole thing look effortless! We hope you enjoyed this amazing routine full of grace, beauty, and strength! 1 Corinthians 10:9-13 9 We must not put Christ to the test, as some of them did and were destroyed by serpents, 10 nor grumble, as some of them did and were destroyed by the Destroyer. 11 Now these things happened to them as an example, but they were written down for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come. 12 Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall. 13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

The Parable of the Soils

The Parable of the Soils
Luke 8:4-15
4 And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable:
5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.
7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.
8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
9 And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?
10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

Police Officer Breaks Window To Save Baby In Sweltering Car

A police officer broke a window to save a baby from a sweltering car. One of the most tragic of circumstances is losing a life before it ever had a chance to begin. Thanks to quick thinking, officer, Christain Pinilla, he kept one little girl's life from being lost prematurely. It was a hot, sweltering day in Duncanville, Texas when dispatch put through a 9-1-1 call from a concerned woman. She could see there was a baby girl, strapped in her car seat in a locked Suburban SUV. By the time he had arrived on the scene, the hot Texas heat had already risen from 93 degrees to 123 degrees inside the car. Immediately, the Officer checked every door before deciding to break one of the front windows. The worst part for Officer Christain and bystanders was listening to the baby girl’s pleas for help and crying because she was scared, alone, and already showing signs of heat exhaustion. The United States Department says the majority of hot car deaths — 54% — happen because someone forgets a child in a car. In 2019 alone, 53 deaths were recorded and had it not been for Officer Christain, this little girl could have become just another number. You may be asking yourself, “How does this happen?” But families who’ve lost a loved one thought the same thing at one point, but then the unthinkable tragedy happened to them. What seemed like minutes later, the mother arrived in a panic. She thought her child had already been taken out of the carseat. However, she was distracted which is an all-to-common issue. The officer also said it doesn’t matter how inconvenient it is or how quick you think you’re going to run an errand, never leave a baby in a car seat. Thank God for officers like Christain who serve our communities selflessly on a daily basis. And if you see an officer, shake their hand. If you see a baby in a trapped car, don’t wait until it’s too late! God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

Sadie Robertson Fell To Her Knees And Thanked God After Positive Pregnancy Test

Sadie Robertson fell to her knees and thanked God after a positive pregnancy test! Sadie Robertson Huff and her husband Christian Huff recently shared the exciting news of her pregnancy. They said that they were not actively trying for a baby, but they believed that God would reveal the right time for Sadie to get pregnant. So they were a little surprised but also very excited to learn they would be having their first child together. Sadie went on to reveal that Christian was all on board with having a kid, but that she herself was still a little hesitant on whether it was the right time, and she had some mixed feelings. The couple shared that the first sign that something was off was Sadie’s appetite. Typically she doesn’t really eat that much until the evening. But she was now waking up hungry. Another sign that she may be expecting was she had these dreams where the Lord was speaking to her. Sadie shared that this dream led her to take a test. She didn’t take it very seriously though, she did not expect much from it. But ultimately, Sadie decided to take the pregnancy test. In disbelief, she then went on to take multiple tests just to make sure that the positive results were accurate! “I had tears coming down my eyes, and I was just like ‘God this is great, this is the coolest thing ever. I can’t believe I am pregnant!’” she shared. Then she said that this was the happiest and most excited that she had ever felt. Sadie then realized that she was gonna have to break the news to Christian, and wasn’t quite sure how she was gonna do it. She finally had the idea to use the drawings that Christian made that she kept. He drew children’s riddles and songs. Sadie took the pregnancy test and put it under the drawing that he shared. She told him that when he got home they were going to film a video together. When Christian got home she was already recording the video, and she revealed the pregnancy test from under the paper. He was very shocked, and it was so cute how this sweet couple’s blessed news was recorded on video. They truly do have a blessing from God, and hopefully many more in the future!

Russian Boys’ Choir Stun The Internet With Sublime Performance

Check out this incredible performance by a Russian boys’ choir that stunned the internet. The video starts off with the boys in the chorus humming some heavenly notes in an ornate church. They sound so good they almost sound like a choir of angels! Then the camera pans over to the door of the church where a young boy starts singing some beautiful high notes. Later, a tall boy standing in the front of the choir starts to sing and he has such a strong, deep voice. His low notes carry across the church and bounce off the walls of the building, creating this lovely echo effect. The mix of the low notes and the high notes being sung by the boys mixes so well together and fills up the church in a beautiful way. Then the rest of the choir joins in, and the sound is so full and powerful. What an incredible performance! At the end of the song, the people in the church give the boys choir a round of applause. We hope you enjoyed this video and it was able to brighten your day for a few moments! 1 John 4:7-12 7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
