This 80-year-old drummer is going viral after his incredible performance earned the golden buzzer on Central Asia’s Got Talent.
There are a lot of people that think when you reach a certain age, you are unable to participate in physical activities or truly enjoy life. But I think that we all know that is farthest from the truth. And this man is setting out to prove everyone wrong as he auditions for the popular Asian talent competition.
Just watch as this elderly gentlemen steps onto stage and sits down at the drums. He stops off relatively slow, but then, out of nowhere, he starts to pick up the pace and really show off his skills.
Without missing a beat, listen as this man drums along with the music as the crowd looks on in awe. He truly made this performance look so easy. But his talent was not lost on the audience.
Before the performance was even over, one of the judges was moved to stand up and press the coveted golden buzzer. This means that the drummer will automatically move on in the competition and we will see another incredible routine.
This 80-year-old is proof that if we set our minds to it and have a goal, this is no limit to what we can achieve. He is such an inspiration to so many all around the world and I’m definitely looking forward to what he does next.

After over 66 years apart, these twins separated at birth are finally reunited. Jenny Wilson and Kath Millns are both 76 years old.
For decades, they lived just miles away from each other and not knowing that they were related. When their mother was pregnant, she made the difficult decision to give the twins up for adoption.
One of the girls was adopted by a family friend and the other was adopted by a couple mere miles away. When she was a teen, Jenny discovered that she had a sister. “From the age of 11 I had known that somewhere out there I had a twin. I always hoped that one day she would knock on the door and find me, but that of course never happened.”
It wasn’t until Jenny’s daughter made a post on social media that a television program helped the woman locate her long-lost twin. And to both of the women’s surprise, they were closer than they ever imagined. Jenny said, “It is mad to think that for all those years, she was just a 20 minute drive away from me. We’re registered at the same doctors and everything.”
Now, the two sisters spend much of their free time together. From shopping, visiting, and chatting on the phone, Jenny and Kath aren’t wasting a single moment. Kath remarked on the incredible situation saying, “My life has been changed for the better ever since Jenny and I were finally reunited.”
What a beautiful end to story that was decades in the making.
America’s Got Talent winner Kodi Lee performs a beautiful musical tribute to TobyMac’s late son, Truett Foster.
On October 23, 2019, the 21-year-old son of Christian superstar TobyMac passed away. Truett was an aspiring artist and had already released songs on his own along with collaborations with his father. His death came as a surprise to all and when the news broke, the world’s heart broke.
AGT alumni Kodi Lee was set to perform at Liberty University’s convocation when they received the sad news. TobyMac is a graduate of Liberty and has performed at convocation numerous times.
We learned that at his last performance, he shared a special song that Truett was working on. Liberty leaders decided to play the song for Kodi Lee and it led to a beautiful introduction into the Christian song ‘I Can Only Imagine.’

It was truly an emotional moment as Kodi Lee belted out these beautiful words. Our hearts ache for TobyMac and his family as they walk through this difficult path but we rest easier knowing that Truett in now safe in the arms of the Lord.

A lot of people think that when you reach a certain age, you are unable to participate in physical activities or truly energy life. Veteran Lt. Col. Maggie DeSanti served as a nurse during the Vietnam War.
Recently, she was at the airport in Phoenix, Arizona for a flight to Washington D.C. through the Honor Flight organization. This non-profit helps veterans fly to the Capitol to visit the monuments.
Maggie came decked out in her Army uniform and ready to prove that she was still fit for serve. While going through security, she challenged the TSA agent to a pushup challenge. The younger gentlemen accepted and the two got down on the floor and started to push out reps.
Everyone was in awe when Maggie had no problem completing ten pushups. This is just another example of why age really is just a state of mind.
This 84-year-old is living proof that if we keep things moving and take care of our bodies, we too can be moving easily long after we reach ‘over the hill’ status. She is such an inspiration to everyone watching and definitely put a big smile on my face!
We are so thankful for the brave men and women, like Maggie, who served and continue to serve our country. When I am this age, I hope that I have half as much energy as this incredible veteran!
