Savanna Shaw's Soul-Stirring Cover Of 'I Will Always Love You' By Whitney Houston

The incredibly talented Savanna Shaw turned in a soul-stirring and awe-inspiring cover performance of Whitney Houston’s massive hit, “I Will Always Love You.”

The late Whitney Houston was a legendary singer who was blessed with an unreal, angelic voice. She could reach, hit and hold notes that many other musicians can only dream of. She demonstrated her unbelievable level of talent throughout her decades-long career. She scored hit after hit, with such songs as “I Wanna Dance with Somebody,” “Greatest Love of All” and “Didn’t We Almost Have It All.”

However, the song most closely associated with Whitney Houston is “I Will Always Love You.” Of course, that is a tune that Dolly Parton originally wrote and released back in the 1970s, according to People.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Savanna, without her talented singer father, Mat, puts on a solo demonstration. She gives a beautiful performance of the Whitney Houston and Dolly Parton tune.

As she does with everything she sings, Savanna knocks this cover out of the park. It’s an absolutely fantastic performance that shows off her control and strength of her voice. While it may not be at the level of Whitney Houston, this cover is still an enjoyable listen. It should be played repeatedly to appreciate the level of Savanna’s vocal talent.

“And I

Will always love you

I will always love you

I will always love you”

As mentioned earlier, Savanna typically performs with her father. They both continually turn in spectacular performances. Everything the duo puts out is worth a listen or two or three. However, I’m sure most people would not have a problem if Savanna decided to do more of these solo-type performances.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Young Woman Exemplifies Love As Lifelong Caregiver For Her Brother With Rare Disorder

Victor Pauca is 18 and living with an incredibly rare condition. Francesca Pauca, 21, is his sister and is one of his caregivers. In this YouTube video, we get to hear their story.

Victor’s parents started to notice that he wasn’t reaching his developmental milestones when he was about six months old. He was then diagnosed with Pitt-Hopkins Syndrome at 2.5 years old.

Pitt-Hopkins is an autism spectrum disorder that causes developmental delays and he was one of the first people in the world to be diagnosed with it. Pitt-Hopkins is caused by a mutation of the gene, TCF4 on the 18th chromosome.

Francesca talks about how the day-to-day with Victor is a team effort by her family. “Different people take on different tasks,” she says. “One by one we pick it all up and we do it together.”

Although Victor used to eat by mouth. Now, however, he requires four feedings with a feeding tube per day. His health can also be unstable and he has ended up in the hospital, but Francesca is right there with him through it all.

Victor is nonverbal but he can communicate either nonverbally or through using different sounds that his family can understand. He does sometimes use a touch-chat. The family talks to Victor like he is any other 18-year-old boy.

The family also includes him in household chores. You can see a clip of him doing laundry.

Francesca goes to Princeton as a psychology major. She plans to return home after graduating college to care for Victor. She says she has been planning to do so for a long time. “It’s the only life I know,” she says when talking about taking care of him.

“I am 21 years old and I’ll be my brother’s caregiver in the future.”

While her parents still plan to be his caregiver for a few more decades, both she and her sister are committed to being his caregivers in the future. What an amazing thing for a sibling to do.

The family has also started the Pitt-Hopkins Research Foundation to help others.

Francesca took to social media to educate others about how fulfilling caregiving can be. She says, “I would want them to know that the work that they're doing, especially caregiving, is important and it’s beautiful and it’s appreciated.”

Francesca and her family are not only showing love to their brother, but connecting with their community, and others to help them in their own caregiving journeys. She is quite the inspiration!

“And the King shall answer and say to them, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you have done it to one of the least of these my brothers, you have done it to me.” - Matthew 25:4

Cat Given 6 Months To Live Beats The Odds And Is Now Cancer Free

Princess Charming was given just six months to live. But now she is cancer-free and is thriving.

In this YouTube video, we get to hear the story of Princess Charming and her new owner, Sath. Sath, tells us that she was scrolling on Instagram and found a post about a very sad cat that was living on the streets. She was found by some neighbors and they noticed that she had a wound on her leg.

It turned out to be an aggressive sarcoma and the neighbors raised money to have her leg amputated. The cancer was going to come back, and she would pass away soon. She couldn’t go back on the streets.

Sath decided to adopt Princess Charming in April of 2022. “At that very moment I knew my purpose,” she says about adopting the cat. “I just wanted her to have like an easy transition before she left Earth.”

While Sath didn’t know exactly what to do with a cat on hospice, she planned to just give her love and help her have a normal experience of being a cat. Slowly the cat became more and more comfortable with Sath as she showed her the love and care that she needed.

When Princess Charming outlived the timeline the vet had given her, Sath took her in for x-rays and was in for a surprise. The cancer was gone. It was a real miracle.

“At that moment I had a sense of gratitude and I knew. I knew that it was the love that healed her.” She also talks about how it was confirmation that God and miracles existed. And there is so much truth to that.

What a lovely turn of events for Princess Charming and Sath. During the video, you can see how much the two of them have bonded and how great the cat’s new life is now that she has a loving home of her own.

Father's Emotional Reaction To Daughter's SAT Score Captivates

One father reacted emotionally, unable to contain his joy and excitement about his daughter’s recent SAT scores.

All parents want their children to be happy and to succeed in whatever they choose to do in life. Sometimes that is not always the case, as moms and dads know very well. Children, at times, will fail, fall and stumble. It happens to everyone, and it’s especially painful to watch when it happens to your child.

It's because of those heartbreaking times when parents see their children unhappy or fail that makes their child’s wins that much more enjoyable. I guess it’s true, we wouldn’t know happiness or joy if not for sadness and grief.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one was blown away after hearing that his daughter received a stunning score on the SAT. The happy family is sitting down at the table, enjoying a meal together when the young woman tells her father the good news.

This was the girl’s second attempt at the SAT. Her first try was higher than what a lot of people score on the standardized test. She mentions that this time, she did better than her original 1510 score.

When she finally tells her dad her 1590 score, he loses his mind, screaming and shouting at the top of his lungs.

“No way! No way! Are you kidding me? You’re not kidding me?” the proud father responds.

Everyone in the room laughs at the father’s reaction to the unbelievably good news.

The clip ends with the father telling his daughter, “Congratulations seems like not enough. That’s amazing Alyssa.”

What a sweet and genuine reaction from an obviously loving and supportive father who wants nothing but the best for his daughter.

Also, what child, even though they might be embarrassed at the time, wouldn’t want their parents to react this way to their good news?

Proverbs 22:6 “If a child is trained up in the right way, even when he is old he will not be turned away from it.”

Candace Cameron Bure And Kirk Cameron Share Insights On The Power Of Prayer

Kirk Cameron and his little sister Candace Cameron Bure shared their thoughts and insights about the importance and power of prayer.

Praying to God is a vital and necessary component of being a Christian. Consistent and honest communication is a must for any relationship to grow and prosper, and that includes our relationship with the Creator of the universe. Through this act of communicating with the Lord, we grow in knowledge and the wisdom of God.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Candace and Kirk point out how and when Christians should reach out to God and why it’s such an important act. Sometimes, as Candace points out, it’s not even about what we say while praying but simply that act of praying that is important.

“God doesn’t always answer prayers the way we want Him to,” Candace said. “But it’s so important because it not only connects us to Him, but it’s just saying, ‘Lord, I am dependent upon you no matter, no matter what happens.”’

Also, in the segment, Candace admits that while she enjoys praying and conversing with God, she is someone who will not volunteer to pray out loud at big gatherings.

“I am not one of these spiritual super powerhouse prayer people verbally,” she said. “Like, I love praying, but, you know, I’m not going to stand up and say, ‘Let me pray for all of you,’ because, you know, I don’t feel as confident in that.”

However, despite her apprehension about praying at large gatherings, Candace says that she's seen God answer prayers repeatedly throughout her life.

“But I pray so much and I see God answer so many things, to the smallest, tiny things, and sometimes really big things,” she added.

Prayer is something that followers of Christ should be engaged in daily. He wants to hear from us and know what’s weighing on our hearts and minds.

Romans 12:12 “Being glad in hope, quiet in trouble, at all times given to prayer,”

Deputy And Track Coach's Heroic Actions Save Student's Life

A Florida sheriff’s deputy and a high school track coach’s heroic and quick-thinking actions helped to save a student’s life who unexpectedly collapsed.

Life can dramatically change in an instant and without any notice. A loved one here one minute could be gone the next. Life is a precious gift from God that must be cherished, honored and protected in any and every way imaginable. We never know when we or someone close to us has breathed their last breath.

That was almost the case for a high school student in Florida who almost took his last breaths. Footage from the deputy’s body camera shows the law enforcement official sprinting on a track to a young man who had collapsed.

Immediately after getting to the scene, the deputy gives a woman, track coach Lauren Palek, kneeling next to the student, directions on what actions to take.

“You get the breaths,” Deputy Deena Biland says. “I’ll get the chest, OK?”

Deputy Biland and Lauren start performing the life-saving maneuver, working furiously on the young man who has stopped breathing.

Eventually, all their work paid off as the young man regained a pulse and started breathing once again.

As the video shows, Deputy Biland and Lauren were both able to stay calm despite the intense, life-or-death situation. In an interview following their heroic actions, both pointed to their training in allowing them to remain calm and know what to do.

The video posted on YouTube states that even before the deputy was on the scene, Lauren had started chest compressions.

“I just focused on counting and relying on what I learned in the training, which I think, obviously, was very valuable,” Lauren said.

Amazingly, less than 24 hours after collapsing and having to be revived, the 17-year-old was back up on his feet.

Thank God for the quick-thinking and heroic actions of Deputy Biland and Lauren. They saved a young man’s life!

Proverbs 24:11 “Be the savior of those who are given up to death, and do not keep back help from those who are slipping to destruction.”

I Built an Altar and Cried Out to God

Experience the power of faith and resilience in our latest video. Join us as we share a deeply personal story from our time as missionaries in East Africa. In a foreign land, faced with unfamiliar healthcare resources, Margaret fell seriously ill with pneumonia. As her condition worsened, we found ourselves at a loss for where to turn. With her health rapidly declining, I made a pivotal decision: to build an altar by her bedside and devote the entire night to fervent prayer. Throughout the night, Margaret's coughing echoed through the guest house, matched only by my cries to God for her healing. It was a night of intense spiritual warfare, where sleep eluded us all. But as dawn broke, hope emerged. We were able to secure medical assistance for Margaret, marking the beginning of a challenging journey home—a journey prolonged by her weakened state. This experience tested not only our faith but also our unwavering commitment to our calling. Join us as we recount this poignant moment of faith, resilience, and the unyielding power of prayer. Genius 2-Year-Old Amazes With His Skill For Quickly Solving Math Problems

One highly intelligent young man, a 2-year-old, possesses quite the impressive skill of quickly solving math problems.

In school, most people had at least some classes they seemed to have a natural aptitude in and picked up the lessons easily and quickly. That may have been history, English or even shop class. For whatever reason, the knowledge and skills dispensed in those courses were acquired easily, with little effort.

But on the other hand, everyone had other courses that weren’t as easy. Courses like science, health and math may have given you fits, and even with extra study and practice, it still didn’t click. For me, that was always math. Working with numbers was always something that I struggled with mightily.

However, one young man, in a video posted on Instagram, demonstrates his genius-level intelligence and grasp of math and mathematical concepts. In the video, the 2-year-old stands at a whiteboard with a handful of problems written on it.

The little guy then approaches and while talking and mumbling to himself, quickly moves down the board, filling in the answers. His swift pace would be impressive for someone much older than him, but considering he’s only 2 years old, it’s simply astounding.

After he writes in his answers, the young man is all smiles. He also has his own personal cheering section. Two people out of frame are heard clapping for the little guy, exclaiming, “Good job!”

God has blessed everyone with different skills, talents and interests. He expects us to use those gifts to bring glory and honor to His name. Whatever He gives us, He expects a return, especially when it comes to our God-given gifts and talents. After all, what good is a gift if it’s never opened and used?

Four Women Who Were Friends In High School Reunite At The Same Retirement Home

Four women who were friends in high school, back in the 1950s, have now been reunited because they all live at the same retirement home.

Life is all about relationships. No one was made to experience life all by themselves. We all require connection with other human beings. Even the most standoffish and anti-social individual wants someone who knows and understands them.

One of the most important types of relationships we’ll ever form in life is friendships. Friends are special people who are shoulders to cry on when times get tough. They give a word of encouragement when needed, and they are there to celebrate some of life’s special moments and milestones.

However, unfortunately, whether due to time or distance, some friendships can fade and cease to exist. But others are strong enough to withstand such hurdles, including four women who went to the same California high school in the 1950s. Despite the time that may have passed, four elderly women remain friends. They now live at the same retirement center.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the women reminisced about their high school days.

“We had a prom every year,” Joan Harris said. “We had a girls basketball team. And we played other Catholic girls’ high schools. We had typing, and we had music and art.”

While in their advanced age, the women understand just how valuable and important friendship is now. Their time together means everything to them.

“I think friendship is very important,” Sylvia Crane said. “And having old friends is wonderful. There’s so many of us that are gone. It’s very important to me to know that I still have these three wonderful women around me.”

What a heartwarming story about friendship that has endured and withstood the test of time!

Proverbs 18:24 “A man of many companions may be ruined, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”

Rock Legend Jon Bon Jovi Has Sweet Moment With His Daughter On Stage

Legendary musician Jon Bon Jovi had a sweet and moving moment with his daughter on stage during one of his concerts.

No parent wants to see their children grow up. If mom and dad had their choice, their children would remain little for as long as possible. As all parents know and understand, that is not possible. Childhood passes too quickly because children have a nasty habit of growing up, moving out and starting their own lives.

As one video posted on YouTube shows, even Rock & Rock Hall of Fame members long for the days when their children were still little. During a 2017 concert in Las Vegas, Jon brought his daughter, Stephanie, up on stage.

At around the 2:55-minute mark of the clip, Jon mentions how everyone has a precious little girl in their life. Because of time, they don’t stay little for long.

Jon adds that his once little girl, Stephanie, is not so little anymore. She has grown up, much to Jon’s dismay. Jon and the band then move into the song “I Got the Girl,” according to See It Live.

During the performance, the "Livin’ on a Prayer” singer starts looking behind him. At one point, Jon even motions for someone to come up on stage, saying, “Come over here.”

Moments later, Jon’s daughter appears on stage and the two dance together. At the song’s end, Jon grabs his daughter and gives her several kisses on the face, and then the two share a loving and heartwarming embrace.

The crowd goes wild. They show their appreciation by giving a thunderous round of applause and cheers as they take in the sweet moment between a loving father and his daughter.

Enjoy the time you have with your children because it does not last forever. Those are some of life’s most precious moments.

Judge Caprio Says Perseverance Key To Overcoming Early Struggles

“If you could describe yourself in one word, what would it be?” the interviewer asks Frank Caprio, a well-loved American judge and politician.

Frank responds, “Aggressive” and the interviewer asks why he answered with that word.

He replies, “I feel that being aggressive was the reason why that I was able to overcome whatever material and financial problems that we had as a family when I was younger.”

Frank also talks about how he came from a poor family and had to work very hard. He does say that perseverance is probably a better word and changes his answer.

And what a great answer that is! No matter what our lives might bring, perseverance is the key. We can get through most things with that in mind.

We should also be depending on God and asking for prayer to help us persevere through whatever challenges might come our way.

Frank served as the Chief Judge of the Municipal Court of Providence, RI, and as the Chairman of the Rhode Island Board of Governors for Higher Education. You can also see him on the televised program, “Caught in Providence.”

Frank’s videos have gone viral and he has his own YouTube channel

Sadly, in December of 2023, he announced that he had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. During the video where he announces this, he also asks for the community to pray for him. He recently gave an update on his treatments, which he gets every two weeks.

We want to pray for Frank as he fights cancer. He has inspired so many over the years, and we know that he will use perseverance for this current struggle as he has in the past.

What a great reminder for all of us to continue to pray, and persevere, through all of life’s challenges.

“And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience. And patience, experience; and experience, hope. And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” - Romans 5:3-5

Entire Gym Erupts In Cheers After Child With Down Syndrome Scores A Basket

A gym of spectators, teammates and opponents showed love and kindness to a young woman with Down syndrome when she scored her first basket.

For a lot of people, sports are a deadly serious subject. They want their team, whether in the high school, collegiate or professional rankings, to perform well. Wins and losses, for the most part, are the only statistic that matters to many fans. Sportsmanship and kindness during the heat of competition often fall by the wayside.

That was not the case during a basketball game between two teams of young women. A video posted on TikTok captures the sweet moment when a young woman with Down syndrome scores a basket – her first – during the game. The young woman’s unbridled joy and how the entire gym of spectators reacts is so heartwarming!

In the video posted by the young woman’s mother, the text explains the situation.“My Girl #24 has Down’s Syndrome & hasn’t scored all season. Score 0-0…she’s up…U GOTTA WATCH!!,” the text reads.

As the video starts, no. 24 is led out onto the floor by one of her teammates. The little girl is placed a few feet away from the basket as another one of her teammates prepares to inbound the ball.

The basketball eventually finds its way into the hands of the little girl and she shoots several times, desperately trying to put the ball in the basket. This all happens as children on the other team continue to allow the little girl to shoot and try for a basket.

Then, at around the 1:15-minute mark of the clip, no. 24 puts the ball in the basket, sending the entire gym into a frenzy!

What an incredible act of sportsmanship, kindness and love. That’s likely a moment she’ll cherish for the rest of her life.

Colossians 3:12 “Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance.”

Generous Customer Leaves Michigan Café Massive $10,000 Tip

One customer blessed a café in Michigan by leaving the restaurant a massive $10,000 tip.

Many people are struggling and fighting to make it through each week. Money can be tight and hard to come by, especially when bills pile up. Add to this situation car trouble, a broken water heater or some other unexpected expense, and an already tight financial circumstance becomes much worse.

Even if you’re not in dire financial straits or strapped for cash, finances are an area most people consider when making any decision. That’s why one man’s generous move was so stunning and unexpected but deeply appreciated.

In a video posted on YouTube, one man who wished to remain anonymous secretly left his waitress at a Michigan café a $10,000 tip after enjoying breakfast.

The clip adds that the man’s generous move came after he had attended a friend’s memorial service. He blessed the waitress with the money to honor his late friend.

The waitress, Linsey Boyd, was understandably overwhelmed and overjoyed after seeing the large number.

“I just gave him a hug,” Linsey said. “I didn’t even know his name at that point, but I gave him a hug.”

The man also gave Linsey directions on what to do with the huge tip. He told her to share it with her coworkers, which Linsey did without thinking twice.

Kindness can come from anyone and anywhere. It may not always be a $10,000 tip, but showing kindness and love can make a big difference in someone’s life.

We can always be kinder and more loving to our fellow man. We might not be able to surprise and bless someone with thousands of dollars, but small acts here and there can have a big impact.

Luke 6:38 “Give and it will be given to you; good measure, crushed down, full and running over, they will give to you. For in the same measure as you give, it will be given to you again.”

Candace Cameron Bure And Julie Chen Moonves On How God Uses Our Rejections and Failures

Julie Chen Moonves appeared on Candace Cameron Bure’s podcast, where they discussed how God often uses our failures and stumbles to teach, redirect and mold us.

Failing at anything, no matter how many times it may happen, is never a fun experience. There will never be an instance when we stumble and fall and think, “That was a good time, let’s do that again.” However, God can and does use these times when we fall short as opportunities to teach and lead us into the correct and better direction and path.

The short clip begins with Julie talking about how she experienced early career failure and rejection for several years. It took her four years of constant rejection before she got an on-air reporting opportunity.

But instead of becoming bitter about her early career troubles, Julie believes God used that and every other time she has experienced hardship during her career for a purpose.

“You know, I feel like my whole career in life was dealing with rejection that was meant to be, that ended up landing me where on the path that God had already planned,” Julie said.

Candace added that during times of rejection and failure, we grow. It makes us stronger and builds character.

The short clip ends with Julie sharing words of wisdom told to her by a friend about God's response in times of rejection and failure.

“Someone said to me recently, ‘God has three answers: Yes, wait and instead of no, it’s I’ve got something better,”’ Julie said.

Rejection and failure will always be difficult. But as the ladies so astutely point out, failure is an opportunity for growth and a chance for God to work in our lives, directing and molding us into the person He wants us to be.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, said the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

A Cappella Group Nashville Music Medics Provide Uplifting Tunes To Hospital Patients

A barbershop quartet, the Nashville Music Medics, who received their training at the Barbershop Harmony Society, don scrubs as they use music to provide hospital patients with happiness and a bit of escapism.

Most of the time, the hospital is never a fun place to visit. The only reason someone would look forward to a trip to the hospital would be to celebrate a birth and cover the newborn in hugs and kisses. At any other time, hospitals are a place most people want to avoid at all costs.

However, there are times when avoiding a trip to the hospital is not possible. Going to a medical facility, being seen by a doctor and being attended to by a group of dedicated nurses is usually the first step in curing a problem or an ailment. Nevertheless, no one enjoys a stay in the hospital, and they need some cheering up from time to time.

That’s where the Nashville Music Medics come in, treating patients to the sweet sounds of their a cappella performances. A clip posted on YouTube explains that the men who make up the group come from all walks of life. Some are former military members, salesmen and civil engineers, but no doctors.

However, despite their diverse backgrounds, the men are brought together by their mission to bring smiles to the faces of those who need it most.

In addition to singing at hospitals, the guys perform at schools and community groups, the short clip states.

But the Nashville Music Medics are not the only a cappella group singing to bring healing and happiness to others. The video mentions there are 35 music medics in the United States.

What a terrific mission! Who doesn’t want to hear a happy, uplifting tune when they are a little down in the dumps and looking for a reason to smile?

Ephesians 5:19 “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;”

‘Young Sheldon’ Character Delivers Compelling Argument For God’s Existence

Sheldon Cooper, the main character in the popular television series Young Sheldon, made a compelling and persuasive argument for the existence of God.

Hollywood is not a place known to be friendly to Christians or those who believe in and worship the Creator. Most of the time it’s the exact opposite. Television shows and movies generally paint characters who do believe in God as dumb and simple-minded. They are usually the butt of many jokes.

However, Sheldon Cooper is anything but a simpleton. Anyone with a passing familiarity with either The Big Bang Theory or Young Sheldon knows this to be true. Sheldon is a genius and is very proud of that fact. He’s also quick to inform those around him of his superior intelligence, which often rubs people the wrong way, as is to be expected.

The character Sheldon Cooper is an atheist. However, despite his unbelief, he makes a compelling case for the existence of God, bringing up several scientific facts. In a clip from Young Sheldon posted on Facebook, Sheldon sits on the porch with his mother while the two gaze up into the sky.

The scene begins with Sheldon asking his mother if she still believes in God. She supplies her genius son with a non-answer, telling him that it is none of his concern.

He then rattles off facts about gravity being exactly as it needs to be for life to exist on Earth.

“It’s just that gravity is precisely as strong as it needs to be,” Sheldon says to his mother. “And if the ratio of the electromagnetic force to the strong force wasn’t 1%, life wouldn’t exist. What are the odds that would happen all by itself?”

“The precision of the universe at least makes it logical to conclude there’s a Creator,” Sheldon adds.

The tear-jerking scene ends with Sheldon and his mother sharing a loving embrace. As she hugs her son, she looks up at the sky as if to signal her continued belief in God.

What a beautiful and surprising scene from a popular television program that makes the argument for the existence of God.

Teacher Instills Money Skills In Elementary Students Through ‘Rent’ Lessons

One teacher is instilling money skills and financial literacy into her elementary students by requiring them to pay her “rent.”

Money, as everyone knows, is a vital component of life. It’s something all people need to survive and function in society. Money is a huge motivating factor, often driving everyday decisions. What and where we buy, how we spend our free time and occupations are all driven by money to a certain extent.

Understanding money and knowing how to properly save and budget are necessary knowledge and skills that will benefit someone for their entire life. Sadly, many people do not possess those skills or that know-how, which can complicate life in many ways.

One woman, Shelby Lattimore, a third-grade teacher in Charlotte, North Carolina, noticed that many people are financially illiterate and sought to change that in the younger generation.

“I saw that there were holes in the sense of, like, they didn’t know what change was,” Shelby said. “They didn’t know what receipts were. They didn’t know to save because for rewards. You know, for the next week or the next week, like, things cost more, and what saving was, they’re budgeting. That’s when I started adding things.”

The clip posted on YouTube shows the children giving Shelby “rent” in the form of play money.

Shelby says the response from parents about her money and financial literacy lessons has been overwhelmingly positive. They are grateful that their youngsters are learning to budget and save money at such a young age.

What an inventive teacher who spotted a need and then found a creative and interesting way to go about teaching her students. When learning is fun and exciting, those are always the lessons and the skills that remain with students.

Actress Scarlett Johansson Treats Dog Looking For Home To 'Spa Day'

Actress and business owner, Scarlett Johansson is being set up on a Dodo dream date! And the two of them seem to have a blast together!

The YouTube video starts in Queens, New York, as we watch Ocean, a 12-year-old pittie, making her way to meet Scarlett. Scarlett is waiting with some cute dog toy roses to give to her for their special day together.

The two meet and Scarlett tells Ocean about what they are doing to do with their time together. She says, “I hear that you're looking to have a ‘me day’” and Ocean looks ready for a day of pampering.

The two make their way to the Outset offices, where Ocean starts her time there with a smoothie. The Outset company offers a line of clean and effective skincare essentials. The company was co-founded by Scarlett and Kate Foster.

Scarlett and Ocean use Outset products during their spa day. They start with a mani-pedi but Ocean seems more interested in her food. Scarlett mentions she made sure to use dog-friendly products with Ocean.

Ocean is super cute, enjoying her fun day. Scarlett comments, “She’s a little couch potato love bug.”

The goal beyond the “me” day was to get Ocean ready to find her forever home. At the end of the video, we do see that shortly after her date with Scarlett, she did find it. She is pictured with her new mom and dad.

As the video closes, Scarlett asks Ocean, “So when was the last time you had a spa day? Is that something that you do, like, once a week?” What a precious pup and so great of Scarlett to take the time to help Ocean have a wonderful day.
