"Sweetheart" - A dog with special needs

Sweetheart, the dog owned by my friend, Annabeth, could not walk. This video shows the results of some prayer and a bit of effort to make a way for her to get up and go!

This segment is from the video, "I want to Explore," Part 2 by Cathy Friedlander.

The Dunaways - Never Gonna Give Up On You

An achingly beautiful song by The Dunaways, called "Never Gonna Give Up On You". I contacted the Dunaways to get the story behind the song, and if I understood correctly it's a true story about two friends. One friend comforted the other during a struggling time in life, and the comfortee, the singer in the song, was eventually led to Christ. But the comforter has not yet fully accepted Christ. But the singer has not given up, and never will give up. Lovely song. From their album "Church In The Kitchen". The song was written by Buddy & Julie Miller.

Miraculous Vision of Jesus

My nephew passed away in June 2007. A few months later I was compiling a book for his mother of photos taken approximately one year prior to his death.

In one particular photo taken from a distance, I decided to use the zoom feature on my computer to get a closer look at his face. The image which appeared next to him was simply astonishing.

Subsequently, I showed numerous people without revealing any background information, circumstances of death, etc...I simply asked: "Tell me what you see in this picture?"

The answers have been nearly unanimous, with people describing "the face, or something resembling the face we know as Jesus."

This miracle has dramatically affected both believers and non-believers. Many have grown in their faith, have been inspired to return to their faith, or are committing themselves to Jesus for the very first time. Even those who are not believers, but sincerely objective, are at minimum amazed by the phenomenon.

These pictures have not been modified in any way, only the zoom feature was used for close-up representation.

Also note, the picture was taken in natural light only. You'll notice no shadows, which can often cause visual distortions and unnatural imagery.

Prophecy upon Malaysia.

I cannot verify who is this prophetess but she seems powerful.
She gives a very near accurate prophecy of what is to become of the political situations in Malaysia.

If there are reports to be a false prophetess, then this will be taken down.

Avery's gift is not just a coincidence. He is blessed to born into a musical family. His Great-grandfather was the extraordinary Maxwell Davis who worked for many years in Los Angeles, California as a tenor saxophone player, producer, arranger composer, songwriter, and band leader. He was known as the Father of the West Coast R&B during the '50s and '60s. Some of the artists he worked with were Etta James, B.B. King, Richard Berry, Johnny "Guitar" Watson, Jesse Belvin, Z.Z. Hill, Percy Mayfield...and he arranged an album featuring Louis Armstrong in 1968 entitled Disney Songs the Satchmo Way. His memory still lives on and Avery is carrying on his legacy by becoming an astounding musician like his Great-grandfather, Maxwell Davis.

The Dunaways - Again And Again

From The Dunaways delightful album "Church In The Kitchen". Loads of catchy tunes on this one. And no contrived musical hooks, just good, genuine music. No vocal gymnastics, none required. Flat-out good ol' gospel music. Talented family, talented band. I highly recommend this album.

This is the first cut from the album, called "Again And Again". I love nostalgic songs that reach back into childhood. This is one of them.

Shara McKee - Wherever I Am

A beautiful song from Shara's album "To Be With You". Taken right out of Psalm 139, part of which goes like this (read the whole chapter on your own!):

7 Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.

His everlasting presence, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, forever, is so comforting. We just need to acknowledge His presence. Sometimes we don't do that. We "lean on our own understanding", and that's when we stumble. We need to remember the first part of Proverbs 3:5, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart". He is there. Wherever we are.

Point Of Grace - You Be The One

This song from Point Of Grace's album "A Thousand Little Things" reminded me of a couple of ministries at my home church. Although I am heavily involved in several ministries at my church, I am not directly involved with either of the ministries that came to my mind. But my wife is. One of the ministries is a mission ministry to orphanages in Guatemala. My wife (that's her at 1:25) has gone on several mission trips to Guatamala. The other is a ministry called Stephen Ministry, which is a ministry that reaches out to hurting people and provides comfort. That's what this song is all about, reaching out to others and "being the one". That may sound a little bit weird, since no one person can "be the one" to carry the weight of the world, other than Jesus. I think the point is that we should not observe hurting people and think to ourselves "someone else will take care of them". No, we are called to step in and do our part. The song is a call to service. A call for compassion.

A beautifully written song by Nicole Witt and Cindy Morgan. I believe the lead vocal on this one is Leigh Capillino.
