This incredible true story will encourage and help anyone going through extreme suffering like divorce, parental alienation, death, bankruptcy, job or business failure, betrayal, depression, confusion, suicidal thoughts, etc
At 15 years old, he is living in a run-down trailer park with his single parent mom, who is having nightmares that he isn’t going to make it in life. In what seems like a miracle, he overcomes his extremely difficult childhood and is being called the next "Zig Ziglar" or great motivational speaker by the time he is 34. By 2007, he is living in a million dollar home with all the toys, the travel, the big income, the notoriety, the “good life”. Shortly after reaching the top, he finds himself miserable and with no peace because he is torn between two loves…God and success. Once the frustration reached its breaking point, he cries out and surrenders to God. The story that begins next is absolutely extraordinary and beyond anything he could have ever imagined...
I'm a member of the listening board for the SongDiscovery sampler CD that comes with Worship Leader magazine. I get to vote on which songs make it on to the CD. I definitely voted for this one, which is on Volume 116. I'll put in a plug here for SongDiscovery and Worship Leader magazine. If you're looking for some fresh worship music by non-mainstream artists, SongDiscovery is the place to be.
Anyway, this is a song written by Raquel Carlson and Chris Clayton called "Wake Us Up", from Raquel's EP "Come Alive". The lyrics inspired me to make this video. Very easy to learn, very easy for a congregation to sing. A song of revival and renewal. Thank you Raquel and Chris for an inspiring song.
Created in May 2014, a must watch testimony about God's ability to restore, one woman's life! It reminds us NEVER TO PUT LIMITS ON WHAT GOD CAN DO!!! I believe this video is a powerful tool that can help many to triumph through the guilt, shame, and disappointment of their past.
This was done with psalm words over it (see "wildflowers" file), then it seemed it might also be a good idea to have a version which would leave the text up to the user. This would work well with such passages as John 3:8 about the wind, or just leave it without text as a background (moving watercolor). Natural mixes of meadow grasses and small wildflowers taken by camera over a billowing colored background, designed to loop.
Fields, trees, and wildflowers surround a central changing frame with historic stained glass Biblical images that relate to each other by the colors and details. This is for background use around Easter, Valentines, Mother's Day, or for other general themes of growth, reflection, or peace. Designed to loop.
See the file "Beatitudes" for a version with text and music.
This could be used as shown for offering or other transitions; or without sound while words guide vocal reading.
Insight: Psalms 18 and 139 are quoted as light streams over a pond, then into an imaginary flower. The light is more heavenly than natural, and the sequence closes with images inspired by Monet, of floating water lilies. Abstract light crystals are used to tie the opening water and closing plant photos together. There is the suggestion of a creative and life-sustaining force beyond our ordinary seeing.

Insight: Passages from psalms 102 and 19 are provided over an accompaniment of wilderness and sky scenery, using an owl from the verses as a reference to the speaker's small place in comparison to the changing heavens that are not even greater than God.
This is a series of images related to New Testament scriptures of incidents where Jesus taught, called to apostles, saved them from a storm, served them, and appeared to them along Lake Galilee. Also cranes kept appearing to me and I learned that in Christian symbolism, they are the enemies of Satan because they are killers of snakes. The flute and cello accompaniment are from a piece by Adolph Jensen.
This nature sequence with a religious piece in piano and cello uses geese on a lake with forest and overhanging trees as a background for psalm quotes.
Also see file "riverscene" for a silent background only version.

Insight: Thoughts about love from world sources are followed by verses from Corinthians 1, as an animated fire of passion symbol is replaced by a cultivated rose garden background.
Could be used as shown for offering or other transitions.
Insight: Stained glass images alternate with nature photos along with text lines placed to coincide with the timing of the lyrics to music by Albert Malotte. This is a video with a solemn feeling, but could be an offertory interlude at other seasons also.
Also see "windowscenes" file for a silent version for use with vocal reading or as a looped background.
Born with a kidney failure, Jonathan Prawiromaruto was forced to live a seemingly impossible life. However, God changed all his doubts into many victories! Now he is living to share the hope that God has given him to others! Enjoy!
