This week, Pastor Dan Wolf continues his study of the Old Testament and starts the book of Hosea. Hosea was a contemporary of Isaiah. Amos, Jonah, and Hosea were prophets in the northern kingdom of Israel, while Isaiah and Micah were prophets in the southern Kingdom of Judah. Hosea is most commonly referred to as the Prophet of Doom. Unlike other prophets, whose prophecies are still to be fulfilled, many of Hosea's prophecies came true in his lifetime.
