Theme:None of us has chosen to be a disciple of Jesus: we each were invited and called to follow. Being a disciple of Jesus often means following Jesus before you know everything you might like to know about Jesus. Sometimes people commit to walk with Jesus before they know the direction in which he is walking. Along the way of discipleship, Jesus promises to gradually open our eyes to who he really is and lead us where God would have us go.

Theme:Jesus' baptism was "from heaven," that is, it was a miraculous moment of divine intervention. If we are to truly be a people from God, then our guidance will come straight from above." In the Christian faith, revelation, insight, truth, comfort, the Christian life itself all comes "from heaven," as a miraculous act of a God who cares enough about us to come to us.
