In this day, people have become less discerning about what is and what is not correct. They don't search the Scriptures to determine if the truth i s being presented. Most don't even read them devotionally, let alone as a guidebook for life and practice.
We are trying to encourage families to stay together. Man and Woman. Christ Jesus Gives us a novel approach. Teach us how to pray. Pray is communicating, it is talking. Jesus said that when you pray say Our Father.
Abba is a term of reverence, an endearment. A good father know the things that his children need. When you link up with Jesus everything that he has comes along to you. His Father becomes your Father eg. Our Father, you are raised just like one of the family. If you don't except Jesus as your Lord and Savior all you will know is an earthly Father. You are only a father by the grace of God. God is OUR Father.
Matthew 6:7-14 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do:for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them:for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. After this manner therefore pray ye:Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
