The number is men..,There will not be an "Antichrist" like figure as for told and believed in Christian worldly rumors . The concept is close, but unreliable to the truth. Remember, only the elect will know the Truth, other wise it would have been written: " and everyone saw it coming, due to popular Christian lore, and all atrocities where avoided for the human race." - it is not like that.
