The notorious "hatchet man" for Richard Nixon, Chuck Colson, was vilified in the press when he professed to be "born again." For Colson, however, this profession would be backed by a lifetime of service for the kingdom of God. He served the Lord in the clear knowledge that Jesus was risen to be the Shepherd-King of God's true Israel. Watch as Pastor MacLaren shows from the prophet Micah how God would raise this Shepherd king from obscurity to rule over his people. This sermon was preached at First Presbyterian Church in Perkasie, Pennsylvania (USA, www.firstchurchopc.org) on April 22, 2012. The Rev. R. Scott MacLaren is the pastor.
Rev. Mark Kimpland of the First United Methodist Church of New York (www.fultonfumc.org) talks about walking with Jesus. You can see more on our website. Please stop by and say hi.
In this verse by verse study through the book of Ephesians, author and minister Rob Cartledge focuses upon Ephesians 1:15-23.
Series: Truth, Judgment and Eternity - What you hold as true, is it really Truth? Will what you believe get you through on Judgment day? Are you keeping to the pattern of sound teaching held out in Scripture? (2Timothy 1:13) In this series, Truth, Judgment and Eternity, I intend to deliver messages that check the solidness of our Christian Foundation so as to guard the good deposit that was entrusted to us as Christ's Ambassadors on this earth. (2Timothy 1:4)
Author and minister Rob Cartledge presents the first sermon in a series of sermons called 'Critical Doctrine', Titus 2:1 "You must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine." Multitudes of professed Christians around the globe are perplexed when it comes to doctrine and clearly articulating their faith. Because of this lack of understanding many Christians are believing the most absurd and heretical beliefs, and due to this we have seen an incredible increase of cultish views even inside of mainstream churches.
This Series, Critical Doctrine, is to confront this dilemma with clear and precise teaching on the basic foundational doctrines of our faith.
This sermon, called 'The Deity of Christ', looks at many Scriptures where both Christ and the disciples claim Jesus' divinity. The Bible speaks clearly in relation to the Godhood of Jesus Christ, and therefore according to Scripture we can confidently declare Jesus Christ to be God

Just like when you walk into a dark room, turning a light on makes all the difference. So it is when we study God's Word. Pastor Dean talks about what it is like when God opens our eyes to what is in His Word.
