Psalms 27

The bible uses the term 'The Lord is' to affirm not only the character of God but also who He is in our lives. The term is also used in a very personal way when we, as Christians make an affirmation of his awesome power and providence; his everlasting love, his kindness, his grace and mercy toward us.
Psalms 27 is a Psalm of David. In this Psalm we learn the importance of praise and worship; not to excluse faith and confidence in the Lord.
There is a lot we can learn from these 14 verses.

Psalms 91 The Secret Place

Psalms 91 declares the security of the godly.
It does not guarantee security to anyone who merely recites these scriptures;
It is not a magic formula for protection, deliverance or healing.
Psalms 91 is a promise to the believer in Jesus Christ and the finished work of the cross that God will protect him or her in the day of trouble.
Sometimes he will protect them from it; sometimes he will protect them through it.
No matter the circumstance, God will be their helper in time of trouble and need.
