Even when we are completely distracted from God's promises, He has given us the ability to naturally recover from so much of the physical and emotional affliction that comes against us. And we always have the medical community to rely on when all else fails. But there will come a time when all else fails. There will come a time when something hits us—something that nothing in the natural world can fix. This is the moment when God reminds us: “For I am the LORD who heals you.” This is the moment when we step right up to the edge of His promise. And we have to make a choice.
