There’s only so much pie to go around—or so we’re told. The world says we’re about to run out of … you name it, just fill in the blank. And it’s easy to begin to think that if I want a bigger piece of the pie, I’m going to have to take a bite out of somebody else’s piece. But God operates His kingdom with infinite resources.

Every time we abandon God's interests to pursue our own we limit ourselves to our own devices. And how well have our own efforts really helped us through the years? As for me, if lined up all my strictly human accomplishments in a row, my little granddaughter could easily step over them.

It Is Our Mission That We Are Commissioned For In These Final Critical Hours....

We all probably know of at least one adrenaline junkie who lives for the thrill of overcoming seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Why isn't it possible to become so addicted to living by the power of the Holy Spirit that we seek out opportunities to serve God just so we can watch His strength work in our weakness?

What Jesus did for us changed our rights, privileges, and responsibilities as God’s children. But these changes go entirely unnoticed by most Christians. And until we understand these changes we will continue to be obsessed with our survival.
