Candace Cameron Bure On How to Add Bible Reading and Faith Into a Marriage

Actress and Christian Candace Cameron Bure explained the best way to introduce Bible reading and faith into a marriage relationship.

Marriage is one of the best, most rewarding things about life. It is also one of the most challenging things in life, requiring time, work, patience and grace. Marriage is the union, the bringing together of two different people who will not always agree on every subject, including faith and religion.

In some marriages, a spouse may not be open to hearing about the gospel and message of Jesus Christ. For whatever reason, they may be resistant even when the other person in the marriage is a believer and follower of Jesus Christ. Of course, this can lead to tension and might even cause an argument or two.

However, in a clip posted on social media, Candace explains how to introduce that resistant spouse to Jesus Christ and to read the Bible. Like most things in life, we’re more likely to convince and win over people with actions than words, and Candace also suggests taking that approach.

“I think, again, it just has to be part of your daily life,” she said. “So, you don’t necessarily have to get your husband on board; you can just do it.”

That husband or wife will then see those daily activities and that example. Those actions are a witness to that person.

“So, if you don’t pray before meals, you don’t necessarily have to ask your husband; you certainly could,” Candace said. “But if you just say, ‘Hey, I’d like to pray before we eat,’ just do it. Like, that’s a simple way of incorporating your faith.”

She also mentions asking if your spouse wants to join you in reading the Bible or doing a specific devotional and if they say refuse, still do it by yourself anyway.

Leading by example and actions rather than words is always the best way to show someone else how serious you are and how much something means to you.

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the sign that the things not seen are true.”

Tim Tebow's Powerful Story Of How God Used Football To Get Millions To Read John 3:16

Former football star Tim Tebow shared a powerful story about how God used the game of football to get millions of people to look up and read John 3:16.

Most people are incredibly familiar with the Bible verse John 3:16 and can recite it with relative ease. While it’s the most famous verse in the Bible, it’s also, without question, the most important. The words in that verse are the foundation for everything else in the Bible. Without John 3:16, nothing else in the Bible matters.

In a clip posted on social media, Tim gives a presentation in which he talks about his playing football days at the University of Florida and later in the NFL. Tim mentions how God used a simple, seemingly insignificant move to introduce millions to Jesus Christ and John 3:16. It’s a story that shows the unbelievable power of God.

Football players commonly wear black anti-glare strips under their eyes. These strips are intended to help players see better while on the field. Recently, some players have started writing messages in the strips. When he was a quarterback at the University of Florida, Tim began writing “Phil 4:13,” also a popular Bible verse, on his strips.

However, one year, right before Florida was about to play in the national championship game, Tim started getting a prodding and a feeling from God that he needed to change up the verse. So, instead of Philippians 4:13, he wrote “John 3:16” underneath his eyes.

Then, two days after the game, he learned God used that one change to do something amazing! The news came in the form of a phone call to then Florida’s football coach, Urban Meyer.  Tim learned that more than 90 million people Googled “John 3:16” because they saw it under his eyes during the game.

Three years later to the day, when Tim was now playing in the NFL, God did something very similar, introducing millions of people to that all-important verse: John 3:16.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Community's Outpouring of Love for 7-Year-Old Following Horrible Tragedy

A community came together to show a 7-year-old girl who had recently experienced a horrible tragedy love and kindness.

Unfortunately, we will all experience awful situations and circumstances that cause extreme grief, pain and sorrow. Sadly, those moments are inevitable and inescapable in this life. Many have likely already gone through something similar and are intimately familiar with the hurt and heartache associated with those moments.

It’s essential to have a group of people around you to help you through and be a shoulder to cry on when those moments arrive. The only thing worse than experiencing and going through deep, intense emotional pain is doing it while feeling all alone. For that reason, a community’s response to a 7-year-old girl is so touching and moving.

Emouree Johnson, 7 years old, went through what is likely the worst thing a child can experience. She woke up one morning to learn that her mother had passed away. To make matters worse, when Emouree visited her mother’s burial site, her mother did not have a gravestone. So, Emouree set out to fix that and started a lemonade stand to raise money to buy her mom a gravestone.

At first, the young woman did not tell anyone what the proceeds were going toward. She just started selling cups of that delicious, cold beverage for $1 apiece.

But word about Emouree’s sweet and touching efforts quickly got out, and people responded in a big way.

“The most that we got for one cup of lemonade was $300 bucks,” Emouree said.

According to the clip posted on YouTube, Emouree raised $15,000 in lemonade sales. However, she can keep all that money and put it in savings because a local monument company has generously and lovingly agreed to donate a gravestone.

What a sad but beautiful story of a community coming together to show a little girl that she is loved and that other people do care.

A touching moment unfolded when Dolly Parton greeted and embraced a young cancer survivor! Roe Roe, a spirited young girl, had been listening to Dolly’s uplifting songs throughout her fight against cancer. Inspired by the music that brought her comfort and strength, she made a sign to show her gratitude. The sign, read, "Dolly, your music helped me beat cancer," caught Dolly's eye during a public appearance.

Wildlife Officials Rescue Bear With Milk Can Around Its Neck for Weeks

In the peaceful town of Enosburgh, Vermont, a bear-y unusual rescue mission captured the community’s heart and their funny bone. Wildlife officials rescued a bear with a milk can around its neck for weeks! One of nature’s large and curious creatures recently found itself in a rather sticky situation. Early this spring, locals noticed a black bear sporting a metal milk can around its neck, looking ready to join a space mission. The sight stirred a potent mix of worry and empathy among the townspeople.

Determined to bear the responsibility of helping the distressed animal, the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department sprang into action. Wildlife specialists, game wardens, biologists, and volunteers united to craft a careful plan to free the bear. But let’s be honest—trapping a bear is no picnic—it’s more like a barbecue. Keeping their eyes sharp and paws crossed, they finally caught the bear.

After weeks of bear-y hard work and anticipation, the moment of truth finally arrived. The bear, perhaps lured by the promise of a can-free life, was caught in one of the traps. A team swiftly sedated the bear, covering its eyes and snout with a cloth to keep it calm while carefully cutting away the metal can.

A heartwarming video shared by the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department documented the moment of liberation. The bear, initially disoriented and possibly pondering its next snack, quickly realized its newfound freedom and darted into the safety of the woods.

This bear-y happy ending highlighted the power of human kindness and community spirit. As it is written in Proverbs 12:10, "The righteous care for the needs of their animals." This scripture was truly lived out in Enosburgh as people worked tirelessly to ensure the bear's well-being.

The bear's ordeal brought the community closer, showcasing the enduring spirit of both human and animal residents of this picturesque Vermont town. The once-distressed bear now symbolizes hope and the power of collective compassion in making the world a bear-ter place.

Head Baseball Coach Nick Mingione Surrendered to God And Shares How It Changed Everything

University of Kentucky head baseball coach Nick Mingione said he reached a point when he surrendered everything to God and shared how doing that changed everything.

Professional and collegiate athletics is a serious business. Big money, sky-high expectations and a lot of pressure are involved in sports at that level. Often, entire livelihoods rest on a single win or loss, which can be determined by one play here or there. An error there or failure to make the correct play here could cost a coach and his entire staff their jobs.

That kind of pressure and level of expectation can result in frustration and anger. Coaches and players can get angry and upset when they don’t reach what they think is their full potential. However, when his 2022 team failed to achieve what he believed they were capable of, Nick admits that he had some dark days.

However, in a clip posted on YouTube, Nick, with his wife and young child by his side, said that he did one of the hardest things he’s ever had to do. Understanding that his abilities were finite and limited, he surrendered everything to God.

“We went on this great run,” Nick said. “We were one win short. We were one win short. We finished fourth in the SEC Tournament for the first time. It was the best finish, but we were one win short.”

During that season, Nick lost two players to injury for the year. He said that he “had some dark nights earlier in that season.” He admitted that he was “hurting like he’s never hurt before” and “was a beat down coach.”

Nick, who played Phil Wickham’s “Battle Belongs” on his phone during the press conference, told the media that he surrendered everything and told the Lord that the “battle belongs to you.”

Nick surrendered all to the Lord on May 15, 2022. From that day forward, Nick said no one has won more regular season baseball games in the SEC than the University of Kentucky.

“You can’t make this up,” Nick said. “Only God can make this up.”

Nick’s comments about experiencing adversity and surrendering to the Lord came after the University of Kentucky baseball team made it to the College World Series. It is the first in the school’s history.

God will do amazing things in the lives of His people. But we must allow Him the opportunity to do so by surrendering everything to Him.

James 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

Country Singer Zach Bryan's Kindness Moves Sick Young Woman to Tears

This is a moving video worth taking a moment to watch. Country singer Zach Bryan's kindness moves sick young woman to tears.

As the clip starts, you see a young 19-year-old woman sitting in a wheelchair with a feeding tube taped to her nose. She is in the midst of a large stadium concert, wearing a cowgirl hat and a cute dress. You see the crowd cheering, and they all begin to clap.

As Zach finishes his performance, he comes off the stage with one guitar and hands it to a crewmate. Then Zach does something unexpected: he picks up a dark guitar case and carries it over to the young woman. He tells her that the guitar is for her. She is in complete shock. She cannot believe that he has come up to speak with her and give her a special gift. He asks if she wants to go backstage, and she says yes. He agrees to give the guitar to her, back there. You then see that she is holding a poster that says her life goal #1 is to go to a Zach Bryan concert. He gives her a hug, and she begins to cry.

The girl's name is Megan Pederson. Even in the battle she is facing, this small act of kindness went a long way in her life. She and her family happened to meet Zach’s dad at a concert in Oklahoma, and he got them VIP tickets for the Wisconsin show. To her surprise, Zach had a special gift for her that meant the world to her in her battle with a rare disease that affects her eating. This video reminds us to look out for those around us, and we never know what they are facing. Pray for Megan, for her health to improve, and her body to be healed.

“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Galatians 6:10

Vanna White Chokes Up Saying Goodbye To Wheel Of Fortune Host Pat Sajak

Vanna White became emotional and choked up as she said goodbye to Pat Sajak, her friend and longtime host of Wheel of Fortune.

For most people, a job is simply a place where they go Monday through Friday to earn a paycheck. It’s a way to put food on the table and clothes on the back. Everyone has to earn a living one way or another.

Working is something that most people will spend a good part of their lives doing. So, it would make sense to try and find something you at least halfway enjoy doing with people you like and don’t mind being around for 40 hours a week or so.

Vanna White has found precisely that in her time on Wheel of Fortune, except instead of like, she has grown to love the people she works with, particularly Pat Sajak.

In early June, after more than 40 years as host, Pat Sajak said goodbye as the host of the long-running, popular game show. But before he stepped away for good, Vanna recorded a special, tearful goodbye to her co-host and friend Pat Sajak.

Vanna is grateful for the 8,000 episodes she and Pat had together, saying the 41 years went by quickly.

“What an incredible and unforgettable journey we’ve had,” Vanna said while fighting back tears. “And I’ve enjoyed every minute of it with you.”

Vanna also added that Pat has become like family to her.

“You’re like a brother to me, and I consider you a true lifelong friend who I will always adore. I love you, Pat.”

Saying goodbye to people we love and care about is never easy, but it is simply a part of life. Her video shows that Vanna and Pat have grown very close over the years and that she, like the audience, will miss him being on the show.

Proverbs 27:9 “Oil and perfume make glad the heart, and the wise suggestion of a friend is sweet to the soul.”

Anne Wilson Opens Up About Brother's Death and The Lord's Healing In Emotional Video

Christian musician Anne Wilson has opened up about her brother’s death and the Lord’s healing in an emotional video.

Everyone will experience painful, heartbreaking and distressing moments. It’s a sad reality of life. There will be times that rip your heart out of your chest and leave you feeling absolutely gutted and crying out for help, comfort and healing.

However, there is one who understands our pain. He knows what it’s like to experience pain and heartache. Even amid those terrible situations, the Lord is still in control, and He can and will provide healing and comfort to the hurting and grieving.

In a clip posted on social media, Anne opened up about her brother’s death and how he was taken from her and her family at the young age of 23. Her brother was killed in a car crash on June 7, 2017.

Later in the video, Anne states that while she and her family were hurting and grieving, the Lord started to perform a miracle. He started to heal them and changed the direction of Anne’s life. Anne said the first time she sang in public was at his funeral. Initially, Anne wanted to be an astronaut and work for NASA. She had no plans to do anything to do with music.

“I had all these dreams and hopes and visions of what my future would look like, and it was nothing to do with music,” Anne said.

But the Lord had other plans for Anne’s life.

“And when Jacob was killed, my life changed drastically,” she said. “I began to see what it means to live a life that honors and glorifies God. What it means to use my time on Earth for the kingdom of God, to grow it further and further for His glory.”

Anne states that the Lord has brought her and her family to a place where they feel healed, even though that pain and hurt are still very much real.

Horrible things happen in this life, but the Lord’s grace, love and healing are sufficient for you and me. Not only that, but the Bible says that God uses all situations for the good of those who love Him.

Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.”
