A sweet and caring Dollar Tree cashier spotted a stressed-out mother and offered her some help.

Children are one of life’s biggest blessings. There is nothing like being a parent and welcoming a new bundle of joy into the home. Children add much joy, happiness and love to a parent’s life. They make life a fuller and richer experience. However, at times, children can and do add stress to life.

Like everyone else, children get tired, cranky and annoyed. However, unlike everyone else, and as every parent knows, children often make it entirely clear when they are tired, cranky and annoyed. Everyone within a mile radius of the children will know their mood. 

That’s what happened to one mother who was shopping in a New Jersey Dollar Tree. The mom’s hands were full as she was trying to check out. To make matters worse, her daughter was upset and in the middle of a meltdown, according to the video posted on TikTok.

The cashier gave the mom a hand. She picked up the young lady and kept her occupied, letting the child scan her mother’s items.

As the cashier holds the child in one arm, she grabs items with the other. The child then focuses all of her attention on moving the item across the scanner. 

The mother was grateful for the cashier’s sweet and caring move of unexpected kindness.

“She instantly changed our moods for the better,” according to the text in the short clip. 

The mother also added that while she never posts such things on social media, she couldn’t help but shine a light on the cashier’s loving move. 

“I never post stuff like this, but I just want this woman to have the world,” the text in the clip reads. “THANK YOU!”

What a simple but sweet and loving move that, at that moment, likely meant the world to a mother with an upset toddler.

A young woman who was diagnosed with, battled and beat cancer was gifted a trip to the most magical place on earth, Walt Disney World.

Cancer, in every single form, is a horrible, awful disease that only hurts and destroys. Families have been ripped apart by cancer. So whenever someone beats that life-threatening illness, it is a cause for celebration and a reason for joy.

Jessica Love, a 6-year-old, was diagnosed with Leukemia in August 2020. Hearing the word “cancer” from a trusted medical professional is a frightening and life-changing experience. But for a parent to hear that their child has been diagnosed with cancer has to be especially gut-wrenching.

Jessica’s mother, Laura Smith, explained what it was like knowing her daughter had cancer but feeling powerless to do anything about it.

“As a parent, where you want to protect and cure all the ‘owies’ and do all the things for your kiddos, and not being able to do that is really hard,” Laura said, fighting back tears. 

Nearly two years after she was diagnosed, Jessica was cancer-free. Praise God!

After beating that horrible disease, Jessica was taken to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, to hang out with Mickey, Minnie and all their pals.

Laura stated it was the perfect trip and a fitting ending to the scary ordeal.

But Jessica’s time at the parks in Florida was not the only magical thing that happened on the trip. On their flight back home, Jessica received a special message from a member of the flight crew.

“We have a very, very special guest on board here today that we wanted to recognize,” a flight attendant announced to the plane. “She, are y’all ready for this – has just beaten cancer. From all of your crew at Southwest, and I’m sure all of your fellow passengers, we want to welcome you home. We want to wish you a very healthy, happy, prosperous and long life ahead.”

3 John 1:2 “My loved one, it is my prayer that you may do well in all things, and be healthy in body, even as your soul does well.”

Legendary entertainer Dolly Parton reached out to one of her biggest fans, who is battling cancer, and talked for several minutes and even sang to the sick man.

Showing someone else kindness and love doesn’t cost much. Most of the time, it’s completely free, with the only expense being a few moments of our time. But those moments could mean the world to someone in need. A simple, unexpected act of kindness could put a smile on someone else’s face or change their outlook on life.

Dolly Parton is no stranger to kindness and love. Throughout her career, she has gone out of her way to help her fellow man. Dolly’s talent, as evidenced by a career spanning decades, is recognized and adored by millions. Despite all her success, Dolly has never stopped showing others love, kindness and care.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Dolly calls up and speaks to a Utah man dying of cancer. The man, who is lying down in bed, has a massive smile on his face as he speaks to the “Jolene” singer. 

Dolly begins the call with the sick man by thanking him for what he has done for her.

“Well, LG, I really thank you for shooting out the word that you’d like to talk to me,” Dolly says. “I’m just happy that we got to kind of have our journey together in this lifetime. I always want to make people happy with my music and with the things I do and the things I say. I’m just happy to know that I’ve touched your life in some way. So thank you for honoring me with that.”

The man responds that Dolly and her music have been a “huge help” to him. 

Dolly ends the call by telling the man that she “will always love” him. She then sings her hit song for him, changing the lyrics to include the man’s name. 

Dolly Parton is an absolute class act!

One couple, Will and Sarah Mortensen, are familiar with the power of prayer as they witnessed God give them a miracle in the form of their beautiful baby girl.

The Bible is filled with miracles as God consistently demonstrates his power and love. However, most, if they are honest, would likely say that miracles don’t happen today. But Will and Sarah know from personal experience that God still performs miracles today.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Sarah, while 10 weeks pregnant with her and Will’s third child, received the results of a prenatal screening. It revealed that their child, a girl, had tested positive for Trisomy 18. 

Trisomy 18 is a rare chromosomal disorder in which 95 percent of unborn children do not survive a full-term pregnancy. Children with Trisomy 18 who do make it to birth rarely make it past their first birthday, according to the Cleveland Clinic.

Knowing these facts, Will and Sarah faced an uncertain future. How were they going to proceed? 

Sarah was scheduled to undergo a test that would have confirmed the diagnosis of Trisomy 18, which would guide them on how to move forward. 

One day, Sarah cried out to God, asking for His help, guidance and direction. She says immediately God responded, speaking to her through the voice of her unborn child.

“And then, right then, it was, like, so clear of feeling her voice say, ‘Like, Mommy, tell them to leave me alone. I’m just fine,’” Sarah said.

The couple decided to cancel the test and move ahead with the pregnancy. However, they would not know for sure if their unborn daughter had Trisomy 18 or not. 

For the next 30 weeks, Sarah, Will and their families prayed and prayed. 

On the delivery day, Sarah and Will’s third child was born. As the video mentions, the child had no sign of Trisomy 18. 

“It was such a great moment because I just knew that the Lord had told me this was going to be the outcome,” Sarah said.

Sarah, now a mother of three, saw firsthand the work of the Lord.

“God gave me a miracle,” Sarah said. “He saved my baby.”

A generous and loving Indiana high school teacher was overcome with emotion when she was surprised by her former students during an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

The world is full of hurting and struggling people. They are trying to get through and survive by any means available. Individuals are dealing with overwhelming situations and shouldering massive burdens, including young children. 

One woman, a teacher at Carmel High School in central Indiana, has worked to provide healing and comfort to sick children. During her teaching career, Sarah has helped to raise more than $6 million for Riley Children’s Hospital at IU Health. The hospital specializes in providing care to youngsters. 

In a clip posted on YouTube, Sarah talks about the origins of the annual dance marathon, which raises funds for the children’s hospital. She also told Kelly about the many other ways throughout the year students raise money to help sick children. 

But throughout the interview, Sarah refuses to take much or really any credit. She constantly puts the spotlight on the students, saying none of it would have been possible without them and their dedication. 

Sarah states that she initially went into teaching to make a difference in the lives of others. She adds that she has been able to do that through the annual dance marathon. 

Near the end of the clip, around the 5:20-minute mark, Kelly surprises Sarah with a video of students from all over the country who had been involved with the fundraising efforts. 

They all thank her for her many generous and loving efforts, praising her for her “mission-driven fundraising” and “pouring her entire heart, soul and life” into her students.

The Indiana teacher is brought to tears. She brushes her eyes several times as her past students shower her with kind words and praise. 

At the end of the clip, the teacher is given a $25,000 check for Riley Children’s Hospital at IU Health.

Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, crushed down, full and running over, they will give to you. For in the same measure as you give, it will be given to you again.”

A woman brought out the big guns – her “mom voice” - when she spotted her tiny, defenseless 6-pound Yorkshire terrier being chased by a massive moose. 

Mothers seemingly have an endless arsenal of weapons and abilities when it comes to surveilling and correcting their children. Most know that mothers have eyes in the back of their heads. They basically develop a sixth sense, somehow able to detect their children’s 

movements without even looking in their direction. But, without a doubt, the most paralyzing and impactful ability in a mother's arsenal is the “mom voice.”

Everyone is familiar with the “mom voice.” It’s a stern and angry tone that signals that trouble is brewing. At this time, it’s best to carefully listen to the words that come out of Mom’s mouth. As it turns out, “mom voice” is even powerful enough to cause a 1,000-pound moose to stop in its tracks, according to one video posted on YouTube.

Cathy Diehl-Robbins and her family live in Alaska. She states they live in the state for the wildlife and have had many members of the wildlife community show up in their backyard. 

One day, Cathy saw a moose terrorizing the family's smallest member. Cathy employed her “mom voice" while defending the dog. 

She yelled, “Hey, hey, hey, hey! No!” at the animal, causing the moose to freeze and stop chasing the miniature canine. 

Cathy’s husband, in an interview, laughingly said that he is also familiar with that tone, which caused a large wild animal to freeze in fear.

“It’s the ‘mom voice’ and it’s the ‘husband voice,’” he said.

Cathy added that she has the final say and authority over everyone - human or animal – who steps in her yard.

“As I always say, ‘It’s my yard, my rules,’” Cathy said. “You come into my yard, it’s my rules. Behave yourself.”

An elderly woman made history when she accepted her master’s degree during a graduation ceremony at the University of North Texas.

It’s impossible to learn and know everything about every subject and topic. An education, regardless of how many degrees a person acquires, will never be complete. Bettering oneself and situation through education and hard work is a constant, daily process. 

Minnie Payne, at 90 years old, understands that there is always something more to learn. That’s a big reason why she recently made history at the University of North Texas by becoming the oldest person to earn a master’s degree at the school. 

In a clip posted on YouTube, Minnie, escorted by her grandson, walks across the stage to accept her diploma. The crowd watching the graduation ceremony erupts in thunderous applause when her name is announced. 

Minnie, in the video, gave three reasons why, at her advanced age, she went back to school and got a master’s degree.

“Number one, I have always tried to better myself,” she said. “And number two, I knew that bettering myself involves studying. And number three, I knew that it took effort. I patiently worked to the end.”

She was determined to put in the time, effort and work necessary to achieve her academic goal. One of her professors in the clip mentioned that she “was very dedicated to her work,” “did not cut any corners” and asked questions when they arose. 

The world would be a much better place if more people had the drive, desire and mindset like Minnie’s. Nothing good in life comes easy. Sacrifices have to be made, and hard work is required to achieve a worthwhile goal in this life. 

Congrats, Minnie! 

She is a terrific example that anyone can always strive to better themselves, regardless of their stage in life.

Third-grade teacher and avid Miami Dolphins fan Mary Martinez has gotten quite the attention online, with videos going viral as she incorporates football into her lesson plans.

Teaching is a noble and honorable profession. Those dedicated men and women are literally educating the next generation as they interact and work with children daily. One teacher, as has been shown repeatedly, can make a world of difference in a child’s life. 

Mary Martinez, because of her passion for teaching and her third-grade students, has found a unique way to impart important life lessons and skills to her students. She uses the game of football, specifically the NFL’s Miami Dolphins, according to a video posted on YouTube.

In the clip, Mary mentioned that she started using football in the classroom to better reach her students.

“I’ve loved sports all my life,” she said. “And as I started in third grade, I noticed that there was an interest more in sports.”

Mary understood that reaching students and imparting knowledge involves meeting them where they are and taking an interest in them. 

Learning is always much easier when it’s fun and exciting!

Additionally, sports have given Mary a way to teach her elementary class about the lessons found during the tough times, in the losses.

“While I love the Dolphins and want them to be perfect like 1972, the losses are my favorite part,” she said. “Because it’s where the lessons come from. It’s where we are able to learn and to grow, and that’s such an important thing for the kids to understand.”

The videos of Mary using football to teach her classroom exploded online. It even caught the attention of her favorite team: the Miami Dolphins.

The team, as the video points out, gave Mary tickets to a Monday Night Football game.

“You can learn so much from the game,” Mary said.

Hoda Kotb found an ingenious and hysterical method to keep her children from getting bored and disinterested. 

Parenthood is one of life’s biggest blessings. Children add so much joy, happiness and fun to life. Whether through birth or adoption, welcoming a child into the home is one way to show the love of Christ to someone else. 

However, as much as parents might want to engage and interact with their children, it may not be possible to do so and keep them constantly entertained. When children believe they’ve run out of things to do, they will state they are bored. Well, Hoda found a way to keep her kids from ever getting to that point, which involves using Amazon’s Alexa during the winter season. 

“I asked Alexa, every 15 minutes, to sound an alarm,” she said, through laughter. 

She explains that she devised a game to keep her children active.

“And the kids are barefoot, and it’s cold outside,” Hoda said. “So I said, ‘We’re all going to do it.’ Every 15 minutes we’re going to go outside. We’re going to run outside, tag this pole and come back.”

Hoda, through laughter, said her game received a surprisingly positive reception from her youngsters.

“The kids were delighted,” Hoda said.

As much fun as Hoda’s game was, she and Jenna agreed that sometimes kids, who go through a semester of school and are over-scheduled with tests and classes, deserve time to lay around and relax. 

Kids deserve time to themselves. They don’t want to be doing something every minute of every day. It’s OK for kids to be kids at times.

But saying “I’m bored” to the wrong person could result in playing a game where one runs outside barefoot in the middle of winter, as Hoda hilariously explains.

A police officer in northern Indiana is a hero after saving the life of a child who had become unresponsive.

Life is the most precious and delicate item on the face of the Earth. Due to the priceless nature of that God-given gift, it must be protected in any and every possible way. All efforts must be made to protect and defend life. 

In a clip posted on YouTube, Officer Brian Meador, a member of the South Bend, Indiana, Police Department, races out to attend to an unresponsive child. Brian then began performing chest compressions on the youngster in a desperate attempt to get the child breathing once again.

Brian continued the lifesaving maneuver on the child while he and the child’s parents waited at the police station for medics to arrive. Thankfully, the officer’s quick-thinking actions were successful. 

“Luckily, the baby started crying about the time that EMS got to the front door,” Brian said.

Normally, a crying child can be a mild irritant, but in this instance, when the child’s life hung in the balance, that was a welcomed sign. Brian called the child’s cries “music” to his ears.

Brian also praised the youngster’s parents for their part in saving the child’s life.

“Huge shoutout to mom and dad for knowing, you know, what to do in that situation as well,” Brian said. “That’s huge.”

The child’s mother and father were on their way to hospital as their youngster had been battling an illness. However, during their trip to the hospital, the child became unresponsive, and that’s when mom and dad made a detour to the South Bend Police Department. 

The video adds that the child continues to recover. 

Praise God for the lifesaving, heroic efforts of Officer Brian Meador and the child’s mother and father!

Celebrities might be well-known, but they are also still human. In this video Ryan Seacrest gets emotional talking about giving back and helping sick kids.

Ryan runs a foundation with his parents and sister called the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. Although he is known for his incredible hosting skills on television, Ryan also has a heart for sick children. There is a place called Seacrest Studios that is inside of Children’s Hospital. Ryan tears up talking about seeing the challenge on a mom and dad’s face who are walking through their child’s sickness. Ryan shares that a boy told him it was going to be a great Christmas because he “got approved to get new lungs.” Perspective is everything.

A young boy named Payson Inkley comes into the studio and talks for a moment to encourage other kids to make their day better. Ryan gives the boy dressed in a button-down shirt and tie a hug and promotes his skills. 

The child beams with excitement. Ryan then reveals that he is going to be the new host for Wheel of Fortune. He is very complimentary of Pat Sajak and shares his excitement to work alongside Vanna White, calling her a “national treasure.” 

Ryan tells of the importance of giving back when you are given some success in life. He desires to help others find happiness, too. 

It is so valuable as believers in Christ to love others well by seeing them, giving your time to them, blessing them financially, and praying for them. Even if we do not have the physical resources that Ryan has, we have our faith in Jesus to come alongside those in need and love them well. 

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7

One woman, actress Angela Cartwright, who had a pivotal role in what has since become one of the most beloved films of all time, “The Sound of Music,” shares her experiences working on the film and what it means to her.

Most films released by Hollywood are forgotten soon after they hit theaters and are never thought of again. However, there are a few movies that, for whatever reason, have staying power. They go on to become classics, beloved by generation after generation. 

“The Wizard of Oz,” “Casablanca” and “Singin’ in the Rain” are a few of the flicks that fit in that exclusive category of timeless Hollywood films. Another movie that is as and perhaps even more beloved than those other films is “The Sound of Music.”

Angela Cartwright, who played Brigitta von Trapp, appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show and talked about what it was like to work on the film. She also mentioned that she and her castmates had no idea that the film would go on to become such a classic.

“No, we had no idea,” Angela said. “We just knew that we were having a blast doing this movie, and it was just an experience. But we had no idea that, you know, it’s almost been 60 years now, and this movie is still going strong.”

As Angela mentioned, decades after the film’s release, it’s still having an impact. Kelly’s nightly ritual with her children is proof of this fact. Kelly stated every night her 7-year-old son asks her to sing the “Do-Re-Mi” tune from the film.

Later in the clip, Kelly adds that an entire album of 40 previously unreleased songs from “The Sound of Music” will be hitting store shelves in February.

“That’s never been done before,” Angela said. “This is just the soundtrack. And it has all the music from, you know, all the scenes, even the parts we’re not singing. And so, nobody’s really heard that except on the move itself.”

An elderly couple was having a fantastic time together while they showed off their fancy footwork in a shopping mall’s food court.

Dance is an art form that often requires years of blood, sweat and tears to perfect. But even for those who aren’t aspiring to be professional dancers, moving and grooving to music can still be an excellent form of exercise and a terrific way to stay active. It’s also a great way to express joy and happiness. 

As one video posted on TikTok shows, dancing is also a great way to bond and spend quality time with a spouse. In the video, which is just under a minute long, Nick and Emma, who have been together for more than 50 years, strut their stuff, according to Sunny Skyz.

The couple dance in perfect synchronization, never missing a step, as Paul Russell’s “Lil Boo Thang” plays. The couple who are the only people on the dance floor have some serious skills!

The darling couple even changes things up and throws in a few small jumps and hops in their routine. 

They both dance as if no one is watching! 

In addition to being blessed with some suave moves, the couple appears to be having the time of their lives. Both have massive smiles on their faces. 

Instead of joining the happy couple on the dance floor, a handful of people sit and take in the cute sight. 

However, near the end of the video, one man musters up enough courage and joins the man and the woman. He also has some skills on the dance floor. He’s able to keep up with them, but he keeps his eyes glued on Nick so he knows what to do and how to move next. 

The next time the music hits you, get up and dance, you may surprise yourself with your moves!

Former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal stated that he strives to live up to his mother's example, which she displayed for him as a young man.

Shaq was dominant, essentially unstoppable on the basketball court. During his playing days, Shaq scored thousands of points, grabbed thousands of rebounds and snagged a handful of NBA titles. His fantastic play on the hardwood earned him legions of committed and adoring fans.

But while his playing days have ended, the NBA Hall of Famer has continued to win fans, specifically for his many kind and generous deeds. He commonly goes out of his way, unexpectedly blessing others by purchasing items for those others around him.

In an interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Shaq mentioned the reason for his generosity and why he tries to do something good every day.

“My source of energy comes from one person: Dr. Lucille O’Neal,” Shaq said. “That’s my mother.” 

He mentioned that he commonly tells young people about the example his mother set when he was a child.

“Like, when I’m having conversations with kids, they say, ‘How’s it feel to be rich?’ " he said. “I said, ‘My definition of being rich is different.’ My definition of being rich is growing up, watching a woman wake up, make our breakfast, iron our clothes, work all day, wear the same gear she wore, not yesterday, but the day before, mix it up, come home, cook our dinner and never complain.”

The former basketball player added that his mother was the perfect example of how to live life and help those around him. 

“You know, I just try to do everything correctly for my mother,” Shaq said. 

Shaq, with his generous and giving spirit and continuously kind acts, likely made his mother abundantly proud.

One man displayed tremendous love, care and kindness for his wife when she could no longer apply makeup to her face.

Marriage is a beautiful, life-long commitment made between two people. While standing at the altar before their friends and family, those two individuals vow to remain together for better or worse, sickness and health. They are to lift up and encourage each other when life becomes too much and weighs them down.

A short clip posted on Instagram shows the kind of commitment and love the Lord likely envisioned when He created the institution of marriage. It’s a video that will likely cause even the most stoic and emotionless person to shed a tear or two or three. 

The video shows a husband sitting before his wife. Her hands are constantly trembling. Sadly, because of her condition, she cannot put makeup on herself. This, as the video states, had gotten her feeling down and discouraged. But her loving husband, wanting to put a smile back on his wife’s face, hired a makeup artist to teach him how to do it properly.

The makeup artist sits off to the side, guiding and directing the husband as he carefully and intently follows her words. Once he applies makeup to one of her eyes, he looks back at the makeup artist and asks for reassurance.

“Is that good?” he asks.

“I just don’t feel right without my makeup on,” the wife says.

Next, the man lovingly and lightly grabs his wife’s face as he delicately puts lipstick on her. 

After completing the tutorial, the makeup artist informs the caring husband that he did a “really good job.”

The husband greatly appreciated her words, as signaled by his body language. His shoulders instantly relaxed, likely indicating that he was nervous because he badly wanted to bring a smile back to his wife’s face. 

After the husband is finished putting the makeup on her face, he holds up a mirror for the wife to inspect his work. She is instantly brought to tears, overwhelmed with the love and kindness that they have shown her.

“Oh, honey, I look beautiful,” she says. “I look like myself now!”

What a beautiful display of love and kindness.

A recent college graduation in Texas was memorable for one family because they all – wearing a cap and gown - walked across the stage and received their diplomas.

Graduating from high school or college is a monumental step in life. It’s a huge achievement that will, hopefully, spring an individual forward to bigger and better things in life. As such, whenever someone reaches this milestone in their education, it’s a cause for celebration.

One family in Texas had a lot to celebrate as they all graduated from the same school on the same day. The mother, father and their daughter appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show to talk about what it meant to receive their college degrees together.

Ashely, the daughter, jokingly pointed out that before her parents enrolled, they asked her permission to start studying at her school. Ashley happily consented and enjoyed sharing the experience with her mother and father.

“And I had been in college for a year, and I had nothing but great things to say about Texas Lutheran University,” Ashely said. “So, I was just so excited to share that experience with them, and to see them come to a four-year college, it was just so exciting. I was just so proud.”

Robyn, the mother, talking about graduation day, became noticeably emotional. Ashely, as her mother talks, wipes a tear from her eye.

“First of all, I was trying to prepare not to fall while walking the stage,” Robyn said. “And so, after that, I was able to turn around, and it was very surreal watching my husband and daughter, you know, walk the stage after me. It was very touching.”

Kelly, in the clip, points out that it was the first time that had happened in the history of Texas Lutheran University. 

What a beautiful and unique experience for that family that likely brought them all closer. Also, almost definitely it’s a time in their lives that they will cherish for the rest of their days.

One kind and loving man went out of his way and created some stunning and awe-inspiring miniature buildings for critters in his backyard.

The good Lord created animals. He is the same One who put the sun, moon and stars in place. He is also the same deity responsible for giving you and me breath. Like humans, all animals, because they are part of God’s creation, are valuable and have worth.

A man in England understands animals, much like people, are deserving of kindness and love. So, knowing this, he went about constructing a home for a family of mice who had taken up occupancy in his backyard, according to Sunny Skyz.

The video posted on TikTok shows a couple of the mice scurrying about as they stick their heads in and out of the small, intricately crafted and painted houses. The man narrates while the mice move about the structures. The weather is not ideal, but the man is not letting the rainy weather get him down. 

“It’s, again, horrendous weather,” the man says. “But these little poppets will certainly put a smile on your face.”

The attention to detail and the amount of work that clearly went into making each one of those miniature structures is stunning. There are small window panes, doors and even perfectly symmetrical shingles on the roofs of the houses. 

In addition to providing the little creatures with outstanding housing and lodging, he mentions that he provides the mice with nourishment. 

“They come out whatever the weather, as long as I’m feeding them,” he says. “Some of the special mix I make them, what I call ‘Yorkshire tea.’”

The man seems to be tickled to death by his cute, small friends. Watching them move around, enjoy their housing and eat the food he provides them brings the man joy and happiness.

Proverbs 12:10 “An upright man has thought for the life of his beast, but the hearts of the evildoers are cruel.”

A group of kind and caring students cheer on their classmate, “the fastest kid alive,” every day as he runs to his house after getting off the school bus. 

The world often feels like it’s running way too low on kindness and love. Unfortunately, people do possess the ability to inflict unspeakable evil on one another. But, then, some moments restore your faith in humanity. Even if they might be small, those unexpected acts of kindness and love can make a world of difference to someone who might desperately need it.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a handful of kindergarteners and a bus driver show kindness and love to a young man every day in a sweet way. 

The young man, who describes himself as “the fastest kid alive,” races home after getting off the school bus. But he doesn’t complete these full-on sprints without any fanfare. Instead, he has his own cheering section in the form of his classmates on the school bus.

As the young man safely sprints across the road to his home, the children chant, “Go, Xavier! Go, Xavier!”

Xavier’s mother says that due to the daily chant, she knows exactly when the bus has arrived.

“It’s an everyday thing,” she said. “They, they get on one side of the bus, and they scream Xavier’s name. “Go, Xavier, go!” That’s all we hear, and that’s how we know they outside.”

Xavier’s bus driver understands that he has an important role in a child’s life. He knows he has been placed in a position to spread some happiness and joy.

“You have the first chance to make them happy, and you’ve got the last chance to make them happy,” he said. “Because I’ll see them first and I’ll see them last. So, I always took that as a challenge to make sure I give them the environment, of course, safely, but to allow them just to express themselves and be kids.”

Proverbs 11:17 “The man who has mercy will be rewarded but the cruel man is the cause of trouble to himself.”
