God has given us EVERYTHING. The least we could do is give generously to all those in need. In ancient Israel, they had a practice of every 50 years, releasing everyone from their debts. Couldn't we do that with each other?

A PERPETUAL Jubilee is an ongoing generosity because, ultimately, nothing here can be held onto for very long anyway. The song is inspired. The ideas are simple and doable but the application would be VERY hard because of our love of money and power which is the root of all evil.

Eva wrote A Bruised Reed shortly after her husband of nearly 20 years committed suicide. Our suffering matters to God--He won't discard us (like the ancient Israelites used to discard bruised reeds they were using to make musical instruments with). This is a song for the hurting which exalts the truth that God is there for us in the pain.

I don't know when I wrote The Garden. I know that I did, its inception is just missing from my mind. What I like about the song is it could be about my relationship with a lady OR it could be about my relationship with God. What is it to you?

One summer day while I and my 5 year old Chinese daughter were living in Idaho (we had just lost our wife and mom to cancer), I decided to take her to a vacation Bible school. It was too far away for me to just leave her then come back for her so I hung out there on the grass in front of the church and waited. While waiting I was suddenly inspired to write the lyrics to this song. I felt God's presence surging through me as I wrote. Later I put music to it my vocal and guitar in a professional studio in Idaho. Later still, I forwarded the CD to Dean Kaelin in Salt Lake City, UT who added additional instruments and harmonies. I think it turned out well. Recently I began creating videos of my songs and I think this one turned out well. May it bless you! Vic Zarley

"Pobre Gozo"... Sencillamente es la descripción, de la diferencia entre "tener a Dios en nuestras vidas, o no tenerlo"... Describe que tan pobre puede llegar a ser "el gozo", que nos puede ofrecer el mundo, en el sentido del entorno que generalmente nos rodea; Y Es a través de una de sus frases, que intenta describirlo: "HOMBRES QUE MATAN, QUE HIEREN SIN PIEDAD"... Es esa forma vil, de herir los sentimientos, el corazón, de engañar, de traicionar; a veces, hasta llegar al punto de poder destruir a nuestro prójimo, moralmente hablando. Acciones propias, de la naturaleza pecaminosa del ser humano; las cuales, solo Dios puede borrar, cuando le permitimos que entre a nuestro corazón, y permanezca por siempre allí.

"Hoy te quiero Adorar"...Es una de nuestras canciones favoritas; porque, Es, "Una conversación que se emite entre "Uno mismo y Dios". Es ese momento, en el que uno logra determinar, "cual era nuestra condición, y quienes eramos, antes; Quienes somos después de encontrarles; Cual es el papel, que viene a jugar "El", en nuestras vidas; Y cual ha de ser nuestra actitud, después de obtener esta importante convicción.
