I started writing this song to encourage those who are disappointed with the body they were born with, and then I heard on the news about Tim Bosma a Christian man, who was murdered in Ancaster which touched my heart and I added a part of my heart from this in the song. Tim leaves behind a young wife and 2 year old daughter. They were only married for approx. 3 years. This Christian family and their church has shown such strength during their time of loss. This is a Christ centered song, based on Job 19:25 & Job 42 v 1-5. Job has gone through some real trials that are almost incomprehensible. He didn't have the the book of Job to refer to for guidance and understanding. He was living the book of Job. Fellow Christian, those who have placed their trust on the finished work at the cross of Calvary where Christ paid the penalty for our sins, we are all in our own story, and if you are getting discouraged as we all do at times, remember what Job said in Job 19:25 "But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and that he will stand on the earth at last." He said this in the midst of his trial, not at the end of it. Everyone faces troubles, some more than others but we can say "I know that my redeemer lives." This song was one that I wrote a little while after our 34 year old son Matt home going when he died from cancer. He was a believer and now his faith has given way to sight, we'll see him soon. It is difficult to understand the whole picture that our Lord is painting with our lives, we only see pieces of it and some those pieces don't make much sense to us but one day they will, and then we'll say it was worth it all. May this be a blessing to you.
