Pastor Robert Shank
Robert Shank is the Senior Pastor of Light of the Valley Calvary Chapel in Van Nuys, California. Raised in a Christian home, Robert attended First Evangelical Free Church of Fullerton for 22 years, but it was during the summer of 1992 at Forest Home Christian Camp that he personally surrendered his life to Jesus Christ.
In 2003, Robert graduated from Calvary Chapel Bible College with a Bachelor’s degree in Theology. He has been part of Calvary Chapel churches since 2000 and has served at Light of the Valley Calvary Chapel since 2012. In 2020, Robert became the senior pastor, where he continues to faithfully teach the Word of God verse by verse.
Robert and his beautiful wife, Meg, have been married since 2001 and have four children. His greatest passions are studying and teaching the Word of God, equipping the church, evangelism, missions, and defending the sanctity of human life. He has a special heart for gospel-centered outreach, including missions in Mexico and ministry to women, men, and families facing pregnancy decisions. His desire is to see people come to know Jesus personally, grow in the truth of Scripture, and live fully surrendered lives for the glory of God.
