Sean McDowell is a gifted communicator with a passion for equipping the church, and in particular young people, to make the case for the Christian faith. Sean is an Associate Professor in the Christian Apologetics program at Talbot School of Theology at Biola University. He is the Resident Scholar for Summit California.

Sean still teaches one high school Bible class, which helps him have exceptional insight into the prevailing culture so he can impart his observations poignantly to fellow educators, pastors and parents alike. Sean is listed among the top 100 apologists. He graduated summa cum laude from Talbot School of Theology with a Master’s Degree in Theology and another in Philosophy. He earned a Doctorate in Apologetics and Worldview Studies in 2014 from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Dr. Jeff Schwarzentraub serves as the Senior Pastor of BRAVE Church in Denver, Colorado, where he is boldly committed to preaching the Word of God, spreading the gospel, and advancing Christ’s Kingdom through the local church. Since its founding in 2010 with just a handful of people, BRAVE has grown into a multi-campus movement—welcoming thousands each week across three physical locations and an expanding global online campus. BRAVE also reaches behind prison walls, launching campuses within the Department of Corrections as part of its mission to take the gospel to every person, in every place, no matter the cost.

Driven by a call to preach the Word without compromise, Pastor Jeff also founded Pastor Jeff Ministries—a national and global ministry designed to equip believers and challenge them to take their next step of faith. His daily radio program airs across all 50 states on over 400 stations, including SiriusXM, boldly proclaiming the gospel and calling people to live with clarity and conviction in a culture of confusion and compromise. Listen to Pastor Jeff Ministries weekdays at 10:30 am on 99.5 KKLA.  He also trains pastors around the world, especially in regions where gospel ministry is dangerous and costly.

He is joyfully married to his wife, Kimberly, whose love, strength, and partnership have been the foundation of his life and ministry. Together, they are the proud parents of three incredible children who love Jesus and are stepping into their own callings. Pastor Jeff considers his family his greatest earthly blessing and is committed to leading them with intentionality, courage, and unwavering faith. Whether at home or in ministry, he lives to leave a legacy of wholehearted devotion to Christ.

The Harvest Worship Band is based in Southern California and provides the worship experience for Harvest Church every Sunday, and is one of the bands that participate in the Harvest Crusade events.

In July 2023, Harvest Worship debuted its first single, “Just Want Jesus,” a memorable, upbeat song with an anthemic chorus that boldly declares that nothing matters more than Jesus in this life.

Since then, Harvest Worship has been releasing new worship songs on a monthly basis, including “Have You Met My Jesus” featuring GRAMMY award-winning artist Chris Tomlin.  Their latest single, “Even At My Worst (You Love Me),” features Harvest Worship leader Vanessa Marquez.

Steve Wilburn is the founding pastor of Core Church Los Angeles, launched in 2010 with his wife, Laurie, on the Westside of LA. With a passion for preaching the Gospel and a commitment to teaching God’s Word with boldness and relevance, Steve brings messages that are both challenging and engaging. His enthusiastic style and deep-rooted biblical knowledge resonate with people from all walks of life.

Steve gave his life to Christ at the age of 18 after a turbulent season following his parents’ divorce. Having experienced the emptiness of life apart from God, he now holds tightly to the Bible as the ultimate truth and guide. It was at church that he met Laurie—his wife of over 40 years. Together, they’ve raised four children and enjoy the blessings of ten grandchildren.

Before planting Core Church, Steve served as an associate pastor at Harvest Christian Fellowship under Pastor Greg Laurie for 15 years. Today, his teaching ministry reaches even further through daily and weekly radio broadcasts aired on multiple stations across the country.

Steve’s life and ministry are defined by his unwavering dedication to the truth of Scripture and his desire to see lives transformed by the power of the Gospel.  Listen to Pastor Steve on Core Truth, weekdays at 5:30 pm on 99.5 KKLA.

The youngest of four children, Pastor Ronald C. Hill was raised in the small town of Pittsburg, Texas. When he was 8 years old he accepted Jesus Christ into his life, but experienced little spiritual growth. After graduating from high school, he joined the United States Navy and completed two tours of duty in Vietnam. In 1967, he was honorably discharged and moved to Los Angeles, California where he worked in the Aircraft Industry. The following year, he accepted a job with the Southern California Transit District.

In 1972, Pastor Hill rededicated his life to God. Shortly thereafter, the Lord instructed him to quit his job and go into ministry full time. A year later, the Lord opened a door for Pastor Hill to become the first African-American minister to serve as chaplain with the Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles. From 1973 to 1980, Pastor Hill also served as an
Evangelist and Chaplain with the Los Angeles County Probation Department.

In November of 1981, the Lord led Pastor Hill to found the Love and Unity Christian Fellowship. Beginning this ministry with only his wife Osie, their small children and five church members, this fellowship of believers has impacted their community for Christ growing into a membership of over 3,500 members. Love and Unity Christian Fellowship is located in Compton, an urban community widely known for its drugs, gang violence, and poverty.

Through hard work and being faithful to God’s calling upon his life, Pastor Hill has the led the Love and Unity congregation into the importance of evangelism outside the four walls of the church. The Love and Unity Christian Fellowship has knocked on the door of every home in the city of Compton at least three times hoping to reach the community for Christ.

Listen to Pastor Hill's Sunday Sermon series, every Sunday at 8:00 am and 9:15 pm on 99.5 KKLA.

Gary Derechinsky grew up in an Orthodox Jewish home in New Jersey before giving his life to Yeshua at the age of 17. He then served as pastor of New Hope Chapel in Annapolis, Maryland for 18 years (1993-2009), while teaching Bible to middle and upper school students at the Annapolis Area Christian School.
