The ABCs of Salvation of Jesus Christ

The ABC's of Salvation :

A-Admit you are a sinner.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
We were all born sinners, that is why we must be born again spiritually to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

B-Believe Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10).
This scripture is tying into the belief of the Gospel of Grace :
"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand.
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures.
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures." (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

C-Call Upon the Name of the Lord.
None of us are perfect, that is why we need Jesus in our lives.
"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one." (Romans 3:10)
BUT Romans 10:13 states that "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

WORKS will not save you. Only by putting your full faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, you will be saved.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
(Ephesians 2:8-9).

The Flip the Script Motivational Challenge

Are you ready for the flip the script challenge?
If you had to write and direct the movie of your life, what would your future look like?
Well let’s get going, there’s no time to waste, are you ready?
Let’s create it!
Now, you’re going to use your imagination and have some fun
But remember, just like Neo in the Matrix, you’re the one
See all matter is like planets, and you’re the sun
All actors will respond to your direction
When things go wrong, you won’t point the finger at
Or blame anyone
You’ll take charge, cause you’re a boss and you’re living large
Now think of all of the things that you desire
Think about how you’re constantly rising higher
Say “I now have financial freedom”
“I now have inner joy”
“I’m living my best life, a life that I enjoy”
Repeat:
“I now have financial freedom”
“I now have inner joy”
“I’m living my best life, a life that I enjoy”
You’re going to need a lot of assistance on the set
Along with the actors that you direct
You are the director and star, a co-star you must hire
At your casting call someone wants to audition for the villain, but the devil is a liar
Cause as you maintain a laser beam focus on your dreams and your gifts
You will simply ignore all antagonist
You’ll put blinders on like a thoroughbred
Focus on your goal a go straight ahead
Now back to the people who you will direc
Vision your dream house and hire an architect
Your new set will reflect your new neighborhood
Where the scenery is perfect and the people are good
Have the props manager give you your favorite cars
And the wardrobe consultant, a wardrobe designed for a star
Vision receiving your advance, salary and royalties, as the executive producer of the flick
And if the lead character has trials and tribulations, make sure he or she never quits
And If the star has a major difficulty, he or she must conquer it!
Stay focused in your movie, even in the midst of the drama
Keep joy in your heart like Oprah, and peace like the Dali Llama
Make sure your content with your script and blueprint
Read it every day to stay on course and make adjustments
And now, that your assignments in alignment
Lights camera action!
You’re now building the future that you will be in.

By The Pool of Bethesda

*The first 40 seconds of this video is intentionally a black screen - you will see the video soon! )

I'll never forget the day I heard a pastor say, "You do know that when Jesus went to the pool of Bethesda, he didn't heal everyone. What do you think about "that" Jesus?"
I couldn't get that out of my mind. Later, I was sweeping the floor of our house while "The Lord's Prayer" was playing on a CD. I was visualizing a leper by the pool watching Jesus stroll on by as they held out their hand for help, and this little story washed over me in time to the music. Forgive the poor acting, but the message is what is important. Yes, God loves us and takes no joy in our sufferings. But our eternal salvation is his ultimate concern and in the end, the most essential healing.

Curious Sea Lion Steals Fish From Boat

This curious sea lion steals fish from a boat, and what a story these folks now have! A sea lion. Yes, a sea lion. And look at the size of this wild animal. We’ve seen it before in children, or maybe from our dog. When they think no one is looking, they may try to sneak a cookie from the jar, a snack before dinner, or otherwise break some rule they know about. Well, what do you do when a sea lion is somewhere they shouldn’t be? What if that sea lion is taking things from you that it shouldn’t? And what if that sea lion sees you and does not care? This curious sea lion got a bit too curious, and a bit too hungry. Not only did the animal hop on board this boat, but also gulped down the bait fish these people had. On board the ship was a couple, 29-year-old Mariah Bechdtel-Occhi and her fiancé. They were near Cabo San Lucas, Mexico fishing with friends. On their way back to the marina is when someone else decided to join them, someone uninvited. And yet, certainly and hungrily attending. “As soon as the sea lion hopped on board, I screamed bloody murder,” Mariah admitted. Despite her initial reaction, they allowed the animal to stay and filmed it in action. Trying to chase the animal off may have resulted in a different kind of video. Instead, they filmed and watched as the sea lion ate their bait. The animal looks pretty content eating, very much uncaring about the humans. This sea lion saw food and that’s all that mattered. “How did they know that it’s in there?” Mariah asked her fiancé. A good question that went without answer during their trip. Thankfully, everything worked out. Aside from losing some bait fish, the sun still shone brightly on those scenic blue waters. And they have quite a story to share with others now.

Kelly Clarkson Holds Back Tears As Garth Brooks Sings 'The Dance'

Kelly Clarkson can’t help but hold back tears as country music star Garth Brooks sings ‘The Dance’ on her show. Some songs are so powerful that they take on a whole new meaning in times of tragedy. People turn to them for strength and hope in the face of adversity and loss. Kelly Clarkson hung onto ‘The Dance.’ She held back tears as Garth Brooks sang, ‘The Dance’ on her show. After gushing and downright fangirling over Garth’s song, he made her dreams come true when he came to her show and performed on stage. The pair not only talked about music, but they also talked about life experiences that go into their music. She said, “After listening to my playlist and hearing ‘The Dance,’ she said it made her realize that, “that is how I was feeling.” Kelly admitted she was ashamed and saddened to be going through a divorce. She had tried incredibly hard for seven years to make her marriage work but in the end, she did what she thought was best to protect her children. Unlike other individuals who are bitter about these types of heartbreaking circumstances, she felt there were additional feelings she couldn’t define until Garth’s song began to play. “I kid you not, I was listening to my playlist and ‘The Dance’ came on and that’s the thing,” Clarkson explained. “I literally, it’s not like your song, like a rip-off, but I literally wrote this whole thing therapeutically for me, and it’s actually on my next album,” Clarkson told Brooks. “It’s the whole kind of come around…the little tag part is, ‘even though my heart is broken it was worth the dance anyway.’” This song was therapeutic for her in the darkest hours of her divorce. God was definitely on the move when he provided Kelly comfort that He knew would speak to her heart. The song was written in 1990 and it became one of the most iconic songs by Garth of all time. While most people assume the song is about a relationship gone bad, Garth said it’s more than that. It’s about the bigger picture. It’s about life. Indeed, isn’t that the truth? Even when we are hurting in the middle of our present circumstances, God is holding us and leading us forward into the bigger picture of life. He sees the bigger picture from beginning to end. "Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely." 1 Corinthians 13:12

12-Year-Old Cries Playing Organ After Dad Recovers From COVID-19

There are millions of words to describe our feelings but sometimes words just aren't enough. Especially when you’re going through hard times and you weren’t sure what the outcome would be. One 12-year-old boy cried while playing the organ for his dad after he recovered from Covid-19. In March of this year, Johnnie Clark of California surprised his son with a piano, promising his son, Shyon, they would have plenty of time to play together. And that’s what they did for four hours every day. Shayon played on the organ and his dad, sitting next to him as he played the piano. But like many other families throughout the pandemic, his father tested positive for COVID-19. "It made me extremely sad because I couldn't see him and we weren't able to be together. But I continued to play the organ by myself because I didn't want to forget the songs he taught me," Shyon said. But by the grace of God, Johnnie kept his promise to return home after beating the virus. The next day, Shyon sat down at the organ to show his dad just how he felt. As he played ‘Deliver Me,’ Shyon broke down in tears. He stopped playing and used his t-shirt to wipe his cheeks. He was so overcome with relief that his dad and best friend made it home. "I started to tear up because at one point I thought I was never going to see my dad again, but he was 'delivered.' So I just let it all out and I couldn't hold my tears back," he said. While he was playing for his father, his parents did what all proud parents do, they whipped out their phones to record their son playing. Despite his tearful moment, his parents posted the video, moved by their son’s heartfelt performance. But what they didn’t expect was for the simple, sweet video to go viral! So far, it’s had more than 700,000 views before being posted to Color Coded Media and Good Morning America. Nothing is more precious than the love of a father, and Shyon captured this beautifully with his emotions and performance. What an incredible display of love! "The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him." Psalm 103:13

Viral Teen Sensation Sings A Cappella Cover Of 'Sing' By Pentatonix

A Viral teen sensation sings an incredible a cappella cover of Pentatonix’ ‘Sing’ that you just have to hear! Take a look around the famous school building used as the setting for ‘High School Musical’ as viral teen sensation, Lyza Bull, sings an a cappella cover of ‘Sing’ by Pentatonix. In this video, member of One Voice Children’s Choir, Lyza Bull, sings, raps, and dances her way through famous Utah high school, East High. As they explore East High, Lyza and her dancers from The Dance Club perform an acapella cover to the popular Pentatonix song, ‘Sing.’ Just raise your voice and bring the noise and sing it (Whoa, sing!) Sing for your mama, sing for your daughter (Sing!) Sing for you sisters, misters, best friends, brother (Sing!) The camera follows Lyza through the different classrooms, gymnasiums, and hallways of East High, as she and her fellow ‘students’ perform a dance routine choreographed by Shaundee Bull, Lyza’s mother. The dancing starts as the students are seated at their desk and as the music progressively ‘makes them lose control‘ they break out into more extravagant dances, dance battles, and other impressive stunts. Amongst all the different dancers is even Lyza‘s real life sister, Evelyn Grace. Disney fans will recognize the East High for being in the 2006 hit movie ‘High School Musical,‘ and both of its sequels. East High claims in the summer of 2007 they had forty to fifty fans come each day to visit the iconic campus. Lyza has been releasing music to the public since she was 13, which led to her receiving the Utah Music Award for Best New Artist Under 18 in 2017. Lyza’s parents claim Lyza has loved singing her whole life, singing as early as she was able to speak. "Oh sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth!" Psalm 96:1

Powerhouse Vocalist Bailey Rae Sings 'Sweet Music Man' From Kenny Rogers

Ah, the Voice. We love the show for the incredible new artists. We also love the show for various performances of our favorite songs. One such artist did not disappoint. Powerhouse vocalist Bailey Rae sings 'Sweet Music Man' from Kenny Rogers and it is incredible! Bailey Rae grew up in Oklahoma accustomed to the rodeo lifestyle and always had a love for anything country but her true passion has always been music. She started singing in church and by the time she was thirteen, she was traveling the country and performing in opries. Through her blessed talent, she became the 2020 Ambassador for the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame which is no small feat. Now that she made it onto The Voice, she is the first country singer to ever join John Legend's team. Blake Shelton hoped to steal her. When she auditioned, she delighted the judges with her version of singing Lee Ann Womack’s “Does My Ring Burn Your Finger,” caught the ear of coach John Legend. Since then, Bailey has been working hard to make it to where she is today on the show. Earlier this year, she released her first two singles, “Never Been This Lonely,” and “I’m in Love.” But the gifted young lady stole the show when she won the wildcard instant save after competing against Team Kelly’s Tanner Gomes, Team Gwen’s Payge Turner and Team Blake’s Worth the Wait. Dressed in a white cowboy hat and fringe pantsuit, her voice crooned old country song lyrics but managed to make the song sound brand new. Her performance was lonely, lovely, sweet, and filled with passion. She had the audience’s approval with her performance as she gave a nod to Kenny Rogers who passed away earlier this year. Losing a loved one is never easy. Losing a legend can be even more difficult. May Kenny rest in peace and may God bring him comfort and may God continue to find favor with Bailey Rae’s musical talents! "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him." 1 John 3:1

God Finished The Work

Biblical Devotional Poem

In The Garden by Carl

I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear, falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses
And he walks with me
And he talks with me
And he tells me I am His own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known
He speaks and the sound of His voice
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing
And he walks with me
And he talks with me
And he tells me I am His own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known
I'll stay in the garden with Him
Though the night around me be falling
And He bids me go, through the voice of woe
His voice to me is calling
And He walks with me
And He talks with me
And He tells me I am His own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known

11-Year-Old Sings Live Rendition Of 'Hallelujah'

11-year-old Blake Walker stuns with this acoustic rendition of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah.’ The powerful song was originally released in 1984, but it wasn’t until Jeff Buckley released the song on his 1994 album, ‘Grace’ that the song really started to gain momentum. Since that time, it’s become a worldwide phenomenon and truly cemented itself in music history. Over the years, many artists have covered the tune, which sounds like a perfect blend of a rock ballad and a gospel song. “Well I've heard there was a secret chord That David played and it pleased the Lord But you don't really care for music, do you?” Today, young Blake Walker is putting his own spin on this modern day classic. You may recognize Blake from the viral Rise Up Children’s Choir and Junior Choir. Over the years, this talented choir has performed countless covers of worship songs and contemporary hits. All of these performances have garnered millions of views online. Now, Blake is striking out on his own with a stunning acoustic rendition of ‘Hallelujah.’ “Well it goes like this The fourth, the fifth, the minor fall and the major lift The baffled king composing Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah” From the arrangement to the vocals, this Leonard Cohen cover is absolutely amazing. It’s wonderful to hear such a young talent share his gift with the world. There’s no doubt that Blake is a great vocalist and I hope that we continue to hear more from this teen in the future.
