After living on the street, this sick dog transforms into a loving puppy, and it’ll warm your heart.
While out sightseeing, Charlotte caught sight of a ragged looking little dog. The image of a mangy puppy with most of its fur missing tugged at this woman’s heart. So, she did what any compassionate human would do.
Charlotte approached the sweet little pup and fed her food. She did this over a period of a few days before deciding the sweet little dog was ready to be rescued. After enlisting help from the locals, she bought a cage to help catch her. The next morning, the woman had little Delilah secured in the cage so that she would be able to get her help.
Because of her poor skin condition, Delilah immediately went into medical treatment. Overnight, she seemed to get better and the best part--she already had a mom waiting to take her home! Delilah’s new mom, Amelia, took one look at Delilah and knew she would have a forever home with her. After several weeks of treatment and lots of medication, Delilah’s fur started to grow back and so did her spirit.
When Amelia was finally able to bring her home, the puppy followed her around the house and became her shadow. Slowly, Lilah’s playful personality emerged as she continued to heal.
“She doesn’t make a great guard dog because she wants to meet everyone and play with everyone...but I hit the jackpot with Lilah,” Amelia said. As her bond grew with her owner, so did her story. Today Delilah has her own Instagram page with over 12,000 followers who adore her miracle story! You can find photos of her enjoying life as a dog who is well-loved and honored as one of God’s creatures!
“Of David. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.” Psalm 103:1-5

Jeopardy guest host Ken Jennings shares an emotional tribute to Alex Trebek and it has us all wiping away a tear.
In March of 2019, fan-favorite television personality Alex Trebek announced to the world that he had been diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Despite the grim prognosis, he pledged to continue hosting Jeopardy and mustering up all of his strength to defeat the cancer.
For a year and a half, Alex fought with all his might and continued to update his fans throughout the journey. Sadly, Alex lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on November 8, 2020.
One of Alex’s hopes was that Jeopardy would continue to live on past his death. Today, Jeopardy champion Ken Jennings is stepping onto the stage as a temporary guest host. Ken became a household name after achieving the longest winning streak on Jeopardy with 74 consecutive wins. Since that time, he’s returned to the famous stage for various championship contests and to mentor other contestants.
But this time, it’s very different because Alex Trebek is not standing at the podium as host.
Before the competition was underway, Ken had to share a few touching words. “Sharing this stage with Alex Trebek was one of the greatest honors of my life. Not many things in life are perfect, but Alex did this job pretty much perfectly for more than 36 years. “
There is no doubt that Alex left a lasting legacy as one of the greatest game show hosts in history. And his unfailing kindness in the face of opposition will never be forgotten.

14-year-old Keren Montero earns the coveted golden buzzer with her awe-inspiring performance of ‘Rise Up’ on Dominicana's Got Talent.
This powerful song was originally released by Andra Day in 2015. The tune climbed the Billboard charts and it was even was nominated for Best R&B Performance at the 58th Grammy Awards.
Years later, the song continues to be an anthem of strength and courage in the face of adversity.
“You're broken down and tired
Of living life on a merry go round
And you can't find the fighter
But I see it in you so we gonna walk it out
And move mountains”
Today, young Keren Montero is touching the hearts of the judges as she belts out the words of ‘Rise Up’ on Dominicana’s Got Talent. Keren is only 14 but she possesses a talent well beyond her years. After just a few notes, the performers backstage are completely stunned. Everyone had to stop and take another look at this powerhouse vocalist and her winning performance.
“And I'll rise up
I'll rise like the day
I'll rise up
I'll rise unafraid
I'll rise up
And I'll do it a thousand times again”
We later learned that Keren got her start singing in church but she was full of nerves as she stepped on the DGT stage. But that all disappeared the moment she started singing and Keren even earned the golden buzzer from one inspired judge. What a wonderful beginning for such an amazing voice. Who else wants to hear more from this teen talent?
One talent deputy is making noise online and it’s going viral. Deputy Brissett started an epic dance-off after being called for a noise complaint. But what he found wasn’t a domestic disturbance or someone blaring their TV too loud. He found a gym full of little dancers on Christmas Eve.
Instead of citing them for a disturbance and instead of kicking them out, he did something no one expected. He joined them! He started a dance-off!
The deputy walked into the building relaxed and then initiated a dance-off. Despite wearing an officer’s belt, a bulletproof vest, and uniform, he showed off some pretty impressive moves the Pensacola Prancing Pirouettes were not expecting. The gym full of teenage girls loved it and it made them feel special too! He even gets his wild moves right on the beat to the music!
Who knew officers could be that agile and flexible? Shortly after the Pirouettes posted the video to their Facebook page, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office followed suit and shared the video saying, “Deputy Brissett has some moves!” After seeing the video, we can all attest to his amazing dance skills.
The Sheriff’s department has a unique relationship with the community. Rather than only enforce the law, they have come alongside the community to develop relationships and better connections.
This video shows how “community” was emphasized where officers are encouraged to positively interact with the people in which they serve — dance battle and all.
Deputy Brissett’s epic dance-off is just one of many examples. You can even see in the video, how the teens flock to the door when he arrives. It’s obvious, he is not only their protector but a friend. What an inspiring way to build up a community!
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”

A 2-year-old amputee toddler takes his first steps, and it’s so inspirational!
I’m not crying, you’re crying! Grab a tissue and be prepared for inspiration and cuteness overload as one man proves there are still good humans in this world.
Blake Leeper, a paralympic, inspired two-year-old KJ Dyer to take his first steps on his prosthetic. KJ’s parents thought this appointment would be purely medical and their son would get fitted with his prosthetic. They also assumed he would be assisted by his doctors and staff to help him get used to walking on it.
What KJ and his parents didn’t know was that KJ wouldn’t be taking his first steps by himself. He would have a friend who was just like he was. At the end of the hallway, paralympic star, Blake Leeper cheers on two-year-old KJ Dyer as he tests out his prosthetics for the very first time.
Check out the connection between the pair. Blake showed KJ he was just like him.Blake knew what it was like to have prosthetics for the first time and wanted to show KJ support and that he’s not on his journey alone.
“I got my legs on now,” Blake said.. “Come on!” Blake then showed little KJ his legs are the same. “You’re doing great! you’re doing awesome,” said Blake, encouraging KJ every step of the way.
“We had the opportunity to meet Blake Leeper and it was just an amazing experience for us as parents and for KJ getting to see somebody to inspire him,” said his mom Chelsea.
And now Chelsea is busy trying to keep with her son who is on the run. She said, he is “doing great and he only had to have the walker the first day and ever since we’ve been home, he’s been a very determined boy.”
Later Blake sent a video message to little KJ “Keep fighting buddy. The next time I see you we’re going to race. You better be ready!”
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11
After winning Britain's Got Talent five years ago, superstar musician, Calum Scott, returned to the stage to perform 'You Are The Reason' with previous BGT contestants, the MerseyGirls dance team.
In one of the most dazzling musical performances in the history of BGT, two previous contestants, Calum Scott and the MerseyGirls, shared an incredibly festive stage for the Christmas special of Britain's Got Talent.
As the camera moves around an elaborate and beautiful winter wonderland stage, we see the choreographed MerseyGirls surrounding a throne of ice. The camera proceeds to pan to a side stage with large decorated Christmas trees and Christmas presents, revealing a very formally dressed Calum Scott singing his very own, 'You Are The Reason' alongside the accompanying pianist.
And if I could turn back the clock
I'd make sure the light defeated the dark
I'd spend every hour, of every day keeping you safe
As Calum sings, the judges and the audience watch intently as the MerseyGirls dance to the music. In their matching winter-themed costumes, the girls and the icy background behind them blend well together, creating a very graceful and serene atmosphere.
When asked about the story behind the song, Calum stated, "You Are the Reason” started out as a song about something completely different than what it is now. It was originally written from a fragile place of anxiety and not knowing the cause of it, so the song started to become “Without A Reason”. But as we carried on writing, we realized how every relationship has difficult times but you stick with it because the love you fundamentally feel for the other person overrides everything else.”
This song and its meaning remind us that we won't always be able to handle every situation, but that the love and support of others can give us the reason we may need to conquer anything.
"Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy." Psalm 33:3
