Check out these beautiful wild horses reunite after being apart for 2 years! In this video, one woman shares her story of how she adopted a horse named Phoenix and then spent the next few years trying to find his mare. “I saw this photograph of Phoenix jumping over a barrier and I’ve never seen anything like that. I decided to find and adopt him,” she shared. “A whole year later, I was finally able to adopt him, but I couldn’t find the mare who was also in the picture. I always looked for his mare and I never saw her.” Then, after a few years, the woman was finally able to locate Phoenix’s mare! She shares about how she ended up naming her Ghost and reuniting her with Phoenix. “Couple of months ago, someone sent me a picture of a horse and I stopped and I looked. I had the picture of Phoenix’s mare on one side and her picture on the other side,” she said. “I’m looking here and looking there. ‘Oh, see has brown ears. Oh, she has brown from her knees down. It’s her.’ A horse I never thought I’d see again. It was like seeing a ghost after 2 years of looking for this horse. So, that’s where she got her name.” Phoenix and Ghost are eventually reunited, and their reunion was such a sweet sight to see! “We waited a couple of weeks and then we brought Ghost down and we opened the gate. Phoenix was on the other side of the hill, but he heard her and he came trotting over the hill. You hear him call to her, when he first sees her. He looked at her and it was almost like he couldn’t believe it. They both bend their necks into each other, breathing each other in, just to make sure, ‘It’s really you.’” What a heartwarming story! And how wonderful to know that Phoenix and Ghost are now together again and will be able to grow old together.

As Christians know, sometimes the birth of a baby is nothing short of a miracle. A 12-ounce premature baby defies odds and thrives. Not only was the baby teeny tiny, but being born prematurely was also not a good sign. Naturally, everyone--parents, doctors, friends--would be worried about this child’s health. This little girl, Diana, was born at 22 weeks of gestation and weighed a mere 12-ounces. Her mother Jomary was put on bedrest earlier than most mothers. Doctors told her she was dilating, just midway through pregnancy. “I was freaking out throughout the whole pregnancy. I thought it was so surreal and when I got to this point, I was like, ‘Oh my God. Okay, so here it is. This is where things maybe don’t go right.’” When the time for delivery came upon her, instead of being overwhelmed with joy, there was a realization that health complications for the baby were likely. Two weeks later from her time on bed rest, Jomary gave birth. Ironically and appropriately, this happened on Mother’s Day. “I was very excited until I saw her and I saw how small she was. And the doctors were not giving us too much hope,” she admitted about her child’s birth. Her husband, Federico Peguero, added, “I looked at her and I just shook my head like, ‘She’s really small. She is honestly the smallest human being I’ve ever seen.’” In addition to the doubts of the doctors, the couple was not sure about their newborn’s future. Dr. Thaiz Queliz and other neonatologists believed Diana had not actually developed for fewer than the 22 weeks they’d originally believed. He remarked on her skin being “gelatinous” and even “translucent”. Doctors used a breathing tube to help resuscitate the child. This procedure works quickly for most babies, but not for Diana. Still, Federico told the doctors to, “Give Diana a chance.” And they worked to try and support the child. Jomary regarded that Mother’s Day as “bittersweet.” She had a child but did not know if she would tomorrow. The doctors and the couple decided to monitor Diana’s progress slowly, knowing that her life was less than guaranteed. They set milestones for the child, first a day, then three, then two weeks, trying to be ready for the moment that the baby may not survive. Weeks have now turned into months. Dr. Thaiz Queliz said that he and the staff had to amend their protocols and guidelines to meet Diana’s needs. Their efforts paid off. Diana was eventually released in time for her dad’s birthday. At home, they could breathe a sigh of relief and felt much gratitude. Jomary said the hardest part of the experience was not knowing if she would be able to leave the hospital with her child as she had seen other mothers do. Now, she has that blessing. May God continue to bless Diana, helping her to grow in health. And may He guide Jomary and Federico as they navigate life with a different, but no less special baby girl named Diana.

There's no story more heartwarming than that of the deployed sailor returning from duty to surprise his family. No matter how many times we see it, the anticipation, excitement, and surprise of the reunion never fail to pull heartstrings. Petty Officer 2nd Class, Austin Maple, was packing up and saying his goodbyes on the night before his three-month deployment aboard a US Naval ship, when his wife, Emma, decided to surprise him with the news that she was pregnant. The couple was shocked and excited for the arrival of their first child, but as time went on Austin’s three-month deployment soon seemed like it could last much longer. Just as their time away felt like it was coming to an end, Emma received a call that her husband’s deployment had to be extended. Six excruciating extensions later, and the couple began to believe Austin might not make it home in time for the birth of their first child. Then on one lucky day at four in the morning, Austin was told he would finally be sent back home to see the birth of his child. Austin waited excitedly by the phone for it to be morning back home, and called his mother-in-law once she had woken up so they could make a plan to surprise Emma. “We didn’t want to surprise her too much, because we didn’t want to accidentally make her go into labor,” Austin said when asked about the plan to surprise Emma. Emma’s mom secretly left a key out for Austin, and once he was waiting outside, she told the unsuspecting Emma to check the front porch for a package that had come for her. When she opened the front door, Emma was so overwhelmed with emotion she called out for “mommy.” Just a few weeks after Austin’s return, Emma gave birth to a happy and healthy baby boy, Colton with Austin by her side! What an incredible blessing. "Friends love all the time, and kinsfolk are born for times of trouble." Proverbs 17:17

To kick off a new season of the United Kingdom’s singing competition ‘The Voice,’ some of the judges surprised fellow judge, Sir Tom Jones, with an emotional birthday message from friend and fellow musician, Stevie Wonder. Welsh singer, Sir Tom Jones, rose in popularity in the 1960s following the release of a number of very successful songs. Soon after being signed to a record label in 1964, Tom found international fame after the release of one of his most famous songs, ‘It's not unusual.’ When ‘The Voice UK’ celebrity judges, Will.I.Am, Olly Murs, and Anne Marie questioned the UK’s own Sir Tom Jones about his musical inspirations, Jones cited Gospel singers as well as rock singers such as Jerry Lee Lewis and even described the legendary Stevie Wonder as a good friend and a great musician. Little did Jones know he was being set up for an 80th birthday surprise from Stevie Wonder himself! The attention then shifted from Jones to the big screen, displaying a larger than life Stevie Wonder with harmonica in hand. After a short introduction, including a harmonica solo and a happy birthday directed to Jones, Stevie began to sing one of Jones’ most iconic songs, ‘It’s Not Unusual.’ During this performance, we can see Sir Tom Jones’ face light up with joy seeing his old friend paying homage to his music in celebration of his birthday. "It's not unusual to go out at any time But when I see you out and about it's such a crime If you should ever want to be loved by anyone It's not unusual" Following this performance we see an emotional Jones fighting back tears as Stevie describes his gratitude for the friendship the two have shared ever since they met on Jones’ TV show. Reba McEntire tears up as LeAnn Rimes sing’s ‘The Greatest Man I Never Knew,’ and when you hear it, you’ll understand why. Over the last few decades, Reba has recorded her fair share of sad songs over the years, perhaps none more so than “The Greatest Man I Never Knew.” The song was written by Richard Leigh and Layng Martine, Jr. and released in 1991. The song was partially inspired by songwriter Richard Leigh’s relationship with his father. It was written and told from the perspective of a now-grown child reflecting on her relationship with her father. And as some fathers do, the father in this song cared about his daughter but he was so overworked that he never let it show. At the end of the song, as Reba sings the last few notes, it reveals that the father passed away the year before. She realizes that he never told her he loved her, prompting the heartbreaking final line, “Guess he thought I knew.” The song instantly became one of Reba’s greatest hits. But then LeAnn Rimes took it one step further. To honor Reba, LeAnn sang the song as a tribute during the Country Music Awards. The crowd was instantly moved by LeAnn’s performance and Reba’s emotional reaction! The beauty of LeAnn’s raw beauty in her voice and her investment in the performance made it outstanding. In the video, she could be seen fighting back tears at several points as managed to keep her composure. What hit Reba and the crowd the hardest? Reba had brought her parents to the event and she was sitting next to her dad. While many people assumed the song portrayed the relationship with her father in real life, that was false. Her relationship with her own father was full of love and it was her ability to portray the song’s hidden heartache that made it one of the biggest hits of Reba’s career. “Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Check out this work from home couple who sings epic Disney duets. They are so talented that it’s no wonder their singing video went viral online! AJ Rafael and Alyssa Navarro live in Los Angeles, and the couple has been working remotely together in the same space since the pandemic began. During breaks in their day, the duo likes to sing duets of Disney classics. Some of the songs that they cover have been from The Little Mermaid, High School Musical, Tangled, and Mulan, just to name a few. “Working from home with Alyssa has been awesome,” AJ shares. “It’s actually been a seamless transition, I think, because we’re able to make it fun,” says Alyssa. “And also, you know, we’re able to just sing with each other and like mess around and joke around in between our meetings.” “Yeah, it has been fun having you as a co-worker,” AJ says with a smile. The Disney duets that this couple sings are absolutely magical, and they have such incredible harmonies! The first video that they made that went viral on the internet was their rendition of the song ‘Reflections’ from Mulan. That video alone accumulated millions of views on TikTok. AJ and Alyssa sound so amazing together, and it is great that they can use their talents to bring joy to their day as well as to others. “I feel like some of the days can get so mundane. And you know, doing the nine-to-five especially when there’s no disconnect when you’re working from home and you’re just doing the same thing every day. You wake up, you go to work, and then you just do it all over again,” says Alyssa. “But having music in our lives and being able to tap into that creative side makes it feel like life is worth living. And when we can do it together, it’s amazing.” AJ shares how he hopes their duets impact those who watch them. “I hope that it reminds people of that special magic from their childhood,” he says. What an incredibly talented couple using their gifts to spread magic and joy!
