Funny Dog Pretends To Have A Limp Just Like His Owner

In a time where isolation is somewhat inevitable, people around the world are increasingly appreciative of the companionship we find in our four-legged friends. Whether they are doing something silly, playing, napping, or whatever it is your pets do, they never cease to bring a smile to our faces.  Take for instance this video showing a dog walking with a limp alongside his human who recently broke his ankle. When the dog owner, Russell Jones broke his ankle and had to walk on crutches; he was surely not all too thrilled with the prospect of not being able to walk normally for a couple months.  Regardless of his injury, Russell continued to walk his pet greyhound, Billy, around his neighborhood so his pup would get his exercise.  Eventually, Russell became increasingly concerned when noticed his beloved dog was starting to walk with a limp himself, keeping his front left paw from touching the ground as he walked.  Because of this sudden limp, Russell decided to take his Billy to the veterinarian to find out what was causing him to keep the pressure off his front paw. After the vet visit, which included a $410 X-ray scan, the veterinarians concluded there was nothing wrong with the dog's paw. The perplexed owner returned home with a big vet bill and no answers.  Then one day, Russell saw Billy playing in the backyard. The pup was running full-speed with no visible limp at all. It was at that moment he realized what was causing the dog’s limp. The dog was only limping when he was around the injured Russell. The sweet pup was doing it out of empathy! While the owner was relieved that his dog was healthy, he still was amazed at the lengths his pet would go to show he cared for his human! In a 2018 study conducted at Johns Hopkins University, researchers concluded that dogs are prosocial and empathetic in behavior, meaning they want to help us and make us happy by nature. The study states many dogs show empathy if their owner is in distress and will also try and rescue them if the situation may arise.  Although this is all good news for the recovering Russell, I'm sure he would have liked to know all that before he spent $410 on Billy’s X-rays. "Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep." Romans 12:15

tHOLI Shoes Full Testimony

July 21st, 2019 The Holy Spirit gave Krista Brons a vision of a pair of shoes with a vial of oil next to the shoes. He told her, "It's time to make your shoes!" This video is the detailed journey of how she has stepped forward in obedience to make this vision come to life.

Please pray and ask if The Lord would have you sow seed "money" into tHOLI. Krista is now stepping into making the prototype of the shoe and sock. She is waiting for The Lord to provide the money to move forward and make the shoe.

Elderly Man With Severe Dementia Finds Joy In Day Care Across The Street

Some of us wake up rejoicing for the day the Lord has made, such as this elderly man with severe dementia. He’s been able to find joy on a daily basis right across the street from his home. And most astonishing, he never remembers the experience a day later. 91-year-old Gene McGeHee lives out in Vidalia, Louisiana. Across the way is a daycare where a fun bunch of kids spend their time. And what a blessing for him, the kids bring fun into his life also. “Everyday I cross the street and we meet again,” said the daycare teacher, Megan Nunez. They have met one another everyday for three years to date. His memory struggles go so far as to cause him difficulties recognizing even himself in pictures. When shown pictures of himself by his daughter, he sees someone else. A stranger. In addition to his struggle with dementia, Gene also suffers from loneliness, his daughter Cathy shared. What has helped has been those daycare children. “ Oh my goodness! They have been such a blessing to Daddy. And he lights up!” Cathy said with great enthusiasm. Every day the kids are at the daycare, Gene gets to spend around an hour with the kiddos, exchanging words, laughs, and hugs. “Everybody responds to love,” Cathy added about her father who forgets the children, but has developed a constant idea that being outside of his home is bound to bring some joyful experience. He doesn’t know what, but knows something will happen. His mind though unable to remember exactly what happened from the day before, still retains some feeling of the fun he had. That is love, according to Cathy. However sad his dementia has proven, there’s beauty that Gene has been able to find in his time with the children, maybe even beauty that the rest of us miss out on for taking such moments of joy for granted. His time with the children is extra special because he enjoys those moments each day as if it was his first encounter with them. Jesus told us life is like a mist. What if we thoroughly felt joy for even the smallest moments of life, the hours we see family, the hours we spend at church. We are blessed indeed, more than we will ever know. “Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” James 4:14

Trio Of Basses Sing 'Hallelujah'

A trio of basses beautifully sing ‘Hallelujah,’ and it sounds like pure wonder. Imagine with me, three individuals gifted with deep, melodic bass voices, and they get together to sing ‘Hallelujah.’ What you get is a trio of basses singing ‘Hallelujah’ that will blow your mind. The three men, Connor, Henry, and Dash formed the band Misty. They call themselves harmony and lyric makers with 31,000 followers on Youtube. They say their story begins when the three voices were forged together by notes that rattle the soul: low notes. One afternoon, they found a tunnel outdoors which had wonderful acoustic conditions, much better than any of their bathrooms. Naturally the guys couldn’t resist and they sang their first song together in that tunnel as they recorded the video titled, ‘The Misty Mountains Cold’ from the Hobbit. When COVID hit, the trio weren’t able to get together to sing. But they knew quitting wasn’t an option, so they tried several ways to sing with the use of technology. One of the gifts coming from social distancing was the ability to create their own music instead of singing covers. In the meantime, cover songs like the classic ‘Hallelujah’ shows what a tremendous gift they have blending their voices together. In fact, ‘Hallelujah’ is Hebrew for 'Praise ye the Lord', and Leonard's song explores the different kinds of Hallelujah we offer God in our suffering and joy. When Leonard Cohen first released Hallelujah, it was not an instant hit. Decades later, another artist would pick the song as a cover and make it immensely popular--including the band Misty with their incredible version. You have to watch to believe it! Those who have watched them Connor, Henry, and Dash perform the song have left comments that give you an idea just how amazing they sound. One commenter said, “Question here, do y'all give yourself chills while singing or is it just all of us? Love this!” Another added, “I've been waiting on y'all to sing this since y'all asked for suggestions a while back. It came out wonderfully, thank you!” “Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out, “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns.” Revelation 19:6

'Forever Young' Blind Audition Strikes A Chord With The Judges

During week 2 of ‘The Voice UK’s blind auditions, contestant, Joe Topping, struck a chord with a few of the judges in this performance of Bob Dylan’s classic rock hit, ‘Forever Young.’ Originally released in 1973, Bob Dylan’s ‘Forever Young’ was written as a lullaby for Dylan’s oldest son, Jesse, and included influences from the Old Testament book of Numbers. May God's bless and keep you always May your wishes all come true May you always do for others And let others do for you Bob Dylan included two versions of the song, a quick one and a slower, more sentimental one, on his fourteenth studio album, ‘Planet Waves.’ This album was the first to be released since Bob Dylan reunited with his original backing group, ‘The Band’, and the album found international success, reaching the number one position on the United States Billboard charts, number seven in the United Kingdom. When English singer-songwriter, Joe Topping, took ‘The Voice UK’s stage for the second week of blind auditions to perform ‘Forever Young’, he was surely hopeful to turn at least one of the star judge’s chairs. With his wife and children watching from backstage, Joe sang alongside the accompaniment of his guitar, to the enjoyment of both the audience and the judges. By the end of his performance Joe turned not one, but two chairs, and judging by the look on his family’s faces, they couldn’t be more proud. Joe’s musical sound was inspired by both the English folk clubs he grew up around, as well as the blues and Americana sounds of his adventures in the United states. Joe’s inspiring adventures in the United States included a great road trip, during which Joe drove all across the country living in a pickup truck. "Therefore whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them." Matthew 7:12

Leave It To Beaver Actors Reflect On Show's 60th Anniversary

Check out actors Jerry Mathers and Tony Dow from ‘Leave It To Beaver’ reflect about their time on the sitcom. Jerry Mathers and Tony Dow, who played Beaver and Wally on ‘Leave It To Beaver’ sat down with Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford of The Today Show to reminisce about their time on the beloved show. At the start of the segment, Hoda and Kathie welcome Jerry and Tony through a front door and hand them a packed lunch. This part of the interview was also filmed in black and white to be reminiscent of how ‘Leave It To Beaver’ looked when it aired on television. The show premiered on October 4, 1957 and ran for six seasons. And it has lived on in television reruns ever since. In fact, ‘Leave It To Beaver’ is the longest running show in television history. Jerry Mathers, who played the Beaver, had no idea that the show was going to be such a hit. “Every season we would think that we might not come back,” he shared. Later in the video, Jerry and Tony talked about how they both hit it off with each other as soon as they started filming for the show. They also shared about the TV parents. “It's so heartwarming to know that Tony and Jerry are close! They had a wonderful bond on the show as the show was really about the two of them as brothers,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the interview. “I love those guys! The show was the best and still is to this very day. God bless Wally & Beave,” writes another person online. We hope you enjoyed watching this video and it was able to take you down memory lane. Did you use to watch ‘Leave It To Beaver?’ What a great, wholesome show that the whole family could watch together!
