While everyone is staying at home during this quarantine, one teen decided to sing the Easter version of the song ‘Hallelujah’ in her driveway to uplift and encourage her neighbors. And she did such a wonderful job! The talented singer’s name is Amelia Kate. Her mom helped her set up a couple of speakers in their driveway so she would be able to project her voice throughout the neighborhood while she was singing these beautiful lyrics. “Three days went by again they came To move the stone to bless the slain With oil and spice anointing hallelujah But as they went to move the stone They saw that they were not alone But Jesus Christ has risen Hallelujah Hallelujah, hallelujah Hallelujah, hallelujah” “Thank y'all for sharing your gift from God and sharing it with your neighbors too,” one of the neighbors wrote after they posted a recording of Amelia singing on their Facebook page. “Your voice touched a lot of us today. Thank you, Amelia Kate, for lifting us up.” As Amelia Kate is singing, many of her neighbors can be seen stepping out onto their lawns, sitting in their driveways, and walking out onto the street in order to watch her perform. They all seem to be mesmerized by her beautiful voice and the wonderful truth that she is sharing in the lyrics. It is incredible to watch this young girl belt out these words and sing with so much passion behind each word. She is using her God-given talent to bring hope and joy to her community, and it is a heartwarming thing to see. What a wonderful way to share the Gospel with the people in her neighborhood! May we all take the words in this song to heart and remember what a beautiful gift we have in our Savior.

The incredible sounds of the One Voice Children’s Choir performs an inspirational rendition of ‘See You Again.’ These words remind us all that even though times may be tough, there is always a light at the end. “It's been a long day without you, my friend And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again We've come a long way from where we began Oh I'll tell you all about it when I see you again” The One Voice Children’s Choir is a talented group of youth with a mission to use their voices to spread positivity to the world. In 2019, they had the opportunity to perform in New York City where they appeared all around the city. As the Coronavirus hits NYC, the choir was devastated. “This video is full of memories for us. During social distancing, when we are so lonely for our friends, it has given us comfort and hope. We hope it will help our viewers, friends and fans too! One Voice Children's Choir is sending all of our love, positive energy and prayers to the strongest, most resilient city in the world.” “So let the light guide your way hold every memory As you go and every road you take will always lead you home” The world is grappling with a global pandemic and it causes so much fear and anxiety. But we can rest strong in our faith and know that there are better days to come. If we all stand together, with God by our side, there is nothing we cannot face.

In this creative and fun video, one person made a mashup of clips from 108 different movies and TV shows in order to explain what is happening in the world right now with COVID-19. “Ok, listen up people! We’re got a situation here.” These are the words that starts off this hilarious video. For the next few minutes, so many different clips have been put together in order to share what is going on because of the coronavirus. There are clips from TV shows that include Seinfeld, Will & Grace, The Office, and Parks & Rec. Then there are movie scenes from films that include Frozen, Harry Potter, The Lego Movie, Braveheart, and Footloose. There are even a few clips from music videos thrown into the mix. All the while, this mashup of video clips tells about the uniqueness of this crazy time. Like how the U.S. government started shutting down restaurants, how quarantine has the possibility of lasting till late May or early June, how we all need to wash our hands thoroughly and frequently, and how hard it can be to be productive while working at home. The video is perfectly done and must have taken forever to find all the right clips from so many different sources. But this creative way of sharing what has been happening in the world right now is a way to bring some lightheartedness and laughter to the situation. Coronavirus is definitely something to take seriously, but sometimes, sharing a smile with one another is the best way to make it through hard times. “I guess there’s only one thing left to do,” says the video at the very end. “Let’s dance!” Then a bunch of fun shots or people dancing flash across the screen followed by the last message in the video, “We will prevail.”

One virtual choir from a school in South Africa performs a beautiful rendition of the popular song ‘Hallelujah’ and shares the video online. “Well I've heard there was a secret chord That David played and it pleased the Lord But you don't really care for music, do you? Well it goes like this The fourth, the fifth, the minor fall and the major lift The baffled king composing Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah” The choir students are from the Roedean School in Parktown, Johannesburg. During this time where the world is sheltering at home because of the coronavirus, these students used their talents to virtually bring joy to others. “Apart in uncertain times, but together in spirit and song,” the school writes as a caption for this music video. “May our choir’s virtual performance of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah be a timely reminder that we are indeed #TogetherApart” At the beginning of the video, someone walks out to an empty performance hall and sits down at a piano. That person is later revealed to be the students’ choir director. Small videos of the students singing begin to slowly pop up onto the screen. They are all singing their own parts from the safety of their own homes, and they sound wonderful together. More videos of students continue to show up on the screen as they are singing the beautiful harmonies that go along with the main singer’s melody. While the students are singing, the video shows shots of their empty school. From the library, to the cafeteria, to the hallways lined with pictures of the students, every room is completely void of people. One of the shots show the marquee on the school that reads “Roedean School will be closed until further notice.” Despite not being together at their school, these students were still able to virtually come together to put on an inspiring and powerful performance. It just goes to show you that even while we’re forced to be apart right now, music can still bring the world together.

Legendary country singer Willie Nelson sits down with his two sons, Lukas and Micah, for a performance of ‘Turn Off The News And Build a Garden.’ As COVID-19 forces many people to remain in their homes, it can cause a lot of fear and anxiety. The message of this song reminds us all that there is still good all around us. “Turn off the news and build a garden Just my neighborhood and me We might feel a bit less hardened We might feel a bit more free” From a very young age, Lukas developed a love for music. He know that he wanted to turn this passion into a career and began writing his own songs and playing guitar when he was barely a teen. Now, he’s successful artist with a band of his own and the incredible talent to back it all up. Today, he’s joined by his father, Willie Nelson, and brother Micah for this special quarantine rendition of ‘Turn Off The News And Build A Garden.’ “Turn off the news and raise the kids Give them something to believe in Teach them how to be good people Give them hope that they can see Hope that they can see” In these troubling times, it’s important to remember the simple things in life and how much joy and hope can come from these small moments. This is a powerful message that I want to share with the world that Jesus loves you and by all this diseases and everything and earthquakes he is trying to get our attention that we must repent and turn from our wicked ways and believe in him. The end times are near and we need to hold on to the truth because it’s scary to fall in the hands of God. For all the unbelievers and everyone that Jesus is the truth and one day you will have to give an account for your whole life when judgement comes. Also Jesus wants us to love each other and get closer to our love ones in these times also.
