Enjoy this much-needed dose of nostalgia when Lucille Ball receives a surprise during The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.
Lucille Ball made a name for herself as the title character on the sitcom, I Love Lucy. Week after week, we followed along as Lucy got herself into the silliest situations along with her husband, Ricky, and neighbors Fred and Ethel.
This beloved show became a staple program for so many and cemented Lucille’s place in history. Following the success of I Love Lucy, Lucille starred in a series of other shows and formed the wildly successful Desilu Productions.
Even decades later, she is still remembered as one of the most iconic names in Hollywood with numerous awards and honors.
Today, we’re taking a look back at a 1974 interview with Lucille Ball on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. In this classic clip, Lucille speaks about her family and two children. At the time, her kids were grown and on their own.
That’s why it was such a welcome surprise when her son, Desi Arnaz Jr. showed up on the set. The smile on Lucille’s face says it all as she lights up seeing her son in person.
The sweet clip has been viewed over a million times already and the number is growing. One viewer wrote, “And all of these years later we still love Lucy.” Another said, “Stars like Lucille Ball will never be duplicated.”
All of these legendary stars in one room is just what I needed to see today.
Canadian figure skater Kaetlyn Osmond performs a breathtaking routine to ‘Hallelujah’ at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games.
Leonard Cohen’s rendition of ‘Hallelujah’ is one of the most popular songs of all time. The powerful song was originally released in 1984, but it wasn’t until Jeff Buckley released the song on his 1994 album, ‘Grace’ that the song really started to gain momentum. Since that time, it’s become a worldwide phenomenon.
Over the years, many artists have covered this powerful song, which sounds like a perfect blend of a rock ballad and a gospel song. Some notable covers include Bon Jovi, Pentatonix and Susan Boyle.
Today, Kaetlyn Osmond, a talented ice skater, is bringing this song to life in a whole new way. Taking the ice to Tori Kelly’s stunning version of ‘Hallelujah,’ Kaetlyn thrilled the crowd in Pyeong Chang.
Figure Skating is hands down one of the most elegant and mesmerizing sport and Kaetlyn is one of the best on the rink. The choreography was filled with flawless leaps, twirls, and jumps and we all know that it takes a special skill to be able to dance and glide on ice so effortlessly.
As the iconic words of ‘Hallelujah’ play, Kaetlyn moves in perfect sync with the beat. And you can tell that the audience is in complete awe. No wonder this routine is being seen all over the Internet. This performance was absolutely amazing and definitely one you will never forget. Who else saw this routine back in 2018?
An inspirational choir’s moving performance on Britain’s Got Talent earned them the golden buzzer with their ASL rendition of ‘This Is Me.’
Jade and her 4-year-old brother, Christian, are the founders of the Sing Along With Us choir. It all started when Jade found out that her younger brother may never be able to talk.
“We were told that Christian would never be able to communicate. I taught him sign language so then he could talk. And he’s here, a little miracle, proving everybody wrong,” shares Jade.
“I didn’t want to accept that Christian would never be able to communicate. I just knew that there was a voice in there that needed to come out,” Jade says. “We decided that we wanted to teach other people this, so we started a class. We’re just amazed at how many people wanted to get involved.”
That small group of people wanting to learn ASL grew into a huge choir, and they are using what Jade has taught them to show the audience what it truly means to be themselves.
“We would never normally get an opportunity to do something like this. It’s unbelievable. We’re just so excited,” says Jade.
At the start of their audition, the choir starts singing ‘This Is Me’ while Jade uses ASL from the front of the stage to sign the lyrics. Then the whole group joins Jade with ASL and starts signing the song.
“When the sharpest words wanna cut me down
I'm gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out
I am brave, I am bruised
I am who I'm meant to be, this is me
Look out 'cause here I come
And I'm marching on to the beat I drum
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apologies, this is me”
While they are performing, the audience members can’t stop smiling and cheering and many of the judges have tears in their eyes. After their moving performance, the judges have nothing but praise for the choir.
“You sang ‘This Is Me’ and I’m thinking, ‘You Are Us,’ because you define what this show should be all about,” Simon Cowell shares. “This is an audition that I will never, ever forget.”
It was so wonderful to see this inspirational group get a golden buzzer after they gave everything they had to this performance and shared such a positive message through their audition.
Kodi Lee, a singer and pianist who was a previous winner on America’s Got Talent, shares an uplifting performance of ‘Lean on Me’ with drummer Logan Sheppard.
In honor of Autism Awareness Month, these two musicians decided to put together a virtual collaboration of their talents. Kodi and Logan both have autism, and they wanted to make sure to use their talents this month to encourage and bring joy to those around them. They chose to do the popular song ‘Lean on Me’ in honor of Bill Withers, who wrote the beautiful song and recently passed away.
“Sometimes in our lives we all have pain
We all have sorrow
But if we are wise
We know that there's always tomorrow
Lean on me, when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
'Til I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on”
“During these difficult and troubling times, I am super happy to see Kodi Lee healthy and continuing his inspirational journey,” comments one person on YouTube. “Thank you for being there for us Lee Family by sharing one of your shining stars with us all.”
“Thanks for this post, Kodi. Perfect song for these crazy times we are living in,” writes another YouTube user. “Bless you and Logan. Great job!”
Both of the guys did such a great job with this popular song, and their music is sure to have lifted the spirits of all who listened to it. Just like the lyrics say, we all need someone to lean on when times get hard. Whether it be a friend, spouse, family member, or neighbor, make sure to reach out to your loved ones for help and connection, and look for ways that you can be there for them as well.
Former American Idol contestant Genavieve Linkowski leads us in worship with a beautiful rendition of ‘Another In The Fire’ from Hillsong UNITED.
These touching lyrics remind us all that God is in control and His strength reigns down on us.
“There is another in the fire
Standing next to me
There is another in the waters
Holding back the seas
And should I ever need reminding
What power set me free
There is a grave that holds no body
And now that power lives in me.”
We first met Genavieve Linkowski when she competed on the first season of American Idol on ABC. Genavieve made it all the way to Hollywood before being sent home.
Two years later, she returned to the Idol stage for another shot at the title. But this time was very different because Genavieve was missing one of her main support systems, her sister.
In 2019, Genavieve’s sister, Corrin, lost her life after a bad car accident at the age of 18. The death took a toll on Genavieve and she wondered if she would ever sing again.
Thankfully, this talented performer has continued to share her gift with the world and, today, she’s using her voice to give praise to our Lord. Just listen as she belts out the words to the hit Hillsong UNITED song ‘Another In The Fire.’
“I'll count the joy come every battle
Cause I know that's where You'll be.”
Romans 8:38-39 “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Country singer Luke Combs is speaking to hearts all around the world with his latest song ‘Six Feet Apart.’
As COVID-19 has led many states to issue stay-at-home orders, the nation is learning to adapt to a new normal. And even though spring is here, this season is much different than we’re used to.
This single takes a look back while also shining a light on the joy that is ahead.
“I miss my mom, I miss my dad
I miss the road, I miss my band
Giving hugs and shaking hands”
For artist Luke Combs, his days used to be filled with sold-out concerts, travels across the world and up-close interactions with his fans. While quarantined, he decided to write down his feelings and there are a lot of people that can relate to these powerful words. Luke said, “It's about the current times and us looking forward to the day all of this is over. I hope y'all like it.”
“Now, it’s a mystery, I suppose
Just how long this thing goes
There’ll be crowds and there’ll be shows
And there will be light after dark
Someday, when we aren’t six feet apart”
Even though these uncertain times can cause fear and anxiety, we can cling to our faith in God and remember that He will see us through each moment. As we face tomorrow, the Lord will walk with us every step of the way and His love and peace is reigning down. One day, we will all rejoice together again.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). Very often when I worship God in Spirit and in Truth (When I go down on my knees and cry out to God from my Heart), there are times when the Holy Spirit takes full control of my thoughts and that's how I produce these videos because everything is based on the Word of God that is written. This message I received on April 6th, 2020

In this heartwarming video, a deaf 9-year-old named Savannah performs the song ‘Brave’ by Sara Bareilles with ASL.
Savannah is performing on the show Little Big Shots, and Melissa McCarthy is the host. According to the show’s YouTube account, McCarthy “meets with some of the most inspiring and hilarious kids from all corners of the globe. They take us into their world, share their remarkable stories and show us the incredible talents that set them apart. It’s a celebration of how resilient, funny and inspiring kids can be when we allow them to be unabashedly themselves.” And Savannah blows it out of the park with her performance of ‘Brave.’
“You can be amazing
You can turn a phrase into a weapon or a drug
You can be the outcast
Or be the backlash of somebody's lack of love
Or you can start speaking up”
Savannah gives such a powerful performance and is so expressive when showing the meaning of the lyrics. It is inspiring to watch her sing along to the chorus, and she’ll make you want to sing along right there with her.
“Say what you wanna say
And let the words fall out
Honestly, I wanna see you be brave
With what you want to say
And let the words fall out
Honestly, I wanna see you be brave”
“Savannah, wow! I was feeling really low and I watched your performance,” writes one person on YouTube. “It made me feel so good, full of happiness, joy and hope. It made me happy cry. Thank you. Your signing, passion, dancing and big smile can change the world. Keep doing what you’re doing, please!”
Another person on YouTube commented: “My parents were deaf. This little girl embodies strength and passion beyond her years. I hope she continues to do this!”
This spirited girl is using her gift to touch others and bring them so much happiness. How wonderful is that! May she continue to use her beautiful ASL performances to inspire others and remind them to be unabashedly themselves. God made us all unique and may we always love ourselves for who we were created to be!

World-renowned tenor Josh Groban belts out a beautiful rendition of ‘Over The Rainbow’ from his shower as he practices social distancing.
This special song was made famous by Judy Garland in the 1939 film ‘Wizard Of Oz.’ Since that time, this tune has been covered by countless artists and cemented its place in history as one of the best, and most beautiful, songs of all time.
“Somewhere over the rainbow way up high
There's a land that I heard of once in a lullaby
Somewhere over the rainbow skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true”
Today, Josh Groban is hoping that these iconic words will lift spirits around the world as he sings during quarantine. As COVID-19 has forced many people to remain in their homes, it has caused so many feelings of fear and anxiety.
In an effort to put some joy into the world, Josh decided to start twice-weekly song covers called ‘Shower Songs.’ And his very first performance of ‘Over The Rainbow’ is sure to put a smile on your face.
“Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me”
As we all adjust to a new normal, it is wonderful to find comfort in these familiar lyrics. When we come together, we can truly face anything. Let us remember that better days are ahead for us all.
