The talented voices of Shalom Chorale grace the stage of Britain’s Got Talent for an incredible performance of ‘Blinded By Your Grace.’ This song was originally released by British rapper Stormzy in 2017. Now, these inspiring words are taking on a whole new life as this gospel choir belts them out during their audition. “Lord, I've been broken Although I'm not worthy You fixed me, I'm blinded By your grace You came and saved me” Even though a gospel choir has never won Britain’s Got Talent, this incredible ensemble definitely has the talent to contend for the title. Shalom Chorale made their debut performance in 2018 and it’s only been upward from there. On their website, the group describes their amazing mission. “The Shalom Chorale is a group of sensational singers with a passion for music and faith in God. In times like these, when news of uncertainty, fear and rumours of war seem to dominate our world, we feel there is a need for peace, hence our name Shalom Chorale.” Feel the love of the Lord as they sing these words on worldwide television. “I'm blinded by your grace I'm blinded by your grace, by your grace” It’s always such a blessing to hear people sing praises to our Lord. And it’s even better when they are sharing His message with the entire world. What an incredible opportunity to minister to the masses while entertaining and creating such lasting memories. One high school in Virginia puts on an epic lip dub performance and reminds us all to “roll with the changes.” In this fun video, more than 1,000 students, teachers, administrators, and staff members got together to create a lip dub performance to a throwback song from the group REO Speedwagon. The song is from 1978 and called ‘Roll With The Changes.’ “So if you're tired of the Same old story Turn some pages I'll be here when you are ready To roll with the changes” It is filmed in one continuous shot throughout the school. The camera weaves in and out of the students and faculty members while going all around hallways, classrooms, and offices. The video is definitely impressive and shows just how much coordination it must have taken from everyone in order to pull it off! As the camera records all of the people enthusiastically singing along to ‘Roll With The Changes,’ you can spot many people dressed in fun outfits and costumes as they come into the scene. There is even someone dressed up in a chicken suit. How hilarious! There are people in the video pretending to play all sorts of instruments, like drums and keyboards, that make it look like they are playing along to the music. Many of the orchestra and band students bring their instruments out as well to show off in the video. There are also many people waving around pom-poms and streamers to add to the fun and crazy atmosphere. “What a great way to build community! I loved that this was about everyone!”, writes one person on YouTube. “It's joyful, fun, and provides a great message. I would like to see our school district do something like this!” As the video ends, the camera films from above a huge group cheering at the entrance of the school. What a fun a special video, showcasing hundreds of people coming together and sharing with so much joy!
