The Daily Pulse (Saturday, March 16, 2013): "This is what the LORD says: 'Out of your own household I am going to bring calamity on you. Before your very eyes I will take your wives and give them to one who is close to you, and he will sleep with your wives in broad daylight." 2 Samuel 12:11 (NIV)
From their 2003 CD "Beautiful Day". Whether you like gospel bluegrass or not, you'll have to admit that this is a beautiful song. Written by Rebecca J. Peck and Jeff Pearson. I love these dual-meaning songs; they are very creative. The Dunaway family is superbly talented; I just discovered them recently. Wow, is all I can say. I think that's Kanah Dunaway singing lead vocals, but it may be Tammy Dunaway, they sound so much alike.
The Daily Pulse (Friday, March 15, 2013): Then the LORD said to him, "This is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob when I said, 'I will give it to your descendants.' I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross over into it." Deuteronomy 34:4 (NIV)

Justified by grace. Short 2 minute inspirational video on how and why we can be justified by God's grace. There is nothing more important than being justified in the sight of God.
es, it is a beautiful song by Twila Paris. It's special to me since it was sung at the memorial service of a Godly young woman at my church who was killed in a tragic bus crash on her very first mission trip to Africa. These words reflected her life, "where He leads me I will go". She did go as she was led, despite the risks. So, a pretty melancholy song for me to listen to. But I lean on Romans 8:28 to get me through the pain.
Karen Lynne (aka Karen Lynne Louis) is a bluegrass artist from Australia. She came to Nashville to record a gospel bluegrass album called "Shine Your Light". I don't believe it has been released yet, but she sent me a preview copy. This song really touched me, since as a father I have myself these questions many times. The song seems to have a motherly feel to it, but I think it also works from the perspective of a father. Anyway, it's a very touching and beautiful song. Oh, and when the album is released, check it out, it's one of those rare jewels where every track is a winner.
