A Song Writer's Prayer

This exceptionally beautiful original song is dedicated to Song Writers, Lyricists, and Composers everywhere whose contributions to the Christian Faith through Music has transcended time and locale.

When My Father Talks with Me

This Syncreatus "original" is one of my personal favorites among all my lyrical works. It is a simple male and female couple sharing their respective vocalizations and harmonies in the piece that just keeps the sound so easy and so true. The melody is soft and richly sung with frequent harmonized passages through accent points. So natural sounding when listening to this delightful melody conveyed in two voices, it might just happen to become one of your personal favorites as well.

How Big is God?

In this one of a kind inspiring and moving Christian Music and Narrative presentation about God's immeasurable and in incomprehensible Lordship over his vast and timeless creation draws heavily from images and sounds that literally flow with esoteric beauty music and breathtaking visualization. Warning, this beautiful presentation may result in a warm and comforting feeling coming over most viewers as the music and imagery continue. I don't believe most viewers will have the opportunity to witness many videos such as this very special creative presentation.

Quiet Time with Jesus

How precious are those quiet times we spend with out Lord. These are time when we have the opportunity for our spirits to tune in and 'hear' that still small voice that we recognized as His.

Hominy Grits & Hallelujahs

Any time is a very good time to stop and offer heartfelt praises to our Lord and Savior....and this includes breakfast time. Presented in classical country music format with familiar country-style sounds and stylings both instrumentally and vocally, this delightful song flows across the listener's heart, mind, soul and spirit with a kind of gentleness so country-easy, I suppose it could even generate a subtle smile across a listener's face while he or she listens.

Soft on My Soul; Light on My Heart

A beautiful and gentle song of praise based on the scripture presented in Matthew 11:29-30 where our Lord is quoted as saying, "Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

A Simple Prayer

This musical prayer of praise, honor and worship of the one true God and creator of the universe and His only begotten Son, our Savior and King, Christ Jesus. While this song is about the words or message, it is worth noting just how beautifully orchestrated, how elegantly performed , and how musically satisfying the song actually is. Every word comprising this song's lyrical structure are comprise the prayer that I personally composed and subsequently produced with production assistance from the technological "tool" commonly referred to as AI under the direction of my prompting and direction. I pray it will lift your heart as much as it does my own whenever I listen to its inspiring presentation.

Way Maker my Maker by SJ Hopestrings

A song of devotion to God. "O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water" Psalm 63:1 Early Will I Seek You' is now available on all major music streaming platforms.

Holy Spirit of God by SJ Hopestrings

A song of reliance on the Holy Spirit. Inspirational. Romans 8:26-27 – "And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don't know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God's own will." #holyspirit #trust #soul #life #prayer

He Did Not Open His Mouth (Isaiah 53 Scripture Song)

I wrote and recorded this music, but this is an AI-generated music video depicting Isaiah 53's prophecy of the suffering Messiah, including the Garden of Gethsemane arrest and crucifixion imagery. To whom has the arm of the Lord been shown? He grew like a tender shoot, like a root out of dry ground He had no form or majesty To make us take special note of him, Nothing in his appearance That we should desire him He was despised and rejected, A man of sorrows, acquainted with grief People hid their faces; and we don't esteem him. Surely he has borne our grief And surely he's carried our suffering Yet we saw his suffering and thought God had stricken him But he was pierced for wrong we did And he was bruised because of our sin He endured punishment and Because of his wounds, we're healed. We all, like sheep, we have wandered, Each of us turned off, to his own way, The Lord laid on him the iniquity of us all He was oppressed He was afflicted Yet he did not open his mouth Brought as a lamb Led to the slaughter Or as a sheep for her shearers is dumb He did not open his mouth Oppression and judgment was led away And none of his generation complained Cut off from the land of living; for us, he took our sin He was assigned a sinner's grave Yet, with the rich was his body laid He had done nothing wrong, and There was no deceit in him It was the Lord’s will to crush him And cause him suffering, an offerring for sin And the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand He was oppressed He was afflicted Yet he did not open his mouth Brought as a lamb Led to the slaughter Or as a sheep for her shearers is dumb He did not open his mouth He shall see the anguish of his soul and be satisfied By his knowledge my righteous servant shall justify The many, bearing their iniquities Therefore, I'll divide him a portion with the great And he shall divide the spoil with the strong Because he poured out his soul to death And was numbered with the sinners Thus he bore the sin of many And made intercession for transgressors He was oppressed He was afflicted Yet he did not open his mouth Brought as a lamb Led to the slaughter Or as a sheep for her shearers is dumb He did not open his mouth He did not open his mouth

If Ever I Loved Thee

“If Ever I Loved Thee” is a quiet, deeply personal response to the overwhelming mercy of Christ.

Set against the backdrop of His suffering, death, burial, and resurrection, the song reflects on a simple but piercing truth: Jesus endured what looked like madness to the world—though He was completely innocent—so that we might receive the mercy we could never earn.

He stood silent before His accusers.

He suffered without guilt.

He chose the cross… for us.

And in that moment, what appeared to be defeat became the greatest act of love in human history.

“If Ever I Loved Thee” is not a declaration of perfect devotion, but a humble offering—an acknowledgment that any love we have for Him exists only because He first loved us.

It is a song of surrender.

A song of gratitude.

A song for anyone who has come to realize the depth of His mercy.

🎧 Listen, reflect, and be reminded:

What looked like madness… was mercy all along.

Book of Psalms Back to Songs: Psalm 31 - My Rock, My Fortress

Psalm 31 is characterized by an exhaustion and a sense of "brokenness," as the writer feels like a "forgotten vessel" besieged by enemies and sorrow. It resolves into a state of steadfast courage, finding a hidden refuge in God's presence that remains untouched by the storms of life. The "Book of Psalms: Back to Songs" project is a creative endeavor to restore the original spirit of the #psalms - as songs of worship, lament, praise, and reflection-by transforming them back into musical form, as many were written. Drawing from modern translations of the classic biblical texts, this project reimagines the Psalms with fresh musical arrangements that blend timeless messages with modern sounds. Each Psalm is thoughtfully adapted into lyrical and melodic compositions, many using modern tools, to explore harmonies, instrumentation, and genre-blending arrangements. From soulful acoustic ballads and rock/pop hymns to country pieces and R&B-inspired tunes, the project seeks to make the Psalms accessible and resonate with today’s listeners, while staying true to their emotional and spiritual depth.
