Viral voice Malinda performs a chilling rendition of ‘The Sound Of Silence’ that will give you goosebumps.
Simon & Garfunkel originally released this iconic song in 1964. Since that time, many artists have lent their voices to the tune. One of the most well-known covers comes from the rock band, Disturbed, in 2015.
Recently, a cappella group Pentatonix released their own version and it skyrocketed the tune back into popularity. Today, we’re hearing an entirely new rendition, with a nod to classical music, and it’s absolutely stunning.

Today, viral sensation Malinda is putting her own spin on ‘The Sound Of Silence. You may recognize Malinda from one of her many videos, including and acoustic rendition of ‘How Can I Keep From Singing’ at the Chapel of St. Joseph of Arimathea, more commonly known as the Washington National Cathedral.
The performance was seen all over social media and now she’s doing it again with this chilling cover.

There’s no doubt that Malinda is a true talent and we’re all waiting for what she comes up with next.
This one-man band draws a crowd as he plays for strangers on the street, but you have to know who he’s really playing for.
With no plan for his future, Reinhardt Buhr started his musical journey when he was 19. He taught himself to play guitar by watching Youtube videos and eventually formed his band, Wild Lettuce, with a drummer he had met. After gaining fame in South Africa and consistently performing, he lost himself to fame, drugs, and alcohol.
It took him years to find his way back, but about five years ago, Reinhardt and his wife found God and His salvation. Reinhardt said that one day, God told him to make music for Him. Since then, his life and his performances have been for the Lord.
Clearly, Reinhardt was meant to share his gifts with the world. His God-given musical talent to teach himself so many different instruments and create music on the spot is a blessing to both him and everyone who hears it.
In the video, Reinhardt uses technology to loop short recordings of different instruments to create something truly amazing. And to think, the entire piece started with just a simple triangle!
Although he didn’t sing in a traditional sense, he did use his voice as an additional instrument. He even created around five different loops with the cello, one right after the other! I can’t imagine the amount of practice that something like this takes.
Throughout the performance, strangers can’t help but stop and listen. The music is beautiful and entrancing but watching him put it all together so easily is incredible. He stops and starts different loops to make different sections and uses older loops later with a brand new instrument.
Honestly, the performance is difficult to put into words. You have to watch it for yourself to truly witness the beauty of his talent!

This gigantic creature has traveled across the ocean catching rides on boats. Wally the walrus has visited Wales, Ireland, Cornwall, and Spain in the past few months. Can we really blame him for wanting some rest?
Walruses normally live around the North Pole in colder waters. So researchers are pretty confused by Wally’s adventures! Conservation organizations have been tracking his trail.
Wally has tried getting on many different boats along his journey. Sometimes he caught a ride, and sometimes he ended up breaking the boats or flipping them over. He’s probably sorry about the damage.
In this video, Wally hopped on the boat around the Isles of Scilly. Almost 30 miles out from his last spotting around Cornwall, Wally is certainly on the move!
Nobody has any idea of how he managed to end up so far away from his northern home, but they hope he will manage to make his back without intervention. But obviously, he isn’t opposed to some help along the way.
Since the warmer environment is considerably different from his home, researchers want to make sure that he’s adapting to his surroundings and staying healthy. So far, so good!
Poor Wally clearly squeezed himself into that boat nook when desperate for a nap. This gorgeous lump of blubber probably weighs a couple thousand pounds. Walrus’ lengths range from around 7 to 12 feet. No wonder he barely fits!
Although he resembles a gigantic comfy cushion, researchers warned the boaters to give Wally plenty of room and to not bother him. After all, he’s not threatening anybody’s safety -- just needs a little snooze!

Bruce Willis the cat found himself close to death last year when he was found as a stray. In the shelter, Bruce looked like a wreck. His eyes were barely open with tear stains under them. He got a bunch of shots and even had surgery. Sitting around all day, Bruce didn’t seem to have an interest in doing anything.
Everyone that saw him in the shelter would make comments about his sad eyes. But those sad eyes are what kept bringing Sandra back to visit him.
Sandra knew she couldn’t adopt an animal because her landlord didn’t allow pets. Since Bruce was already seven years old and had health complications, nobody wanted to adopt him. But Sandra couldn’t leave him behind!
She asked her landlord to make an exception for Bruce. Luckily, she gave the go-ahead for Sandra to rescue Bruce. He didn’t know it, but he was about to step into a whole new life!
For the one-year anniversary of Bruce’s ‘gotcha day,’ Sandra shared a video of Bruce’s story on his very own social media accounts. She said, “So much has happened in our lives and in the world since then, and I’m so happy to have him by my side. Happy Gotcha Day, Brucie.”
Apparently, his demeanor completely changed once Sandra took him to his forever home. Since he had so many health issues and lived most of his years as a stray, the transition didn’t come easily. Sandra shared that she had questioned at certain points if she made the right decision but said she wouldn’t change anything looking back.
Bless Sandra and her kind heart for saving Bruce from his miserable life and giving him the love he deserves!

A large group of enthusiastic people enters the stage of America’s Got Talent. The judges ask what their group name is and the man replies, “JW’s Inspirational Singers of New York City.” Each person is from the Broadway, TV, and film world and JW thought they could all come together to try something different. A woman shares, “We enjoy doing something together as a group to share that message of togetherness and unity.”
The act describes itself as a choir that does a variety of styles. The excitement of JW is evident when before even performing, he says, “It’s just dope, y’all!” The choir then begins the powerful performance of strong vocals, acapella background singers, dance, and even tap dancing for rhythm. With various moments of highlighted singers, every single one is unique and incredibly talented.
The song called “Stand Up” is from the movie “Harriet,” based on the life of Harriet Tubman. The lyrics strongly proclaim a message.
“So I'm gonna stand up, Take my people with me

The judges are all very impressed with the performance. After hearing feedback from them, you see tears falling down the faces of the choir members.
As believers, we can reflect on the message of this song of hope. We can have full confidence that even though life is hard, we have the joy of knowing that we are free in Christ and that we will be in the perfection of Heaven one day.

You won’t believe this whopper of a tale about a woman who reunites with guardian angels 35 years after they pulled her from the sea. Desiree Rodriguez became quite the catch when Mark Pisano and Paul Strasser were out in the big deep blue for a day of deep-sea fishing.
As they looked out on the horizon, they saw an orange life jacket bobbing on the water. Alarmed, they navigated their boat towards it only to find Desiree floating in the water. But what they did not know is that she had already been floating in the water for 20 hours and watched every one of her family members perish in front of her. Prior to finding herself drifting at sea, she had been asleep next to her sister on the boat when her father woke her up because the boat was sinking.
Her rescuers were young guys hoping to catch a few yellow-tail—neither were expecting to have the catch of a lifetime. After they pulled her from the water and got her the emergency help she needed, the pair never saw her again until a podcaster orchestrated a chance for Desiree to reunite with her guardian angels.
You can tell by the look on their faces, Mark and Paul were incredibly shocked and overwhelmed with emotion when they realized Desiree was sitting across the table from them. Instantly, the bond they formed 35 years ago on the water was visible—like a taunt fisherman’s line spooling their hearts and lives together.
The trio then met up with the family that raised Desiree. Together, they all went out to where she was found to hold the first memorial ever for her family and all the lives lost on the water that day. It was a beautiful moment of what was found—a soul saved—instead of what was lost that day.
God knew exactly what he was doing when he brought these three lives together. Mark and Paul were humbled to be Desiree’s life-saving angels. And now that they’ve had a chance to reunite—they all have a whopper of a tale about God’s incredible goodness.
