Bride's Father And Stepfather Unite To Escort Her Down The Aisle

A bride’s father and stepfather came together to walk the woman down the aisle on her big day.

Weddings are beautiful and often emotional events. Witnessing two people in love vowing to stay together through the good and the bad is one of the best sights imaginable. As such, plenty of hugs and tears are usually shed during a typical wedding ceremony.

Nearly every part of a wedding ceremony is an opportunity to become emotional because everything takes on an added significance. It’s a chance to make beautiful, lifelong memories and to show others how much they mean to you.

In a clip posted on social media, a woman about to walk down the aisle and say, “I do,” was momentarily interrupted. But the slight hitch was for what is likely the sweetest and most touching reason possible.

The bride was about to head down the aisle, being escorted by her father, when he let go of her hand. No, he wasn’t refusing to walk her to meet her future husband, but he and the bride wanted to include someone else in the special, once-in-a-lifetime moment.

The person the father went and retrieved was the bride’s stepfather. The two men then walked the beautiful bride down together.

The bride and her father were the only two people who knew what they had in mind. The bride writes in the video’s caption that everyone else was left in the dark.

Family relationships and feelings can be challenging to maneuver, especially regarding weddings. For the bride’s father to allow her stepfather to help him walk his daughter down the aisle says a lot about him. Most people would not have been as gracious and willing to add someone else to the mix when it comes to that moment.

The text in the video states that having her father and her stepfather walk her down the aisle will be a moment the bride will cherish forever.

Judge Frank Caprio's Teary-Eyed Reminder to 'Enjoy Every Minute' Of Life

The kind and caring Judge Frank Caprio of Caught in Providence fame has issued a teary-eyed reminder to “enjoy every minute” of life.

Life is precious and must be protected, cherished and cared for in every possible way. It’s the most fragile and precious gift on earth. No one knows how long they have been given on earth. Nobody knows what the future holds. We aren’t promised tomorrow or even the next hour or minute.

Likely, everyone believes they have much more time than they actually have left. That’s why being grateful for the time the Lord has given you is so important. It’s important to savor and cherish time with family and friends because you never know when it could be the last.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the kind judge, with tears in his eyes, reminds us that no one knows what the future holds. All we have is the present moment, and we should cherish every second we have been given.

Frank correctly mentions that we all take things in life for granted. We often take our health, family, friends and jobs for granted, believing they will always be there. We aren’t nearly as thankful or grateful for them as we should be until we no longer have them.

“I don’t know what the future holds,” he says with tears. “I don’t know. So, I tell you, enjoy every minute of your life.”

In late 2023, Frank revealed that he had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, according to People

Since he revealed his cancer diagnosis, Frank has posted several videos on YouTube of him reflecting on his life and reminding people to love and care for one another.

Instead of asking the Lord to do this or that the next time in prayer, spend some extra time thanking Him for what He has given and has done in your life.

Jeff Foxworthy Shares Powerful Message: 'Do Not Be Ashamed Of The Name Of Jesus Christ'

Legendary comedian Jeff Foxworthy spoke in front of a large crowd and shared a powerful message about not being ashamed of the Gospel or the name of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ can take anything and everything and make something beautiful out of it. It could be the worst situation imaginable, and God can use it for good and the building of the Kingdom. Or it could be a seemingly insignificant, hilariously awkward speaking engagement that can be used to change the lives of others.

In a clip posted on social media, Jeff mentioned how he was invited to speak at a wild game dinner in his home state of Georgia. Jeff told a friend of his that, for some reason, he believed God was calling him to speak at that event.

When Jeff got there, it wasn’t exactly what he expected. He made a startling discovery. There was no stage, light or microphone at what turned out to be a goat rope. But thousands of people did show up to hear Jeff speak.

So, on a makeshift stage, Jeff did some comedy and then talked about Jesus Christ. Years later, God revealed to Jeff how his appearance at the odd gathering made a difference in someone’s life.

While at church, one man informed Jeff that he had attended that event and gave his life to Jesus Christ that night.

Jeff encouraged the audience to listen to God whenever He speaks to us, pushing us to act and do something for Him.

“So, whatever it is you do in your life, be bold for Him,” Jeff said. “Do not be ashamed of the name of Jesus Christ because He is our only hope.”

Jeff added that we must be bold for Him because there is a lost and dying world that needs to hear about the love, grace and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.

Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God to salvation to everyone that believes; to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”

College Students' Sweet Surprise Leaves Beloved Security Guard Overwhelmed

A security guard was immediately emotionally overwhelmed when a group of college students presented him with a sweet surprise.

This world is a sad and broken place filled with hurting and struggling people. People can inflict pain and cruelty upon one another. However, despite what the news and any number of websites may lead you to believe, there are still kind and generous individuals walking on this earth. Not everything good has wholly evaporated and ceased to be.

Individuals can still show kindness and love to others in various ways. While social media is generally a wasteland, it still features some moving and loving unexpected acts of kindness. One of those such acts came, as they always seem to, from a surprising source: college students.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a group of college students approach a security guard sitting behind a desk. As the text in the video clarifies, the security guard has family in Nigeria that he has not seen for many years.

Well, these students have come up with a loving solution. The young man in the clip tells the security guard that the students started a GoFundMe page, spread the word and eventually raised enough money to send the security guard to visit his family.

After hearing the news and being presented with the gift and a card, the security guard is overcome with emotion. He literally falls out of his seat and onto the floor.

What a loving and generous move from the young people who obviously care very much for the security guard.

Most people believe that young people are self-centered and vain and don’t concern themselves with things like the feelings and comfort of others. However, this video shows that that is not the case at all. Sure, some are that way, but there are still good and caring people around us, even college students.

Mr. T Explains How His 'Tacky' Shoes Keep His 'Head Toward Heaven'

In an interview, Hollywood actor Mr. T explained how his “tacky” shoes help him keep his “head toward heaven.”

Everyone wants to experience success. It’s only natural and human for someone to want their efforts to succeed; there is nothing wrong with that desire. I mean, no one who goes out into the world hopes and wishes to fail, right?

But what happens when someone sees their efforts greatly prosper? They usually become wealthy and obtain some level of fame and recognition. This can often lead people to be consumed with money, fame and success. All they want is more, more and more. Nothing is ever enough for this kind of person.

This person will also forget their humble origins, the people who were with them initially, and the source of their money and success. In an interview, actor Mr. T found a unique way of helping him stay grounded and reminding himself of what matters in life.

Mr. T, who has been around for decades and starred in the beloved show The A-Team, is best known for his catchphrase, “I pity the fool,” and wearing many gaudy gold necklaces. But he explained that it’s his shoes that keep him grounded despite all his success.

In the clip, the woman interviewing him notices his shoes. She laughs at them and even calls them “tacky.” His response to her question about his shoes was likely not what she expected.

He stated that those shoes had been in his family for years, and his father and brothers had worn them. He says that the shoes remind him to stay humble, remember where he came from, and not get too proud and consumed with success.

He also added that his shoes remind him to always think about the true source of his fame and success.

“They keep me level,” he said. “As I said, I want to keep my feet on the ground and my head toward heaven.”

James 4:6 “But he gives more grace. So that the Writings say, God is against the men of pride, but he gives grace to those who make themselves low before him.”

Savannah Guthrie Opens Up To Kelly Clarkson About How Her Faith Has Been A Rock Through Hardship

This video clip is an interview from the Kelly Clarkson Show, with Savannah Guthrie, broadcast journalist, and co-host of The Today Show. In the interview she talks with Kelly about how her faith has been a rock through hardship.

Her new book called, Mostly What God Does: Reflections On Seeking His Love Everywhere, was recently published. Kelly first asks her what she does to chill, especially since her job on The Today Show is talking about the news.

“What I try to do is keep it in perspective. I mean I think that’s why, I mean faith has always been important to me but I really lean on it,” Savannah says. “I feel like faith gives me a perspective…”

Kelly then asks Savannah about a time in her life when faith really pulled her out when she was really down. Savannah talks about when her father passed away when she was 16. People would ask her if she still believed in God after that and she says that she remembered thinking, “This is when I need him the most,” which is so true.

When we are going through a difficult time, that is when he need to reach out to God to help us through. We need to depend on him and know he is in control of the whole situation.

She goes on to talk about how her book is a journey of faith. She says that, “Mostly what God does is love you,” which is a really amazing sentiment. Focusing on God’s love is so important and a reminder of who God truly is.

You can tell from the video that Savannah is strong in her faith, has learned many lessons about life and God over the years, and is happy to share them with others through her latest book.

“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knows God.” - 1 John 4:7

Loving Gym Owner Bringing Hope And Strength To The Disabled And Elderly

A kind and loving gym owner in England is bringing hope and strength to those who are disabled and elderly.

Kindness and love can take many different shapes and forms. All anyone must do to be kind and loving is to see someone in need and then act. It doesn't even have to be a big, grand, or over-the-top gesture.

Simple and unexpected acts of kindness can be as easy as opening and holding the door for someone. Picking up and throwing away a piece of trash is a simple task that doesn't take much time, but it's appreciated and can and does make a difference. Also, what we perceive as a small, insignificant act of kindness could mean the world to someone else. That could be the thing that changes someone's entire life and outlook.

Javeno McLean is a personal trainer and a gym owner in Manchester, England, and he brings hope and smiles to the faces of a group of people that society often overlooks. He offers his personal training services completely free of charge to the disabled and the elderly.

In the video posted on YouTube, Javeno explains why he refuses to accept anything to help the disabled and the elderly, and it all has to do with how he was raised.

"I just set out to make my mom and dad proud," he said. "I was raised around love, like my family, my mom and my dad. Like, I was blessed to have good parents who love me."

He added: "So when you've been around so much love, you want everybody else to feel that as well. And when I see people who aren't receiving love, that's when I have a problem with injustice, when people are getting treated and patronized and treated a certain way."

While helping and working with others, Javeno says that he has witnessed miracles and dramatic transformations in the people he is blessed to work with daily.

God has blessed all of us with different skills, talents and gifts. Just like Javeno, we can use those God-given gifts to help others and show kindness and love to someone who may really need it.

Coach Bruce Pearl's Incredible Friendship With Young Cancer Survivor Transcends The Court

College basketball coach Bruce Pearl’s incredible friendship with a young cancer survivor transcends the basketball court.

Cancer is a horrible disease. It does nothing but cause hurt and pain. It destroys and steals individuals from their families and friends. There is nothing good about the disease.

As bad as cancer is already, it’s exponentially worse whenever it’s a childhood who receives a devastating cancer diagnosis. Those youngsters are supposed to be outside getting dirty while running around and playing with friends. They aren’t supposed to be undergoing chemotherapy and being prepped for surgery. Kids should have their childhood to be kids, not be in a fight for their life.

Sam Cunningham, as a 12-year-old, was diagnosed with leukemia. But during his cancer fight, Auburn University basketball coach Bruce Pearl recorded a video for the young man.

In the clip, Bruce gave the young man an upbeat, uplifting motivational message. Bruce informed Sam, “you’re going to be this, son,” and “cancer picked the wrong hombre.”

Sam found both humor and strength in Bruce’s kind and encouraging words. The young man admits that he would continually draw strength from Bruce’s words during the darkest days of his battle. They kept him going and fighting.

As the clip posted on YouTube points out, Bruce and Sam eventually met and struck up a friendship. At one point, Bruce told young Sam that after he beat cancer, he would attend Auburn University and become a staff member. Flash forward a couple of years, and that is precisely what has happened.

Sam is now a freshman at Auburn, where he is the team’s manager, working alongside Bruce as promised.

Bruce added that when he prays to God, he asks Him for Sam’s continued health and safety.

“In my prayers, it’s ‘God, don’t let this thing relapse. Take me. Let Sam live.’” Bruce said.

What an incredible story about love, friendship, and keeping one’s word.

Proverbs 18:24: “A man of many companions may be ruined, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”

Hundreds Come Together To Help Legally Blind Man With Commute

Hundreds of people have come together to help a man who is legally blind with his commute to work.

There will never be too much kindness and love in the world. Given the state and condition of our fallen world and the many hurting and broken people around us, it’s impossible to be too loving, caring and kind. Anyone and everyone can benefit from an unexpected act of kindness and love.

Those acts of kindness and love can and do come in many different shapes, sizes and forms. Kindness and love can be shown in a million different ways. To be kind and show someone the love of Christ, all anyone has to do is spot a need and then act accordingly. However, as Jesus mentioned in Matthew, “The harvest is truly plentiful, but the laborers are few.”

As a video posted on YouTube explains, people in one Arkansas town saw a need and acted. They have shown one man unbelievable kindness and love.

Bill Moczulewski is a janitor and is dedicated to his job. Bill is also legally blind and unable to drive a car. However, this does not stop Bill from going to work. He would walk five miles every day in all kinds of weather.

One day, Christy Conrad spotted Bill on his commute to work and offered him a ride. During this ride, Christy learned that her passenger is legally blind and does this same five-mile walk in all types of weather.

So, to help Bill out, Christ started a Facebook group, hoping to find people to give him a ride to work. The response to the Facebook group was overwhelming. The group has expanded to 1,500 people.

Bill says now he never has a problem getting a ride. He adds that the person behind the wheel is never the same. It’s always someone different stopping to help Bill.

“There’s a lot of good people in this world, all over the place, you know?” Bill said.

This all started because one woman was kind enough to pull over and offer a man walking down the street a ride to work. She saw a need and took action.

Ephesians 4:32 “And be kind to one another, full of pity, having forgiveness for one another, even as God in Christ had forgiveness for you.”

16-Year-Old Prodigy Inspires As Third Grade Teacher

Check out this inspiring story of a 16-year-old prodigy, the youngest teacher in America.

Her name is Shania Muhammad, and she graduated college at the age of 15. Now, at 16 years old, Shania is a third-grade teacher and a testament to the idea that you're never too young to achieve your goals.

“Growing up, our home was alway built on the foundation of education,” Shania shared. “I remember seeing my older siblings study for the ACT in 8th grade. My sister, she really started it all. She was 16 when she graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA. My brother graduated from the #1 private school in Oklahoma. They really set the example.”

Shania's path to becoming a teacher at a young age started in middle school. “My 7th grade year was my COVID year,” she said. “My dad knew that I was really, really advanced. We just started with the ACT prep that summer. Realizing I could actually do college level work, write college level essays, he said, ‘Oh yeah, let’s go ahead and throw you into enrollment.’ I was the youngest student at the University of Oklahoma.”

After Shania graduated college at 15 years old, she was offered a teaching job. “The school owner reached out to me. She said, ‘You know, we would love to have your daughter here.’ At the time, I was 15 years old, and I was like, ‘Well, let’s wait till I can drive to work.’” And that following August when Shania was 16, she started teaching.

Even though she is so young, Shania doesn’t have a problem with her students seeing her as an adult and being respectful of her position.

“A lot of people ask, ‘How old are your students?’ And I’m like, ‘They’re 8 years old, so to them I’m still looked at as an adult,’” she explained. “I really don’t have any problems with them taking me seriously. They’re able to communicate, and I always tell them that this is a safe space. You can tell me anything.”

What an inspiration this woman is to young people everywhere! And good for her for going after her dream at such a young age.

Florida Deputy's Heroic Act Turns Him Into Honorary Family Member

Check out this story about a Florida deputy’s heroic act that turned him into an honorary family member.

Deputy Sergeant Dave Musgrove is an officer in Charlotte County, Florida, where he recently rescued a baby’s life after a serious car accident that left her not breathing.

“I saw a flash. I heard a loud bang. And then I saw a cloud of smoke,” Sergeant Musgrove describes the scene that night. “I saw Kayleigh, the mother, just frantically screaming, crying for help. She’s yelling, ‘My babies, my babies.’”

He continues to share the details of the wreck. “As I approached, I saw a motorcycle on the ground. I looked in the vehicle and I encountered a 3-year-old little girl in a car seat. I thought all was well, removed the girl, and she kept yelling, ‘No, my baby.’ And I looked down and I saw underneath the motorcyclist, there was a baby’s head and a car seat.”

Right away, Sergeant Musgrove was able to pull baby Lola from the wreck and start performing CPR on her. “Shortly after I started CPR, I heard the baby gasp,” he shares.

The 6-month-old baby was then airlifted to a nearby hospital, and Deputy Sergeant Musgrove visited her often while she was recovering.

“He’s our angel, that’s for sure,” shares the baby’s grandmother. “You know, what he did for our family was life-changing.”

“I’m now Uncle Dave according to the grandmother,” says Sergeant Musgrove. “Yes, I am in contact with the family multiple times a day. I get text messages every morning with the morning report.”

Sergeant Musgrove was definitely in the right place at the right time to help this family! And baby Lola and her family members are incredibly grateful for him and how he showed up for them in their time of need.

Prepare for Passover Miracles.

Agree and be Healed amen.

Shaq's Touching Gesture Provides For Teen In Need Of Shoes And Clothes

Former professional basketball player Shaquille O’Neal’s touching and loving gesture helped provide a teenager struggling to find shoes with a bit of relief.

The world is full of hurting and struggling individuals. People in need are all around us. They may be a friend, neighbor or even a family member. You don’t have to go to another country to find someone who needs help. Go across the street, the hallway or to the next desk, and you’re likely to find a need, someone hurting in one way or another.

Shaq, the basketball Hall of Famer and NBA champion, is well known for his kind and generous deeds. He has been blessed and has found ways to bless others.

Yet another way Shaq has helped his fellow man involves 16-year-old Jor’el Bolden. Jor’el has massive feet, and he wears size 23 shoes, according to the video posted on YouTube.

The problem with needing shoes that big is that stores do not typically carry that size. Because they are so rare, they are also expensive. So, as the video shows, Jor’el would walk around his house in his bare feet.

When Shaq heard about Jor’el’s story, he sent boxes. Those boxes contained shoes and clothes from his wardrobe. Shaq literally gave the young man the shirt off his back.

As the video points out, Shaq sent the young 20 pairs of size 22 shoes.

In addition to Shaq, the community has also stepped up and has shown Jor’el and his family God’s love. Jor’el’s mother started a GoFundMe campaign to help with the price of shoes. Donations have been pouring in. It currently stands at more than $12,000.

What a beautiful and unique way to show Jor’el and his family the love of God! This goes to show that when you find someone struggling, take action and work to meet that need.

Colossians 3:12 “As saints of God, then, holy and dearly loved, let your behavior be marked by pity and mercy, kind feeling, a low opinion of yourselves, gentle ways, and a power of undergoing all things;”

NFL Star Jason Kelce's Emotional Retirement Speech Overflows With Gratitude For Wife

NFL star Jason Kelce’s emotional retirement announcement overflowed with love and gratitude for his wife.

Quitting and putting aside something you’ve worked your whole life for is not easy. It’s the realization that your body cannot do what it used to. That’s why so many athletes become emotional when they finally decide and then announce that it’s time to quit playing.

Those who play in the NBA, NFL and MLB put in an incredible amount of time and work getting to and then staying at that level. But none of them do it by themselves. They all have the love and support of others along the way.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce announced that after 13 years, he was retiring from the NFL. During his announcement, Jason became overwhelmed with emotion, as many players do at that moment.

However, during his tear-filled speech, Jason honored and thanked his wife, Kylie, for her love and support and for pushing him when he needed it. He also thanked her for giving him three beautiful little girls.

Jason also mentioned that the first time he laid on his wife. It was love at first sight for Jason.

“I won’t forget the Eagles Christmas party in 2014 and heading out afterwards with a bunch of my teammates to Buffalo Billiards, where my life would change forever,” Jason said. “That night I’d meet my future wife.”

“I still remember the moment she walked through the door, Jason added. “The first instance is burned in retina. It was like she glided through the opening, an aura around her. Then she started talking, and I thought, ‘Man, is this what love feels like?’”

Whatever Jason does following his retirement from the NFL, it sounds like he will be OK with his wife and young girls right beside him.

Loretta Lynn's Granddaughter Moved To Tears In Emotional Video After American Idol Audition

Emmy Russell, the granddaughter of the late country music legend Loretta Lynn, was moved to tears in an emotional and heartfelt video following her audition on American Idol.

Trying to live up to expectations that we or others have for us can be exhausting. That is especially true when you’re related to one of the greatest country music artists, like Loretta Lynn. Every person is an individual, blessed with their own set of skills, abilities and gifts.

Emmy Russell, the 24-year-old granddaughter of Loretta Lynn, went before the judges on American Idol. When talking about herself, she casually mentions her grandmother. It’s clear from the very beginning that Emmy is a quiet and timid young lady. She explains why she believes she is so timid. It’s because she wanted to “own her voice” and “wanted to challenge herself.”

She went on to impress the judges with her singing and songwriting, playing an original tune of hers. She got yes from Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan.

Katy told the young woman that she did not need to compare herself to her grandmother and should not put that kind of pressure on herself.

In a video posted on Instagram after her audition aired, Emmy said she had been flooded with tears and gratitude. She also went on to thank those who were supportive of her audition on American Idol.

She added that it would take her some time to get back to everyone who had expressed her support and well wishes. However, she said, in the meantime, that she wanted to post a video of “gratitude.”

Growing up in the shadow of someone as legendary as Loretta Lynn and then having people put those expectations on you has to be daunting and overwhelming. But God created all of us to be unique individuals and not replicas of someone else.

Students Erupt in Cheers After Massive Donation Erases Tuition At New York Medical School

Students reacted with shouts and tears of joy when they learned their medical school in New York City will now be tuition-free following a massive and generous $1 billion donation.

Knowledge, as has been said many times before, is power. Education is a powerful and valuable thing. It can change someone’s life, springing them forward to a better, more fulfilling career. That’s why so many people put a high degree of value on attending and then graduating from college or some other school beyond high school.

However, like everything else in life, the price of a college education has gone up considerably. Most people who attend any school after high school must take out loans to go. Then, after graduating, those student loan payments can be made for years, sometimes even decades after graduating. This can become an enormous burden, weighing heavily on one’s mind and bank account.

As a clip posted on YouTube shows, students who attend the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City will be able to do so tuition-free. This comes after Dr. Ruth Gottesman, a member of the school’s faculty, announced her $1 billion donation.

After the announcement, the auditorium erupted in pure pandemonium. Students immediately began jumping up and down, cheering. Some of the students were even moved to tears at the news.

Dr. Gottesman, as the clip points out, is the widow of financier David Gottesman. The money David made during his career, which included being an early investor in Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway, made that surprise announcement possible.

What a generous and life-changing gift!

The clip adds that Dr. Gottesman only had one request from the school following her donation. She did not want them to change the school’s name from the Albert Einstein School College of Medicine.

Little Girl Fighting Cancer Receives Special Surprise From Taylor Swift During Concert

A little girl fighting brain cancer received a special surprise and had an unforgettable moment with Taylor Swift during one of her concerts.

Taylor Swift is, without a doubt, the biggest, most recognizable entertainer in the world. Every song and album she puts out turns into a hit, sells millions of copies and instantly shoots to the top of the charts. Tickets to one of her concerts on her worldwide tour are highly coveted, being nearly impossible to get.

To say Taylor Swift has people who look up to and admire her would be to put it lightly. Someone in her position can greatly impact someone else’s life and outlook. The Grammy Award-winning singer, during one of her stops in Australia, did just that, making a sick child’s day.

In a clip posted on Instagram, while performing her hit song “22,” Taylor and her dancers make their way down the long stage. The video shows a young woman, Scarlett Oliver, anxiously looking on at the front of the stage.

Scarlett is a 9-year-old girl who was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer in October 2023, according to People.

Seconds into the video, Taylor appears in the video as she kneels by the young woman, hugs her, and then takes off her hat and places it on Scarlett. Taylor then grabs the young lady’s hands and kisses them before she returns to her dancers on stage.

It’s clear that Scarlett cannot believe what just happened. The look in her eyes says it all. Taylor’s simple but kind and loving gesture made Scarlett’s night and meant the world to her.

Scarlett wasn’t the only one who appreciated Taylor’s kindness. Scarlett’s stepmother, who posted the interaction on Instagram, expressed her gratitude to the singer.

“@Taylorswift you are AMAZING!! Thank you so much for making Scarlett’s dream come true!!,” she wrote in the video’s caption.

Man Escorts Fiance's Sister To Daddy-Daughter Dance After Her Father's Passing

One man stepped up and lovingly decided to take his fiancée’s little sister to a daddy-daughter dance after her father passed away.

Becoming a parent is one of life’s greatest blessings. All children are a gift from the good Lord above. They deserve to be in a home and with people who will care for and love them. That’s all anybody wants, right?

No one wants to be with someone and have their needs, thoughts and opinions disregarded and tossed to the side. Everyone wants to know that they do matter. But telling someone how much you care and love them is much easier than showing them. As the old saying goes, talk is cheap.

The best way to show someone how much they care is through actions and deeds, showing up when it counts. That’s exactly what one young man did for a little girl whose father had passed away.

The text at the beginning of a woman’s video posted on social media explains that her father passed away three years ago. That left the woman’s younger sister without someone to take her to an upcoming daddy-daughter dance. However, one young man refused to let that be the case.

Instead of letting the child sit on the sideline and not attend the dance, the woman’s fiancé agreed to get dressed up and take her to the daddy-daughter shindig.

The short, 40-second video shows the young man in the bathroom, staring into the mirror as he puts on his tie and jacket. Likewise, the little girl sits in her room, looking at a mirror as someone stands nearby and lets loose with a bottle of hairspray. By the end of the video, the little girl, now wearing a blue dress and minimal makeup, walks into the room and approaches her date for the evening.

What a sweet and loving gesture that will likely mean the world to that little girl.

Candace Cameron Bure Reflects On The Bible Verse From Job That Sparked Laughter

Actress and Christian Candace Cameron Bure mentioned that while reading the Old Testament book of Job, there was a verse that caused her to laugh out loud.

When most people think of the book of Job, laughter is not commonly associated with it. Job, in the Bible’s Old Testament, tells the story of Job – a righteous man of God. The Lord had blessed Job. He was a wealthy man with a wife, many children and an abundance of livestock.

However, Job’s life soon took a dramatic turn. Satan told God that Job would not praise Him if all his material blessings, family and health were taken away. So, that’s what happened – everything was taken from Job. But Satan was proven wrong, and Job continued to praise God.

Later in the book, as Candace mentions, as Job is enduring these hardships, he has individuals giving him advice. Their advice is not helpful for what he is going through, and it is one verse in which Job responds to them that caused the “Fuller House” actress to react with laughter.

“There’s a line in there that he says back to them, and I’m paraphrasing: ‘If only you would just shut your mouth, and let that be your wisdom,’” she said. “I was like, ‘Job, that’s so smart.’

She added: “Sometimes people think they are so wise, and I’m, like, if you’d only shut your mouth and being wise from keeping silent. It made me laugh out loud reading that in the Bible.”

One of the nation’s presidents, Abraham Lincoln, has a quote often credited to him that also expresses this idea. “It is better to remain silent and thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.”

Sadly, we all know people who would benefit greatly from Job’s and Abraham Lincoln’s wise words.

Job 13:5 “If only you would keep quiet, it would be a sign of wisdom!”
