8-Year-Old Learns Sign Language To Connect With Deaf Delivery Driver

One young woman, an 8-year-old, decided to learn sign language to communicate and connect with a deaf delivery driver.

Kindness can take many different shapes, sizes and forms. There’s an entire spectrum of acts of kindness that can and will help brighten someone’s day, mood and outlook. Everyone will benefit from an unexpected act of kindness, from our family members to a stranger on the street.

Kindness and love are severely lacking in this lost and broken world. But at the same time, there can never be too much kindness, care and love. The more empathy we show, the better for everyone involved.

In a video posted on TikTok, one little girl, Tallulah McLellan, exhibited incredible kindness, care and empathy for a delivery driver, Tim Joseph. The short clip’s description states that Tim is deaf. In the 15-second video, Tallulah uses sign language to communicate with Tim.

After signing a message to Tim, the kind delivery driver responds to Tallulah using sign language. The little girl, after Tim’s initial response, continues to sign, much to Tim’s surprise and delight.

Tim, as Tallulah goes through a series of rapid hand movements, smiles at the little girl’s kind efforts. The video’s description adds that Tallulah and Tim are friends. Their first bit of communication began with a “hand-drawn card” and has now progressed to Tallulah learning sign language to properly communicate with him.

What a heartwarming and beautiful act of kindness of love from someone so young!

People in this world are hurting and struggling. Most people are fighting an invisible battle of some kind. But, people often need and desire someone to meet them where they are, displaying unconditional kindness and love no matter the circumstances, much like what Tallulah did for Tim.

Ephesians 4:32 “And be kind to one another, full of pity, having forgiveness for one another, even as God in Christ had forgiveness for you.”

Comedian And Actor Steve Martin Strumming On The Banjo

You might recognize the guy playing the banjo in this Instagram post. It’s the famous actor, Steven Martin sharing his banjo skills with an upbeat song. In the Instagram post, his caption reads, “Here’s my first banjo video I posted on Twitter at the start of the pandemic.”

The 78-year old is known for his roles in movies such as Father of the Bride, Three Amigos, and Cheaper By the Dozen. He is also one of the stars along with Martin Short and Selena Gomez, of the current television series, Only Murders in the Building. He has made us laugh over the years and is one of the most well-known actors of his generation.

You know Steve from his movies and comedy shows but he has also been playing the banjo since he was 17 years old. He has included the banjo and music in his comedy routines over the years and his first solo album, “The Crow: New Songs for the 5-String Banjo” received a Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album in 2010.

Many in the comments love his banjo playing. As one commenter says, “Me: I don't like banjo music. Steve Martin: You do now. Me: I do now. 👏Man, that was lovely.” and another comments, “Steve Martin will be cool for forever. ❤️ he’s an icon of humor, music and joy. Watching this man is a happy place for me.”

The man can make music and it is clear that he enjoys doing so. Whenever we watch an actor or actress on stage, we might not realize what other talents they might hold. For Steve, that includes making great music along with his acting and making all of us laugh year after year.

Father Of 5 Mesmerizes With Captivating Performance Of Sam Cooke Classic On American Idol

A 28-year-old and father of five gave a stunning and emotional performance of Sam Cooke’s classic, “Bring It on Home to Me,” during his audition on American Idol.

Most people want to better their situation in life and take steps toward making that vision a reality. They desire a better future for themselves and their children. That’s something all parents want for their children. Anyone who doesn't want to provide or at least try to do so for their kids isn’t much of a parent.

One of those people hoping to change his lot in life and make a better life for his children is Odell Bunton Jr. In a clip posted on YouTube, Odell reveals that he and his wife are the proud parents of five little bundles of joy. To provide for them, he works security during the overnight shift at the Dallas airport.

But Odell and his family live in a hotel, and he wants more. He sees music as a way to do that for him and his family. After his stunning audition on American Idol, Odell may be right!

Moments after singing the first few words of the iconic song, it’s clear that Odell has a ton of musical, God-given talent. Given the expressions from Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan during his audition, they also agree.

All the judges gave the father of five plenty of comments and compliments on his audition. However, Katy gave him the highest, kindest compliment.

“I would say that you’re the best soul singer we have this season,” Katy said.

Lionel and Luke agree with Katy’s assessment. Luke said that he even got chills while listening to Odell.

Odell is on his way to Hollywood and is one big step closer to giving his family the better life he desires for them.

Gaither Vocal Band Covers 'Three Times A Lady' By Commodores

This is a precious video of celebrating love. The Gaither Vocal Band covers “Three Times a Lady” by Commodores.

At the start of the video, we see five male vocalists in the band sitting next to their wives. The main vocalist in the middle sings to his wife with his incredible voice. He is romantic, and she looks so in love with her husband as he sings about the memories that they share. He smoothly raises his eyebrows while having fun with his wife. She is soaking in this moment.

The others join in and sing out the chorus:

“You're once, twice, three times a lady

And I love you”

It is a special moment to see each couple sitting at couches and tables next to one another. They are all in various seasons of life and in their relationships, but the Lord has faithfully led each couple together for His purposes. This cover reminds us to always cherish the ones we love.

Towards the end of the video, we see the men stand up and sing with brilliant harmonies. They continue to each take peaks back at their brides.

At the end, Bill jokes by saying, “And now that we’re living the end of our rainbow. Wish we had written that line.” They all laugh. He tells Gloria, “You’re still a lady.” The camera zooms in on Bill holding Gloria’s hand. Their love has stood the test of time. The Gaithers are in their old age and celebrating the gift of marriage.

Watching this reminds us of the beautiful gift of marriage. God created marriage to be a reflection of His love for His people. Today, we celebrate that love from Him and the relationships around us who we are able to love as well.

“He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord.” Proverbs 18:22

Stunning Violin Cover Of 80s Hit 'Livin' On A Prayer' By Bon Jovi

This young woman is taking the world by storm with her creativity and high level of talent. Check out Karolina Protsenko’s stunning violin cover of 80’s hit, ‘Livin’ On a Prayer’ by Bon Jovi.

Karolina has flair and poise as she does this classic song in the beautiful outdoor shopping center. A variety of people are watching her perform.

We see families with young children, elderly people, and even a construction worker who has stopped to listen in. The unique part of Karolina’s performance is that she pairs her dancing skills with the violin. It is a true blend of the arts.

She hits stunningly high notes with flawless effort. You can see people come and throw money in the tip jar as you can tell this young woman has practiced and worked very hard to put on such an inspiring show.

As you listen, it appears to be so well done you would think someone much older and experienced would be playing at this level. However, God is the giver of gifts and talents, and He has provided for this girl to have such a beautiful love and natural ability with the violin.

This video reminds us of how the Lord has gifted us. We may not be prodigies, but we all have something that we love or are talented in to bring to the table. What is it that the Lord has entrusted to you to use as a blessing to others?

Karolina certainly blesses all of us with her bubbly personality, skilled violin playing, and beautiful dance.

“Yet you, LORD, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.” Isaiah 64:8

8-Year-Old Girl's Quick Actions Keep Her And Little Sister Safe During Carjacking

This is a story of genuine heroism. An 8-year-old girl’s quick actions keep her and her little sister safe during a carjacking.

In this report, we see a picture of a precious family of four. There is an 8-year-old with a 2-year-old younger sister seen in the photo. Everyone, thankfully, is safe and ok.

However, the heartwrenching voicemail comes to the mother that the girls need her help because they lost their dad. They were simply in a car wash when someone came in and hijacked their car. You hear the father’s call to the police, explaining that someone stole his car with his two kids in the car. This is a moment that no parent ever wants to encounter.

Adam Jorgenson was just getting out of his car to dry it, and a man came up to ask for directions. Suddenly, he heard the car take off with his children in it. The young girl says that the thief noticed that she was in the car and told her to get out, but she innocently asked, “What about my sister?” The hijacker had not noticed that there were two girls in the car. He ended up leaving the girls in the car and fled the scene a mile away. Charlie saw her dad’s phone and called her mother. The mom was so emotional in the interview and was very thankful they were okay. Everyone celebrates the girl’s bravery in the situation.

This is a moment that reminds us that evil exists and sin is, unfortunately, in the world. We always need to be prayerful and be on our guard.

Praise God that none of those children were injured during the frightening ordeal.

“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” 1 Peter 5:8

Adorable Puppies Rescued After Seeking Shelter Under Crawl Space From Wintry Weather

Watch this incredible video of heroics. Adorable puppies rescued after seeking shelter under crawl space from wintry weather.

In this powerful rescue video, we see precious pups covered in snow all under an abandoned home. The puppies are not easily reachable. The girl proceeds to go far into the crawlspace. This kind-hearted young woman fights effortlessly to save these animals from freezing to death on a cold winter’s day.

It takes her four hours to get each puppy out. In the video footage, the girl is beaming in the midst of saving these cute dogs. She knows that her sacrifice, energy, and time are worth helping these creatures have a chance at life and a safe home. The final puppy is carried out of the crawl space, and a celebration occurs. You see clips of the girl army crawling while holding on tightly to the little pup. They exit into the brightness of the snow. The girl holds the puppy, cuddling him in her arms and smiling over their rescue.

One precious baby dog is curled up in a jacket while the young woman holds him in the car. Six puppies are now safe because of the decision of this girl. This woman is a hero for her actions. She battled the elements to rescue those animals.

It is inspiring for us to think through what sacrifices we can make in order to help in the situations around us. It is a comfort as a believer in Jesus to know that just like this girl was relentless in her pursuit of every puppy, our Savior has not forgotten us. He loves us and pursues us to get us out of the darkness.

“I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.” John 12:26

Billy Grammer Moving Performance Of 'Unknown Soldier'

This video clip begins with Billy Grammer telling the audience that this song, ‘Unknown Solider’ is one of his most requested songs. Then he starts to play.

With his guitar, Billy is sitting in a chair, playing to the audience at Larry’s Country Diner. The clip is from the 2nd season of the show, which was quite a few years ago.

Billy Grammer was an American country music singer and accomplished guitar player. One of his most popular songs is ‘Gotta Travel On,’ which made it onto both the country and pop charts in 1959. He was also popular at the Grand Old Opry and designed his namesake guitar, the Grammeer Guitar.

Sadly, Billy passed away in 2011 when he was in his 80s. But his music and his spirit live on through his music and past performances.

The song he is singing here has a sad quality to it. It is the song of the unknown soldier. And begins, “I looked down from heaven’s window on a grave so all alone. I’m the soldier whose body lies there and my grave is marked unknown.”

The idea of an unknown soldier is a tragic one. We often think of those who have passed as having family who mourn them, but in the case of an unknown soldier, their family could be out there not knowing what happened to them.

At least we know that God was with the soldier as they passed and he is with the family, who are probably missing that soldier, even if they don’t know what happened to them.

Larry’s Country Diner is a unique hometown variety show. They have many different musicians and entertainers come on their show. While it does appear to look like a local diner, it is a show and not a normal restaurant.

“For whether we live, we live to the Lord; and whether we die, we die to the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.” - Romans 14:8

Choir Of Young People Serenades Audience with Soulful 'Come Fly With Me' Performance

A choir of young people brought their musical talents together for an outstanding and soulful performance of Frank Sinatra’s “Come Fly with Me.”

Frank Sinatra is a Hollywood legend. The man, affectionately known as Old Blue Eyes, was a multi-talented entertainer. He thrilled audiences with his many memorable appearances on the big screen in films like “From Here to Eternity,” “The Manchurian Candidate” and “Ocean’s Eleven.”

But while he was an actor, Frank is arguably better known as a world-class singer. “That’s Life,” “My Way” and “New York, New York” are just a few of his iconic and beloved songs that are still played, listened to and covered today.

Despite passing away in 1998, Frank continues to influence entertainment, spanning generations. In a clip posted on YouTube, a choir of young people beautifully performed his hit song “Come Fly with Me.”

“Come fly with me, let’s fly, let’s fly away

If you can use some exotic booze

There’s a bar in far Bombay

Come fly with me, let’s fly, let’s fly away”

The young people give an outstanding performance of Frank’s beloved song. There isn’t a flubbed lyric or a missed or flat note throughout their lovely vocal performance. The talented choir expertly combined their voices, creating a most enjoyable listening experience.

At the end of their jaw-dropping performance of Frank Sinatra’s “Come Fly with Me,” the audience erupts in a thunderous round of applause and cheers. It’s clear the young people on stage have won over those in the audience with their beautiful performance.

So often young people only stick with the music of their generation, never bothering to branch out into music of other decades and generations. This short, less-than-2-minute clip shows these young people, because of being a part of this choir, have been exposed to music they may not have otherwise heard.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Today Show Host Savannah Guthrie Discusses Her Faith And God’s Impact On Her Life

A host of the Today Show, Savannah Guthrie, has opened up about her deep faith and God's impact on her life.

One’s faith and belief in God is very personal to many people and can be hard to discuss openly and publicly. Some people will completely disregard it, and others may even ridicule and mock the person who brings up God and faith. However, someone talking about God and Jesus Christ and the difference He has made in their life may be just what someone needs to hear.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Savannah, who admits that she had fears about discussing her faith publicly, put them aside. Savannah, in her book, “Mostly What God Does,” opened up about her faith and how God has touched her life.

She states that she grew up in the church. But it was during a devastating time as a teenager that she grew even closer to Him, clinging to his healing, comfort and protection.

Her father passed away when she was only 16 years old. She came home one Friday night to learn that he had passed unexpectedly.

“My father was a deep man of faith and conviction,” Savannah said. “I remember being asked by friends, ‘How can you still believe?’ And I remember saying, ‘Oh no, this is when I need Him the most. I can’t lose my dad and lose God at the same time.’”

Later in the clip, Savannah talked about becoming the mother to two beautiful children and how God uses parenthood to show His deep and unending love to us.

“I came to understand that parenthood is God’s greatest metaphor,” she said. “I look at my kids, and I think about how I love them and how they delight me and how much I enjoy them. And when I clued into the way I feel about my kids is how God feels about me and how God feels about us, that was transformative.”

1 John 3:1 “See what great love the Father has given us in naming us the children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not see who we are, because it did not see who he was.”

Mother's Response To Her Daughter Bullying Another Student Sends Powerful Message

One mother found out her daughter was bullying another student at school, acted and used her daughter’s punishment to send a powerful message.

Most people are struggling and battling against something. There is not a single perfect person walking on Earth. Everyone has their problems, failures and flaws. That’s why picking on and ridiculing someone is never helpful. Such cruel and hateful treatment will only serve to make things dramatically worse.

As everyone knows, kids can be some of the cruelest and cold-hearted people, especially to one another. So, when one mother found out that her daughter had been treating a classmate of hers in a less-than-optimal manner, she punished her daughter in a pretty incredible and moving way.

In a video posted on TikTok, a mother showed what she made her daughter do to apologize for her actions. The short, 40-second video begins with the mother and her daughter walking through the aisles at Target.

Text in the video explains what viewers are seeing as they watch the short clip.

“POV (Point of View): Your child decided to be a follower and bully another kid today knowing you hate bullies! This is how we apologize in our house hold,” the text reads.

Next, the video cuts to a basketful of items. There is also a card in which the child wrote a message apologizing to the other young lady for her actions.

The note inside the card reads: “Im sorry for being mean to you and talking about your hair, you are a wonderful friend to me, so I apologize for that.”

The mother, who posted the video on social media, wrote how she always tells her children that they never know what someone else is enduring and what they are experiencing.

Children can be cruel to one another, teasing and making fun of others for something they have no control over. However, it appears that this mother is doing things the right way. She is trying to teach her children to be empathetic and to show kindness and compassion for others.

Ephesians 4:32 “And be kind to one another, full of pity, having forgiveness for one another, even as God in Christ had forgiveness for you.”

Actress Danica McKellar Shares Her Faith Journey And Her Hope This Easter

Actress Danica McKellar has shared her faith journey and her biggest hope for this Easter.

Talking about faith and sharing how one found the Lord can be difficult and stressful. However, the Bible states we are to go out into the world, into all nations, and make disciples for Him. One of the most effective ways to do that is to share one’s testimony and how Christ’s love and forgiveness changed their life.

But most people are entirely too concerned with the opinions of others. What will people think about us if we talk about religion, faith and Jesus Christ? Will we offend people? Will they think differently of us? These are thoughts that someone will experience that will likely keep them from sharing the good news about Jesus Christ.

However stressful as it may be, putting those fears and anxieties aside is necessary. Christ’s life-changing message of love, hope and forgiveness is too important to keep concealed and hidden away.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Danica shared how she came to know Jesus Christ, was changed by the Holy Spirit and what she hopes for during this Easter season.

As The Wonder Years actress mentions, her faith journey all started because of an action from her friend and fellow actress Candace Cameron Bure.

Danica says that after going to church with Candace where she watched a Passion play, her “life was transformed.”

“The Holy Spirit came to me; that’s my only explanation,” she said.

Now, Danica has a wish and hope for all people at Easter. She wants all to remain open to learning about and receiving God’s abundant love.

“His love and forgiveness is here for every single person,” she said. “It’s available to every person on Earth, and that is amazing. I am so grateful.”

Matthew 28:6 “He is not here, for he has come to life again, even as he said. Come, see the Lord’s resting place.”

Savanna Shaw's Soul-Stirring Cover Of 'I Will Always Love You' By Whitney Houston

The incredibly talented Savanna Shaw turned in a soul-stirring and awe-inspiring cover performance of Whitney Houston’s massive hit, “I Will Always Love You.”

The late Whitney Houston was a legendary singer who was blessed with an unreal, angelic voice. She could reach, hit and hold notes that many other musicians can only dream of. She demonstrated her unbelievable level of talent throughout her decades-long career. She scored hit after hit, with such songs as “I Wanna Dance with Somebody,” “Greatest Love of All” and “Didn’t We Almost Have It All.”

However, the song most closely associated with Whitney Houston is “I Will Always Love You.” Of course, that is a tune that Dolly Parton originally wrote and released back in the 1970s, according to People.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Savanna, without her talented singer father, Mat, puts on a solo demonstration. She gives a beautiful performance of the Whitney Houston and Dolly Parton tune.

As she does with everything she sings, Savanna knocks this cover out of the park. It’s an absolutely fantastic performance that shows off her control and strength of her voice. While it may not be at the level of Whitney Houston, this cover is still an enjoyable listen. It should be played repeatedly to appreciate the level of Savanna’s vocal talent.

“And I

Will always love you

I will always love you

I will always love you”

As mentioned earlier, Savanna typically performs with her father. They both continually turn in spectacular performances. Everything the duo puts out is worth a listen or two or three. However, I’m sure most people would not have a problem if Savanna decided to do more of these solo-type performances.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Young Woman Exemplifies Love As Lifelong Caregiver For Her Brother With Rare Disorder

Victor Pauca is 18 and living with an incredibly rare condition. Francesca Pauca, 21, is his sister and is one of his caregivers. In this YouTube video, we get to hear their story.

Victor’s parents started to notice that he wasn’t reaching his developmental milestones when he was about six months old. He was then diagnosed with Pitt-Hopkins Syndrome at 2.5 years old.

Pitt-Hopkins is an autism spectrum disorder that causes developmental delays and he was one of the first people in the world to be diagnosed with it. Pitt-Hopkins is caused by a mutation of the gene, TCF4 on the 18th chromosome.

Francesca talks about how the day-to-day with Victor is a team effort by her family. “Different people take on different tasks,” she says. “One by one we pick it all up and we do it together.”

Although Victor used to eat by mouth. Now, however, he requires four feedings with a feeding tube per day. His health can also be unstable and he has ended up in the hospital, but Francesca is right there with him through it all.

Victor is nonverbal but he can communicate either nonverbally or through using different sounds that his family can understand. He does sometimes use a touch-chat. The family talks to Victor like he is any other 18-year-old boy.

The family also includes him in household chores. You can see a clip of him doing laundry.

Francesca goes to Princeton as a psychology major. She plans to return home after graduating college to care for Victor. She says she has been planning to do so for a long time. “It’s the only life I know,” she says when talking about taking care of him.

“I am 21 years old and I’ll be my brother’s caregiver in the future.”

While her parents still plan to be his caregiver for a few more decades, both she and her sister are committed to being his caregivers in the future. What an amazing thing for a sibling to do.

The family has also started the Pitt-Hopkins Research Foundation to help others.

Francesca took to social media to educate others about how fulfilling caregiving can be. She says, “I would want them to know that the work that they're doing, especially caregiving, is important and it’s beautiful and it’s appreciated.”

Francesca and her family are not only showing love to their brother, but connecting with their community, and others to help them in their own caregiving journeys. She is quite the inspiration!

“And the King shall answer and say to them, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you have done it to one of the least of these my brothers, you have done it to me.” - Matthew 25:4

Cat Given 6 Months To Live Beats The Odds And Is Now Cancer Free

Princess Charming was given just six months to live. But now she is cancer-free and is thriving.

In this YouTube video, we get to hear the story of Princess Charming and her new owner, Sath. Sath, tells us that she was scrolling on Instagram and found a post about a very sad cat that was living on the streets. She was found by some neighbors and they noticed that she had a wound on her leg.

It turned out to be an aggressive sarcoma and the neighbors raised money to have her leg amputated. The cancer was going to come back, and she would pass away soon. She couldn’t go back on the streets.

Sath decided to adopt Princess Charming in April of 2022. “At that very moment I knew my purpose,” she says about adopting the cat. “I just wanted her to have like an easy transition before she left Earth.”

While Sath didn’t know exactly what to do with a cat on hospice, she planned to just give her love and help her have a normal experience of being a cat. Slowly the cat became more and more comfortable with Sath as she showed her the love and care that she needed.

When Princess Charming outlived the timeline the vet had given her, Sath took her in for x-rays and was in for a surprise. The cancer was gone. It was a real miracle.

“At that moment I had a sense of gratitude and I knew. I knew that it was the love that healed her.” She also talks about how it was confirmation that God and miracles existed. And there is so much truth to that.

What a lovely turn of events for Princess Charming and Sath. During the video, you can see how much the two of them have bonded and how great the cat’s new life is now that she has a loving home of her own.

"The Lord will be his support on his bed of pain: by you will all his grief be turned to strength." - Psalm 41:3

Father's Emotional Reaction To Daughter's SAT Score Captivates

One father reacted emotionally, unable to contain his joy and excitement about his daughter’s recent SAT scores.

All parents want their children to be happy and to succeed in whatever they choose to do in life. Sometimes that is not always the case, as moms and dads know very well. Children, at times, will fail, fall and stumble. It happens to everyone, and it’s especially painful to watch when it happens to your child.

It's because of those heartbreaking times when parents see their children unhappy or fail that makes their child’s wins that much more enjoyable. I guess it’s true, we wouldn’t know happiness or joy if not for sadness and grief.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one was blown away after hearing that his daughter received a stunning score on the SAT. The happy family is sitting down at the table, enjoying a meal together when the young woman tells her father the good news.

This was the girl’s second attempt at the SAT. Her first try was higher than what a lot of people score on the standardized test. She mentions that this time, she did better than her original 1510 score.

When she finally tells her dad her 1590 score, he loses his mind, screaming and shouting at the top of his lungs.

“No way! No way! Are you kidding me? You’re not kidding me?” the proud father responds.

Everyone in the room laughs at the father’s reaction to the unbelievably good news.

The clip ends with the father telling his daughter, “Congratulations seems like not enough. That’s amazing Alyssa.”

What a sweet and genuine reaction from an obviously loving and supportive father who wants nothing but the best for his daughter.

Also, what child, even though they might be embarrassed at the time, wouldn’t want their parents to react this way to their good news?

Proverbs 22:6 “If a child is trained up in the right way, even when he is old he will not be turned away from it.”
